BUGATTI BOLIDE: Public Debut at 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary

- On the centenary of one of the most revered motorsport events in the world, BUGATTI returned to Le Mans, showcasing the BOLIDE to the public for the very first time.
BUGATTI’s esteemed motorsport heritage is intrinsically entwined with the history of Le Mans 24 Hours. And in perfect timing to celebrate 100 years of the revered motorsport event, BUGATTI created a magical moment for onlooking crowds.
On the hallowed asphalt on which so much history has been made, the BUGATTI BOLIDE made its first-ever public appearance, taking a track lap at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
Andy Wallace, a Le Mans winner of 1988 and a Pilote Officiel for BUGATTI since 2011, took to the wheel of the BOLIDE for the showstopping lap.
Speaking moments after driving the track-only hyper sports car, Andy said: "The BOLIDE looks and feels - in every respect - like a real racing car with genuine outstanding high-performance capabilities. The fact that it generates around twice its own weight in downforce at maximum speed, giving the car a very high level of grip and stability in high-speed corners is in its own right incredibly impressive. But to then match that prowess with BUGATTI’s W16 engine, developing 1,600 PS, takes the BOLIDE to an entirely new level. The car is breath-taking in every sense.”

The Bugatti Bolide is such total eye candy for me to look at, whether it's standing still or racing down the track, I'll never ever get my eyes off of it!

next bugatti should make 2040 ps + 1 yasa axial flux motor with 500 ps that only weighs 25 kg it should be sandwiched between 10 speed multiclutch gear box and the engine plus 10 kwh catl condensed matter semi solid state battery with 430 wh/kg it means battery will weigh less than 25 kg,that also means next bugatti's electric system weighs only 60 kg with high volts cables,bugatti should unveil the beast in 2026 geneva motor show,2540 ps hybrid bugatti with carbon fiber front and rear structure it will weigh exactly the same as chiron ss but with 2540 ps hybrid powertrain,it will be the winner combo

You have no idea how much I wanted to see the performance of this car. Every time a image was released I would just stare at it for like 30 minutes. It feels so surreal watching drive around le mans when 1-3 months ago I was watching it lap le mans via a game.

@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks I'm sure it will happen. Partially owned by Mate Rimac and he's definetely the type to use the car. They took their chiron pur sport base chiron and centodieci to nurburing I'm sure without a doubt this will see the nurburing too.
I put it on high graphics and the best I could see was 301 kmh but from how fast it accelerated from 190 kmh to 301 kmh absolutely obsurd car. This is what a bugatti without the weight is. Phenomenal.

200 - 250 kmh in 2.49s
250 - 300 kmh in 4.52s
200 - 300 kmh in 7.48s

As a Bugatti fan, it has always been my dream for them to develop this type of car. Obviously, I can't afford even just one tire of it, but seeing it released for the public see, is a dream come true.

definitely not as fuel efficient as a lmh car so would be an interesting race i guess 😆
@@dankmemernoob4589 Fuel efficiency doesn't matter because of the virtual energy tank and pit shops are forced no matter how efficient you are.
@@Supcharged even if energy usage per stint is limited, a car with big and heavy engine probably isnt gonna do so well. it's like putting olympic sprinter in olympic marathon race.

@@xdp9609 le mans is a 24h race. there are many factors such as reliability and fuel efficiency and we can't just assume it will win just based on a single lap time. not to mention it also wouldn't be on an empty track and it also has be able to maneuver around the lmgt3 cars efficiently as well.

@@Raphael16045 I remember some years ago someone drove the Chiron at Le Mans and the top speed was actually higher than the LMP cars of that same year.
Yes the bolide is much faster on a straight line but on the corners it isn't quicker than the lmh car
