Thanks for this vid, I received a 1.0.40 and managed to revert back to 1.0.35 to get rid of that annoying fan bug. No need for sync charge on my side. Great info.
Note, getting into boot mode was not that easy for me. I needed to get the firmware flasher running, and have the version opened in the flasher…then plug in the USB and then attach power. I did not press the CH button. Once in the boot mode, I had about 5 seconds to press the update button.
I race rc cars and the lipos capacity is way more than we use. After a 5 minute race im at about 4.05v per cell not like fpv landing 3.7 or less. Since capacity not an issue we want more punch and to do that you charge at 40amps amd discharge at 20 to heat the battery lowering ir for pumch but sacrificing battery life. Im not ready for 40amps like the pros do so so i thought id get the hota d6pro for 22amps sync feature. 6400mah 2s lipo at 22amp not quite 4c still higher than im used to. I tried using both channels as the master and it disables the other channel interface when one is selected as the sync. So for example i used channel 1 as the sync. Connected the power and balance from channel 1 to an isdt balance board. From channel 2 connected power to same isdt balance board but didn't connect chan 2 balance. Then connect my 2s 6400mah lipo to the input side of the balance board. This worked maybe ten times before the internal fuse blew in epic fashion about 30 seconds into the charge cycles as the amps rose to 22. The body is clear on the ethix charger and it lit up like a litte chriamas ornament. After that chan 1 wouldnt dectect a battery connected but the balance port still worked. Chan 2 was fine. It lasted 33 days but getfpv took care of it after 30 day warranty. I would pass using that feature. Sorry this so long
Does anyone have the HOTA D6 Pro V1.0.35 Firmware? can only get 1.0.40 I'm running stock and its got the fan issue running always, but also can't get more then 8amp output with between two channges total not sure why. my old iSDT D200 charger did about 12amps per channel but ruined the charger and replaced with a D200 mark II and it won't do 12 amps a channel only about 6amps per side. all on 110v
Unfortunately I can't change mine from 6S in this mode. It goes into the menu, I pick 4S and enter, but it stays at 6S. :(

Thanks for the tip. This was the only way it worked for me.
Oh my god. This is why we need a good Open Source charger firmware.
lead acid car batteries could use the sync charge for say your trailer battery
The fan doesn't run all the time if you turn off wireless charging
does this work on the Hota d6+?

some rc car players charge and discharge 6000-7000mah 2s lipo battery up to 40a to lower internal resistance

How do you update this thing?
Seems the "Loader.exe" is Windows only - OOL for those with Linux/Mac etc.
English HOTA website has v1.0.38 and chinese v1.0.40
got a link? I cant even find the website :S
