I think so too. They are not in the position which the DoW was after his abdication when he could sell properties back to the RF and make good money. As far as I understand he spent many decades trying to get more money from his brother KG6, even after being paid for properties he only had inherited because he was the heir to the throne. H has nothing to sell except for his silence, but honestly: Who would respect the RF if they give into blackmail? With all the lies, made up stories and vague nonsense he and his wife have blurted out over the last few years, any future stories about his family will be taken with a huge trailerload of salt and probably will not wake the same reactions as the first "bombshell revelations" when people did not know the Nuke&Nutchess' lack of truth awareness. The RF are being respected because they are keeping family matters private. Let us hope they keep doing that.
Unless Harry comes with humility & an honest desire to reconcile, he might as well stay home. I'm not in any way a monarchist but I'm just thinking of this as if they were an ordinary, everyday family. How could you do these things, say these intimate, private things about your brother, sister-in-law, father and all the rest and expect that the world would love you? I'm in Britain and I really don't think "the Palace" and the RF will suffer any more from what H & M have said. Most people I know just laugh at them and their antics. Charles has, as far as I can see, behaved with dignity over what must be very painful for him. So I definitely don't think any more money should be given to them - let them make their way in the world as all the rest of us have to. It's sad but it's all of their own making.

I agree with you that Catherine being well dressed for the dinner party was a compliment to her host and hostess, but why is it never mentioned that Meghan's 'no effort' style of dress was an insult to the guests? it makes no difference that they were related. I have never liked ripped jeans and I am 55 years old. I think they are gross. Non of my jeans are ripped. I am a capricorn like Catherine. We are very conservative and traditional in our dress. She probably just wore a nice pant suit or what she had on from work. Btw. Sophie is a capricorn too.

Good point. I keep forgetting that anything Mrs. Henry might say could be an exaggeration, omission, or a lie. We truly have no idea whatsoever what Catherine, Princess of Wales wore on that occasion. She could also have come in ripped jeans and a tee shirt, then kicked off her shoes at the front door. Or could have worn a gown, or dressed for church, or probably, as you mentioned, wore a pair of slacks and a top. I can’t recall any outfits she wore that were inappropriate. I’m being catty for sure - but Mrs. Henry’s California casual ensemble might well have cost much more than what the Princess of Wales was wearing.
Like she’s forgiven her father for some stupid photo shot, such a petty thing to never speak to your father again, just smile and put it down to experience and perhaps it would have been better not to have done it, but really nobody died because if his actions, except her Dad nearly did. I have often thought the same, the only way to end it, is to silence them legally. A payout though? It would be a great solution and there is no doubt whatsoever that they would take it, but how much would be enough? I feel, that no amount would be enough for these two. I also feel that a payout would cause absolute outrage and would not be tolerated by the people. This saga has so many layers to it, so many different tangents, grievances and issues. And now, there is the anchor children. But, ultimately - this couple are a threat to the Royal Family, and I feel that the Palace and Britains' security agencies also treat them that way, and more is going on behind the scenes than we could possible ever be privy to. Don’t think any amount of money will keep them quiet. If they breach the agreement, which is most likely, Charles is much too soft to pursue legal action. The other reason is Harry’s insistence on receiving an apology from his family, even though the reasoning may be completely irrational. For instance, Charles not letting Meghan come to Balmoral while the Queen was drawing her last breath. The reason is obvious to rest of us but not so obvious to Harry. Harry still demands an apology from his father to Meghan, that is according to his memoir.

I think one of the biggest things that bothers me is their use of the titles. If they dislike the Royal family as much as they say they do, why do they persist in using the titles? Also, if I was from Sussex in England, I would wonder why two people in the United States doing nothing to support them are still using a title representing them? Can those honorary titles not be removed?
As far as I'm concerned it ends when both of those creatures are completely disowned, lose their and the children's titles, be removed from the line of succession...in general they're like everyone else walking the street. Just. Get. Them. Gone. Already. Edit: Throwing money at them would last until they spent it and come knocking for more. I'd give that about 30 days. Nothing will work but removing them, period.
I notice that Harry never mentioned in his book that Catherine and William had H and M to stay with them at Anmer Hall for their first Christmas at Sandringham. At the time he said they had been warmly welcomed and he has conveniently forgotten all about that. As for paying them off, I think that would definitely be the end of the marriage once Meg gets the money. Not being able to the royal would render Harry useless to her.
My biggest thing against a payout is that even with a NDA they would still find a way to spin it as more evidence that the Royal family doesn't want them around and sees them as less than. In essence would feed into the crap that they are currently spouting.

According to Bower and others, the palace knew from the beginning that they would be judged on whether they made Meghan happy. And people like Angela Kelly knew from the start that Meghan was determined to be unhappy and insisted on a paper trail of all their efforts to take care of her. I don't think Meghan actually has any dirt on them. Since she made her vague threats to the Cut, their popularity has plummeted, and Harry has backtracked on the racism accusations. I think the RF might cut a deal with them someday, but the way things are going they can probably wait till H&M are over a barrel and desperate.

His grip on reality wasn't all that tight at the time of the Oprah interview, but the past few months where he has given interviews to plug his book, demonstrates that he has absolutely no grasp on reality now. After the downright nasty things he said about Camilla in his book, and the really petty childish digs he made about William, to then claim to Tom Bradby and the others that none of the comments in his book were "scathing," and that he loves his family...I mean, seriously? I don't honestly know if the Monarch still has the legal right to take control of the care and upbringing of his or her grandchildren, especially as Lilibet is a US citizen, but I would hope that would still be the case. I also don't know IF the children are real or imaginary, but if they are, then whether or not they are "of the blood," the poor souls do need rescuing from H & M.

