All of the sins in dead rising appear to be emotionally broken. But not darlene. She just seems to be fat..but i noticed this track sort of tells her story in a way. Notice how the intro kind of sounds like 80s work out music? And it devolves into a bombastic guttural tune? "Im tired of low carbs. Im tired of celery. Im hungry!" I think darlene was trying to lose weight before the zombie apocalypse. Genuinely. But its more likely than not that she lost all of her loved ones during the apocalypse. Considering all of that, i think the sight of a buffet broke her psych, and rather then face her problems head on she manically turn to her only comfort. Gluttony. And god help anyone who wanted to take it way from her lol
I think the apocalypse happened when she was at the buffet let me explain so In dead rising 4 there is a little article that explained that Darlene won a pie eating contest which she won a gift card to uncle Billy’s buffet
@@joyfulleader5075 Dead Rising.. every of its musics does not fit most characters. The only game with that kind of music choice. Except the Convict's theme and Adam's.
@@Xenorvya I have to disagree with you there. Yeah sure some of them don't fit if that's what you believe but it's Adam and the convicts aren't the only ones with music that I guess would fit
This is a damn good track, but my favorite is probably Envy's. This has a bit too much of the "Wub" stuff/ Wobble Bass - I was never the biggest fan of Dubstep as its own thing where most of the track is wobble (and that may even be just what I was exposed to, I admit I am not too informed on its history and early stuff), but as an accentuation to really hard, gut-deep synth and high strings + deep drum and bass moments? It's amazing. That's where its merit lies I think. Envy's track is all of that - it gets a little busy at a couple spots but it doesn't permeate most of the track, which is damn near perfection to me. This track hits it the way I like it at 0:58 (and a few other parts of the track with this exact segment) with the high string accentuation behind a bit of the Wub stuff though and it's one of the reasons I like it a LOT. Especially in-game when you're actually fighting this ... abomination.

Take my like and go
I’ll say it here, drowning in your own vomit is the worst way to go. Her death scene traumatized me.
Had the same effect on my brother.
Same to me when I saw it first time.
That’s the only scene I skip when playing DR3
I showed my little brother and he said it was dumb and not scary, brah
Yeah that happens sometimes
It needs MORE extension, this leaves me HUNGRY for MORE.
I'M HUNGRYYYYYY
There's a loop button if that helps :)
celldweller never disappoints
Even confined to mobility scooter she is NOT willing to let any of her food go.
Even stabbing someone in cold blood, with a SPORK!
I'm too late to understand that reference
I mean she's grotesque I agree but that was like the exact opposite of cold blood.
That's less "cold blood" and more like "a fit of rage"
Guessing I'm the only one here in the replies who knows about the under appreciated SmashMaster
And people say sporks aren't amazing, everyone should have a spork- *I* should have a spork, I'm gonna make a spork right now.
I see the way you look at me!
But you know what?
I'm tired of low carbs. I'm tired of cellery.
*I'm hungry!*
Dead Rising 3 will always be my favourite
With fat women using oversized sporks to kill people.

I like how the dubstep "burps" (unsure of the actual term) work to the advantage of the song. My man Klayton knows how to make sound tell a story
Insane how a song with burps and farts in it can go so hard.

Oh s**t

its always the old stuff thats the best
I like this one
Yeah, it sounds like something out of a late 80's-early 90's action flick.
Thor too
"No, you can't make a theme with burp like sounds, that's cheap"
Darlene making one of the most banger parts of the OST:
I swear you could put this in Yakuza 7 and I wouldn’t notice
They sound similar when you listen to the beats
Cool
That boss is my motivation to eat healthy 😅 Her death scene nearly made me puke as well 🤣
Nick Ramos goes John Wick mode
The beginning sounds like some jazzercise bit and then it all goes wrong in a good way xD
