Southerncadman
Добавлен 15 июн 2021
A Cadillac enthusiast since the 1980s, the so-called “Southerncadman” grew up in New England but has lived in the South since 1989. Although he has been called a collector, he calls himself a Cadillac “Accumulator”. When asked how many cars he has, he simply responds by saying that it is bad luck to count your Cadillacs. Southerncadman has kept his interest in Cadillacs somewhat private, but he has recently acquired the domain name thebroughamcenter.com which suggests that he is about to share his interest in vintage Cadillacs with those who share his particular taste. Although he has always been passionate about his hobby, he is willing to sell almost any of his cars. Stay tuned to see what he offers up for sale.

1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. 18k original miles. Here is a rare look back in time to get a sense of what a car like this was like when it was brand new! A time capsule in many ways, this amazing specimen will bring a smile to the face of whoever decides to buy it. I am asking $24,500. Please give me a call to discuss at (919) 948-5980. Or you can email me at thebroughamcenter@gmail.com. Enjoy!

Doesn't look like water got in the trunk. That happened to my '74 Fleetwood. Leaked at the back window.
What a gorgeous Cadillac! The epitome of class and elegance. Whoever gets this car is very lucky indeed.
Sorry son. I do not want leather, Beautiful car though.
Wanna sell it for 18K?
ELEGANTE PERFECTO FOR ME THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME, ITS MISSING THE CADILLAC CREST ON THE HOOD.
Do you also know where to get parts for Cadillacs like a neutral safety switch for 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood
Sorry, I don’t
I bought a 73 Fleetwood in 76. Loved that car. My first Cadillac. I now have 75 Sedan de Ville that need some rust work and paint.
This is by far, my most favorite model car!!!! And this condition is just unbelievable!!!! I think I only blinked about 5 times during this video! DAMN!!!!!!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thats Ziebart. I know the plugs. That was the best product on the market
Thanks for the info.
But..8 miles to gallon of gas ..
What a great piece. Model year I was born!
Beautiful 👍🏻
Fine classic Fleetwood Brougham, I owned the twin to this years ago here in California and also had another FB ‘73 same in blue. You did a great showing of the Fleetwood in your video and like your wife I’d hate to see it go.🎄
I want that! 🤩
Почему про цену не говоришь,мы знаем что такое Кадиллак,нам надо знать цену машины.
Omg. I cannot believe how beautiful this car is. Those colors. That chrome! That interior! What a dream. My XTS VSport is a tight fit in my garage.....this would have no chance! This is what a luxury car should be.
I owned a 1973 Cadillac Sedan de Ville in 1977 that was white with a Navy blue top and leather interior. I loved that car.
In the mid to late 1980s I worked at a grocery store while in high school and college. The owners had a 1973 Fleetwood like this. I think the brown paint was a little darker and the interior was multi-colored brown and tan velour. They kept this car for convenience, but had moved on to newer luxury cars. I would sometimes be sent on errands and had to drive it. It was like driving a yacht. I always thought you could run through a canal ditch or over another car and never feel it. It was unbelievable. They don't make them like that anymore.
Loved the cars of the 70's when cars had class.
Absolutely STUNNING... !!!!!
That was the best looking one to me !
Outstanding
A near perfect representation of the 70's. Long, with chrome bumpers, Big block V8, lotsa woodgrain, leather bench seat, thick carpet, tilt wheel, awesome wheel covers.... Nice color combination too. Does it have 8 track?
Yes, I should have pointed that out! I forgot.
He's like a bull in a china shop
Beautiful love the color!
fantastic condition, fantastic color combination inside and out
What's the money
Asking $24,500.
@southerncadman7066 understand thank you. A nice piece
Str8 Elegance my God magnificent beauty
My first car I got back in 82 or 81 not sure was a 1971 Cadillac sedan DeVille that I bought from the original owner old lady I only had 85,000 mi on it it was a nice car for a first car I can blow away a lot of people in a big Cadillac it was very fast with the 472 being an 18 year old boy with the car with the 472 with 375 horsepower and I always put premium in it let it they had back then at 76 in California with 92 octane but it would still ping a little bit.
Yeah, sounds familiar. It was hard to keep those from pinging. LOL. I remember back in the ‘80s buying octane booster at K-Mart for $0.99 to add to each tank of my 1975 Eldorado.
If you like to see old Cadillacs going fast you ought to check out the video of the guy driving a 70 coupe DeVille around the Nuremberg ring in Germany and doing over a hundred miles an hour flying that big boat it's a great video.
It's my favorite year for Sedan de Villes and Fleetwood Broughams. While 18k is phenomenal, I can't see paying that much with the paint in that condition and the rust inside the rear deck. That's a serious turn off.
I thought about touching up the paint in a surgical way. The spot of rust is actually typical for that year. It is isolated and not a bad fix, but have to remove the glass and package tray. But as long as the car is kept inside it wont get any worse.
Southerncadman Hello, WOW, that's a beautiful classic 1973 Cadillac !! Knowing me being a perfectionist I would definitely have to take care that rust in the window area and under the Vinyl top !! That's only reason why I don't care for Vinyl tops because they trap moisture underneath , but definitely a beautiful car !!🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪🔥❤️
How much????
That odometer has been rolled back.
How do you suppose?
How much
I wish I had room for one more car in my garage. Beautiful car, great video 👍
Parts may be hard to find - beautiful vehicle.
We missed you man. 👀 at the brougham you drove by at your house
Good eye. It is coming up soon.
That’s a beautiful car
Absolutely Delicious
lol mate listening to you talk about the Caddi , I need to listen Barry White to complete the feeling .
That color is simply some kind of gorgeous! I would absolutely adore a Lyriq in this shade. *Lacquer Mirage Taupe (sublime American Iron)
Yes Sir 👍🏾👍🏾💯💯
No coach lamps? Dad had one.
No, it didn’t have that option.
1973 was a great year for Caddy as the updates over the 1972 were beautiful. The grill and headlight design looked so much better, as did the rear tailights. The simple style wheel covers were so elegant and timeless. The interior was much improved as well, with much more plush door panels, nicer wood grain trim, and better seat sew styles. The color looks really nice too, and I don't recall seeing many this color. My parents had a 73 SDV with a gold exterior, black vinyl roof, and maize color leather interior. Simply beautiful.
America is a big country and no one should be allowed to drive a small car. Ugh !😅
Absolutely Stunning!!
Those cars last longer because most were easy to fix
True. But back then, there was a mentality that 100k miles was the end of the line. A lot of good cars got junked before they should have.
Very nice car rare color sweet interior
It came with new tires they put new tires on in the 90,s and you put new tires on it that's a lot of tires for 40k
Yes. Tires age out. The side walls can dry rot and become unsafe after about 7-8 years. They develop flat spots from sitting and most of all, moisture in the compressed air in the tires can cause the steel belts to weaken from rust and potentially come apart. All of the above have happened to me on tires that had nearly full tread.