I have never been a royalist but it has made me value the royal family and their overall role in society which is to be of service to their people. Edit hadn’t finished one thing I am surprised about is that so many people seem to think that King Charles should be a dictator and do this that and the other while calling him weak for not doing it. The role of the R F and the King is not to control people but to serve them. That is why mm could never be royal because she only serves herself. No amount of money will ever satisfy her so I wouldn’t try but at least she is out of the UK and can never come back. I don’t believe the story of the lost diary but it’s a good hook for her book. She has probably spent months trying to invent more things that never happened but with just a tiny grain of reality. Only with a serious threat to her in some way, like being sued or some other deep damage to her reputation, would that work. Do they have enough dirt on her? I'm not in any way a monarchist but I'm just thinking of this as if they were an ordinary, everyday family. How could you do these things, say these intimate, private things about your brother, sister-in-law, father and all the rest and expect that the world would love you? I'm in Britain and I really don't think "the Palace" and the RF will suffer any more from what H & M have said. Most people I know just laugh at them and their antics. Charles has, as far as I can see, behaved with dignity over what must be very painful for him. So I definitely don't think any more money should be given to them - let them make their way in the world as all the rest of us have to. It's sad but it's all of their own making.

Good point. I keep forgetting that anything Mrs. Henry might say could be an exaggeration, omission, or a lie. We truly have no idea whatsoever what Catherine, Princess of Wales wore on that occasion. She could also have come in ripped jeans and a tee shirt, then kicked off her shoes at the front door. Or could have worn a gown, or dressed for church, or probably, as you mentioned, wore a pair of slacks and a top. I can’t recall any outfits she wore that were inappropriate. I’m being catty for sure - but Mrs. Henry’s California casual ensemble might well have cost much more than what the Princess of Wales was wearing.
Like she’s forgiven her father for some stupid photo shot, such a petty thing to never speak to your father again, just smile and put it down to experience and perhaps it would have been better not to have done it, but really nobody died because if his actions, except her Dad nearly did. I have often thought the same, the only way to end it, is to silence them legally. A payout though? It would be a great solution and there is no doubt whatsoever that they would take it, but how much would be enough? I feel, that no amount would be enough for these two. I also feel that a payout would cause absolute outrage and would not be tolerated by the people. This saga has so many layers to it, so many different tangents, grievances and issues. And now, there is the anchor children. But, ultimately - this couple are a threat to the Royal Family, and I feel that the Palace and Britains' security agencies also treat them that way, and more is going on behind the scenes than we could possible ever be privy to. The other reason is Harry’s insistence on receiving an apology from his family, even though the reasoning may be completely irrational. For instance, Charles not letting Meghan come to Balmoral while the Queen was drawing her last breath. The reason is obvious to rest of us but not so obvious to Harry. Harry still demands an apology from his father to Meghan, that is according to his memoir.

I think one of the biggest things that bothers me is their use of the titles. If they dislike the Royal family as much as they say they do, why do they persist in using the titles? Also, if I was from Sussex in England, I would wonder why two people in the United States doing nothing to support them are still using a title representing them? Can those honorary titles not be removed?
As far as I'm concerned it ends when both of those creatures are completely disowned, lose their and the children's titles, be removed from the line of succession...in general they're like everyone else walking the street. Just. Get. Them. Gone. Already.
Edit: Throwing money at them would last until they spent it and come knocking for more. I'd give that about 30 days. Nothing will work but removing them, period.
I notice that Harry never mentioned in his book that Catherine and William had H and M to stay with them at Anmer Hall for their first
Christmas at Sandringham. At the time he said they had been warmly welcomed and he has conveniently forgotten all about that. As for paying them off, I think that would definitely be the end of the marriage once Meg gets the money. Not being able to the royal would render Harry useless to her.

And people like Angela Kelly knew from the start that Meghan was determined to be unhappy and insisted on a paper trail of all their efforts to take care of her. I don't think Meghan actually has any dirt on them. Since she made her vague threats to the Cut, their popularity has plummeted, and Harry has backtracked on the racism accusations. I think the RF might cut a deal with them someday, but the way things are going they can probably wait till H&M are over a barrel and desperate.

I don't think paying them anything is the answer. First, that implies guilt on the palace's part and the people working hard there that has had to suffer through those two will be very offended and rightly so. Second, for those two, there is no number that will satisfy them. They want everything and then some. It will never be enough.

No I don't think throwing money at the situation, it's called blackmail in my opinion, money exchanging hands to shut them up. Definately no, its time the pathetic media stopped with the bull they keep printing just to make money. Media blackout would be the best thing.
I so love this. You've hit on exactly the right solution - unfortunately, I can't see the Harkles being willing to let go of the attention they get from their behaviour. But moving to that is the way to go. We are all exhausted with their behaviours
The royal family should sue them for every penny they have received from the interviews,books,documentaries,etc which will basically leave them broke and probably in debt, they deserve no less.

I don't think throwing money at them will help. For one thing, it makes the RF look like they paid them off, (as in blackmail payment) which would look bad, imo. For another thing, do you think the RF has enough money to pay off Meghan? I don't. Do you think Meghan would accept an offer to be paid off when she could live forever off of talking crap about them? That *is* her only power, why would she let go of that? Only with a serious threat to her in some way, like being sued or some other deep damage to her reputation, would that work. Do they have enough dirt on her? Do they have some proof of the yacht girl rumors? There's also the bullying of RF staff members. Or maybe there is proof that the children aren't hers. It would have to be some threat like that for it to work.
Shouldn't M as the "hostess" have told her guest it's very casual.

How have those two damaged the RF? No one I know thinks any less of the RF because of anything those two have said. No one believes anything they say. Throwing money at them is definitely not the answer. No amount of money would be enough for them. Love your channel.
