    Beautiful technique - i love how you aded that extra layer of crispy batter to the outside of the prawns.

    I have watched many videos, and none of them showed the trick of frying the drops of batter first in the oil to make the crispy crust! Awesome video! Thank you for sharing!

    this is the best tempura tutorial I've ever seen. that technique with the crumbs is what I've been looking for because I always have a hard time sticking the crumbs to the shrimp.

    Fantastic recipe. Just attempted, but you made it look easy. I had trouble with excessive foam, most likely the water from the shrimp. But really delicious, thank you for sharing.

    i am from the UK , what type of flour did you use?
    - is cake flour the same as PLAIN flour or SELF RAISING flour?

      @@ibriza6891 in Sainsbury, UK YOU GET THE PREMIUM PLAIN FLOUR I find that a lovely light flour almost like cake flour which you don't get in the UK but try the premium range. Great for cakes. Hope that helps
