    Beautiful. What excellent condition. So fortunate the former owner(s) garaged it and kept it mint.
    While I remember 1991, I wouldn’t say it feels like just yesterday. Though hard to believe 1991 is in the “classic realm” now, but alas… I’m growing older. 😩

      I know what you mean… ‘91 still seems newish to me somehow. Back then I was driving cars from the ‘60s and ‘70s, so maybe that’s why. Lol

    Beautiful Brougham and in a very rare color. Most of these were in black, white, crimson, or gold.

    I love these cars with a sick passion. It takes a very artistic mind to understand the art this car represents. I own an 85 in Cranberry with the plum interior with every option except the simulated convertible top. I never understood that concept, especially with a sunroof. A 4 dr car with a fake top and a sunroof, doesn’t add up, except it was a huge profit maker. Anyway, mine is 100% original except for the reproduction battery, (which looks identical to the original) and of course the fluids have been changed. It’s a point show car with its original tires and headliner and out of all 25 of my cars, it’s the one I actually drive. I even prefer to drive it over my $200k + car. I’m obsessed with these cars. Thanks for sharing

      The simulated convertible tops were non factory add-ones for extra profit. I definitely would not consider yours to be missing anything. Would love to see it!

    January 11, 2024 Beautiful 1991 Brougham Silver de Elegance. $29,000 though is steep for my purse. But it's like buying a new Brougham being low in mileage. Manufacturers should still make the 1990 - 1991 Broughams because they are still very much liked. I have a 1990 and have had 7 offers for it. Please keep me informed on other Broughams of that year that's in good condition please. Thank you.

      Good observations. I also like the 4.5 and 4.9 cars, but they have not caught on yet. I do think they eventually will be more appreciated than they have been.
      Unless you have driven multiple Broughams with the same engines, you would not be able to make the observations about the ride quality. But I stand by what I said about 5.0 cars riding better.

    • @joe6096
      @joe6096 2 года назад

      @@southerncadman7066 Yes the 5.0 is the Olds 307 which GM put in a lot of cars from 1979-93. It's tuned for more of quiet luxury ride. The 5.7 350 they used that was an option on the 1990-92 Broughams was actually their TRUCK engine. NOT the Corvette engine. That's why you got that engine when you ordered the trailer towing package on the Brougham which enabled 7500 lb towing! They did switch to the Corvette-derived LT1 350 for the 1993 redesigned Fleetwood Brougham, with the infamous opti-spark ignition

    Do you find and sell Cadillacs ?
    This is a great find in superb condition!
    Are Royal Seal tires a precursor to Vogue Tyres?

    • @southerncadman7066
      @southerncadman7066  Год назад +2

      I have been buying, collecting, and selling Cadillacs for over 30 years. Thank you, this was a very nice car.
      If I’m not mistaken,, Vogue tires came out first and Royal Seal tires were actually something of an attempt to emulate them. I believe the Royal Seals look better. With the gold stripe on the I outside with Vogues, the whitewalls are much harder to keep clean.

    • @southerncadman7066
      @southerncadman7066  2 года назад +1

      They need to flex some to fit them correctly.

    • @joe6096
      @joe6096 2 года назад +4

      They had to be flexible to meet the federal 5 mph bumper standard at the time. Theoretically, the bumpers on this car are supposed to be able to gently collapse at less than 5 mph then slowly slide back out, showing little or no damage. The fillers have to be plastic to flex as the bumper goes in.
