The absolute greatest comedy. Ever. Nothing compared...stil doesn't today. My daughter and I used to watch this over and over. Thanks to all of the wonderful cast. RIP to those who have transitioned.
wow, this is the first time she appeared... Thank you for posting this, i grew up watching this show so the catchphrases are like religious lore to me now. Amazing to see 'i veell zay theese uunly vonce' in its original scene.
I think my favourite would be Francesca Gonshaw then Kirsten Cooke although agree they were both worth watching to the say the least. Never a big fan of Vicki Michelle who seemed to grab all the headlines. Helga (Kim Hartman) could certainly interogate me!
@@ScottyBugler2005 I don't know how anyone could get that line wrong - I heard it said only once, yet never forgot it. I guess I was leestening very carefully.
Michelle of the Resistance: 'They have been captured by the Resistance' Rene: 'Thats great' Michelle: 'No not our resistance, the communist Resistancel' Rene: 'Can you speak to them' Michelle: 'No, we are the de Gaul resistance, the communist resistance are ruthless killers - who ever wins between us will control the future of Frounce' My god - how true. wow, again wow - these clips are a revelation to me. This show was on the nose about this stuffl. I was too young to appreciate it at the time and only really remember the silly (but enjoyable) mess it became in later series.
Honestly, when the Communist resistance entered the story and Rene's death was faked, was about when the show entered its stratospherically silly (and most enjoyable) phase - before then it had been somewhat cosy and nearly authentically taut as an espionage story. But, once they went full balls-to-the-wall, it was brilliant farce without apology.
This show had the best sayings.. The best actors.. The best heights in any other show on television... Period.. It's only rival, was THE BENNY HILL SHOW..
Arthur Bostrom, Guy Siner, Kirsten Cooke, Yvette, Mimi and Flick's actors are still alive last I heard. Not sure about the rest. Kenneth Conner, legend that he is, Gordon Kaye and Rose Hill I know are dead.
@@anonUK well she was supposed to be Swiss after all. Rene mentions this in the episode Good Staff Are Hard To Find. Where he explains that Maria smuggled herself into the mail room at the POW camp and ended up getting posted (back) to Switzerland. That was the first episode of Sue Hodges character..... Mimi Labonque 😄 Courageous as a lioness. Bold as a wolf (Rene pipes up)...... Daft as a brush 😂
@@ScottyBugler2005 There are four languages spoken in Switzerland, French is the second most common after German. Italian is another depending on which part of the country you live.
BINGHAMTON: McHale, who's this girl & what's she doing here? What? What? What? What? What? MICHELLE: Listen very carefully, I shall say zis only once...
The accent switches were always great, what a way to show she was multi-lingual
From “Listen very carefully I shall say this only once” to “ok chaps”
That was always my favorite aspect of the show.
God, I wish they still did that in movies, just to smash that fourth wall without having to even look at it.
Špppp
Pppppp

I always loved Michelle. What a knockout!
She is a knockout...
Listen very carefully, she will say this only once
Without any doubt the most funniest show ever there was on TV. Period! I find British comedy to be the absolute best.

To those that have left this plane of existance?
Very skilled with the accent change and very cute too.
Kirsten Cooke was born on October 4th, 1952 in Cuckfield, West Sussex England United Kingdom
Kirsten Cooke was so perfect for her role as Michelle Dubois of the Resistance
watching more of the clip - my god, I never saw this, it explains the whole show.

I beg you pardon ?
Kirsten Cook, fell for that woman.
-Listen ve´ry ceffuly I shall say this only wönse!

Priceless! :D
Guys, I'll reveal my secret to you now - I've always considered Michelle the hottest girl on 'Allo, 'Allo!.
Imagine her being "interrogated" by Helga in Herr Flick's quarters... 😉😄
@@davidbolha Agree with that other than I would pick Helga interrogating me! She could take me to the Russian front anytime.
I always fancied Maria over others but the series was full of lookers. Herr Flick was one of my favourites.
Damned RIGHT.
Her wardrobe wasn't as sexy as some others, but underneath? She had as much talent as anyone.
@@THEAdmiralXizorOne or two of the French Resistance girls (in the trenchcoats) were stunning, as was Maria.
Kirsten Cooke-another ‘Allo ‘Allo hottie!!
I found her absolutely gorgeous too. Half the time it made you wonder what was under the coat
In no particular order. Kirsten Cooke. Franchesca Gonshaw. Carole Ashby. Vikki Michelle. Louise Gold (Even though she was only in 2 episodes)
I think my favourite would be Francesca Gonshaw then Kirsten Cooke although agree they were both worth watching to the say the least. Never a big fan of Vicki Michelle who seemed to grab all the headlines. Helga (Kim Hartman) could certainly interogate me!
Dang she looks hotter now in HD compared to years ago on those old box tv screens, while trying to adjust the rabbit ears antenna !
😂😂
I shall say this only wunce...I love this show

The best British comedy ever . The characters were hilarious 😆

And the writers didnt assume de gaul was as well known early on as he was much later.

Maria? Unfortunately, she never mastered the French accent.

So according to this show, in order for a Frenchman/woman to speak English they just need to say: Okay Chaps
A hilarious show with lots of hot women!!

Why did your dad not like it ?
I love Michelle coz of the her one liner. But I lost all respect when she started fawning over René. 😂😂😂
