The Magic Numbers are SUCH a staggeringly talented band! Multiple singers, all super talented musicians too. Their whole story of being two sets of siblings (two brother and sisters too!) has to be the cutest thing ever, i`ve got kids myself and that just sounds so lovely with them being close enough to practise etc. That would be my dream is that eventually my kids all end up as close as this, it is just so cute. I think i heard that they even used to be neighbours? Either way they make incredibly good music. I was also very pleased to learn that they were fellow Brits too as their whole look and sound is very 70s US so i just assumed they were a Yank group. I shoulda known as all the best groups are British!

There was a sense of joie de vivre. I miss the wild nights out with my friends, dancing until the sun came up. Life was a lot freer than it has felt in recent years. The music was better too.

The weird thing about these guys is that once you look at them (and specially in the 2020s) , they don't look as overweight as you remembered them or as much as press made you feel they were. In fact, they looked totally average. The brunette with bangs is like a chubby Zooey Deschanel. I like her.
