- i am restoring this 1949 Ford model car which which was abandoned the hard part was making the door and interior of this model car i made everything (doors interior cars mirrors by myself)

Would like to see your videos where you destroy the cars. Everyone.. well anyone with common sense can tell this was made to look abandoned so you could “restore” it. I actually like the abandoned look. Like it was a legit junkyard car. Can you show videos where you prep the vehicles for your restore videos?
It looks like someone ruined and aged this model on purpose - it's not an old model and the patina is artificial
Uh, what a bad paint job. The rear bumper is mounted upside down, the whole chassis is bent.................

I think these restorations are fantastic, but I can’t help feeling there has been some help in making the item look really bashed up to make the restoration more spectacular 🤔

The whole car body are slightly twistwed ,especialy down and front hood.The color of peinture terrific.Try again to realign the whole body

Who did you get to pre-distress the model? The "scratched paint" was UNDERNEATH the plastics which would have protected the surface, and even INSIDE.
Yes this model does appear to be distressed to make it look old. I don’t like videos that fake it.
DAYUMM, I don't think I've ever done several WTF per minute of a resto video... Not one thing of this "resto" made sense... Let alone boost the value on this model. 🤦🏻♂️

I think it would make for a better story if you showed the model being broken up! Looks like more work than rebuilding!
It's still bent in the middle. the front end doesn't line up with the back end.

I got a Lamborghini Aventador same scale n diecast .....some parts can be made but hard to make complex parts

Great restoration and reconstruction of parts, However, not an $850 worth car. I mean this is no 1920's Buddy L, Steelcraft, Metalcraft or Wyandotte car. Great job non the less.

OK so you remove the front subframe and one shock goes with it
.then remove the second shock with your pin pliers ...why is there a 3rd shock ?
Your. Paint removal technique is crude and abrasive. Otherwise, decent work.
Why use rusty beaten metal to make a door when you could use new sheet metal? All that unnecessary grinding, beating, bogging ect.
i agree that your work is amazing but i think most of restoring videos are made up, i mean models intentionally broken and made look bad for purpose of the video...
There are always people like you who call fake on just about anything. I have watched carpet cleaning and restoration called fake. I have seen car detailing called fake. Any effort to make something (anything) look new again is declared fake. So much cynicism is very depressing.
Why not tell us exactly where this is fake? I would love to hear wgat you have t say. Instead of accusing, show us where it is ‘fake”. We’ll wait.
Good grief, is it poison? Rubber gloves and tools to work on it? If it’s that dangerous I would have left it where it laid.
Just wish someone would take it to the next level with working headlights and taillights we have the technology today we can make them better ❤

My grandparents had an old 49 Ford and now that I think of it, the color was an old brown color. Loved that old car.

U can tell that it’s not old I look closely at everything look at how the parts on the car look new in some places smh.

do you really always need pliers to remove an item from a model, looks a bit ridiculous to be honest
Die Farbe ist Geschmackssache, die Türen sind wacklig angebracht und die Türkanten offenbar nicht gestrichen. Der Spalt Tür/Rahmen ist zu groß, die Zierleisten nicht einheitlich. 3-
For future consideration, try using insulation foam to carve up things like seats. Much easier to work with, and would be really easy to add 3d details to, like the beaded stitching from the seats.

Why do you not show the engraving on the floor panel, so we can see who it made and when.
The brutal dismantling with a pliers is a pain to watch and prone to break something.
I guess the model is not older than twenty years.
At 1:23 you can see that it's made by Maisto. It shouldn't be too difficult to find out when they made this model

isn't there a tool that looks like a c-clamp you can use to flatten out metal like those at around 10:15?
In general you ve done a very good job, may be you should. have streched the car, becuse its frame is still bent in the middle, such a nice detail in the wood work, I like the car because it. represented the design after the war, and. before the. trend. to turn cars into big wide space ships

Great Job giving it back a life it had when it was left and found in a mangled Condition,Now it looks like it has come off the factory production line ❤️❤️❤️❤️Some fiddly bits and pieces here to give it that authentic look ,Well done ❤️Love the remastered look and looks beautiful again for a 1950s car.❤

Very little about that replica is authentic. No disc brakes, and the engine wouldn't be blue.

Definitely still a sub $5 car, you used the wrong tools, wrong colours, wrong materials and the finish is terrible… you actually made it worse.
