    One of the students hit it right on the nail by saying, "American elections is a lie". Yes, we have the freedom to vote for someone who will do for the oligarchs not the citizens.

    Bro, the singer one pointed out some very interesting things:
    Too much freedom means less freedom in the end. Cuz too much freedom gives the wrong ones power to overcome or to dim other people's freedom.
    The way we (westerns) vote doesn't represent our interests actually (or he implied it's a fr@ud)

      All the people of China can vote.
      They vote for a candidate at village level who then are further elected (or not based on merits) to move on the through the various levels to finally the central (federal) levels. They don't directly elect their president at their personal level.
      In some countries, you can at the lowest personal level also directly vote/elect the president at central (federal) level.
      Does the various systems of election the sole criteria to define the right to vote and democracy ? It's still a right to vote or be elected ...

    I think the idea of freedom is subjective depending on where you live and your culture. There are some freedoms we have in the West that some countries like China doesn't have. Yet there are freedoms in China that we don't have in the West, such as the safety at night, it's a lot safer to wander the city streets in China whereas in many Western cities it's not that safe especially to walk alone at night. Another example for instance is in the US students in school have to do safety drills regarding a potential shooter incident, yet in the UK that's just unthinkable. We had one school shooting and guns were banned and restricted. Americans would say that's a freedom issue, where in the UK we would say the opposite, children being kept safe is a bigger freedom than the ability to own a gun.

      西方选举自由真是个最大的笑话😂😂😂,资本家资助竞选人,竞选成功后再为资本家服务,每一届政府代表不同的利益,每一届政府有不同的战略目标,这导致本届政府没完成的事情到了下一届政府又变成其他选择了,真是可笑😂😂。而我们的国家拥有长远的目标,每一届政府都在为同一个目标奋斗。我们享有充分的自由,我可以凌晨三点钟在大街上独自喝酒,而你们不行,我们可以批评我们的政府做的不好而不被逮捕,我们可以公开支持以色列或者巴勒斯坦而不受影响。我们的历史课本里有很多反抗统治阶级的事例,从小告诉我们如果政府腐败无能我们就该推翻它。西方的平民面对压迫想的是加入压迫者,成为他们的一员,而我们的老百姓面对压迫考虑的是打倒压迫者,让老百姓做主人,我想这就是我们思想里的自由。另外,我们的自由是有边界的,那就是你的自由不能影响了别人的自由。

    I will explain one thing: Democracy means the government of the ppl, and what we have in west should be called plutocracies, since they dont represent the interest of the ppl, the majority. These plutocracies represent in most of the countries the rule of the big bourgeois families over the worker class. Keep this in mind.
    Places like Laos, Vietnam or China are far far more democratic that most of the world countries.

    • @brannywu680
      @brannywu680 8 месяцев назад +1

      in fact , Chinese top two universities is Beijing University and Tsinhua University. But Jiao tong university is not the only one of top threes. Instead, top threes including : Fudan, Jiaotong, Zhejing, Nanjing and Keda. Every year , around 700 million student attend examination for university enrollment. so, 0.1% (around 7000 students went to Beijing University and Tsinhua) , so top 0.2-0.3% students were recruited by top three universities (5).

    • @userlambda266
      @userlambda266 8 месяцев назад

      Is wrong the hypothesis that all the best students go to the top 1 university, the following to the top 2 and so on. The best students are not distributed among universities in such a simple way. I take your numbers as example to explain: the number of students of the top 2 universities each year is equal to the number of top 0.1% students in the country, it does not result in all students of these top 2 being among the top 0.1%. Because some even many of the top 0.1% go to other universities. Furthermore an average major in a top university may well recruit at a lower level than a popular major in a average university.
      It can only be stated that the average student level of a major in an university is normally higher than the one in a less ranked university.@@brannywu680

    US has zero democracy !!!! Don’t confuse PROCEDURAL democracy with POLICY democracy..Procedural represents everyone’s votes and it represents the people of that district and votes os counted..even here US has shortcomings as districts are drawn by winning party and they draw boundaries that benefit them..but by and large US has Procedural democracy, while in China only the Communist Party members can vote. BUT US has almost no Policy democracy as the politicians create policies that benefit the special interest groups that fund their political campaigns. Whole in China, the policies are very democratic as the CPC enacts policies that benefit the vast majority of the people and not the elites or special interest groups.

    This is deep. Did you happen to randomly pick your interviewees? Or did you prep them to talk in front of the camera?

      好像民主是你们的专属词一样,过去苏联是最大的民主国家,美国和欧洲强调自由。苏联解体后,美国和欧洲才把自由和民主结合在一起,变成所谓的普世价值。中国有中国式的民主,不需要用你们的标准来判断。中国的人民代表来自不同行业,不同民族,不同阶层,他们代表中国人民行使民主投票。美式自由让人印象深刻,在美国大街上,你穿防弹衣是违法的,你带枪是合法的。

    I am Chinese and I can tell you very clearly that there is no freedom of speech in China! I admit that China's big cities are very safe and the crime rate is very low, but it is a very dangerous thing to praise China's system just because China's big cities are safe. The reason why China is safe is because China is a dictatorial country, and almost all dictatorial countries in the world have good public security, because these countries are equivalent to a prison, the implementation of prison management, public security is of course good. Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, these countries are all democracies, but their security is no worse than China, or even better than China. Security in China's smaller cities still needs improvement. Security in every country can be improved! But dictatorships are hard to change! There is no freedom of speech or freedom of the press on the Internet in China, and Chinese laws are very opaque and not open. In China, workers are often delayed and underpaid, but workers do not have the right to strike, and information about workers asking for pay is deleted from the Internet, and people cannot criticize the government. What I want you to know is not to be fooled by the surface of China.
