Weekend Walk 28 - Alresford to Winchester - Itchen Way

From the Hampshire town of Alresford into the Itchen valley, passing through the villages of Ovington, Itchen Stoke (including the church), Avington, Itchen Abbas, Martyr Worthy, Easton and Abbots Worthy then south to Winchester and a visit to the City Mill.

Greetings from Bishopstoke. Thanks for this video, which is a delight during the lockdown restrictions. Sadly the local footpaths are too narrow for me at this time of social distancing. But I will be walking along these footpaths a.s.a.p. I'm therefore itching to return to them.

Hello there. I have done the winchester to Southampton walk (around 12 miles) but would love to one day go from the source all the way to Southampton. Is it complicated above winchester or well sign posted. Thanks in advance, great video

It’s not too complex as you are following the Itchen Way, which is signposted. I’d recommend having a map though in case any signs are missing
