Having only watched a couple videos, it still occurs to me that many people in the comments don't recognize the satire being portrayed by someone clearly skilled at what they're doing. Comedic gold, I love it!

Exactly right you are. Good video because of how instructional it really is. Worst case scenarios made worse.

One of my favorite parts, “……………huh….is that blood?…” . Ha!
We are really enjoying watching you work this pickle out, 😂. 👍
“You’re probably cringing right now..”. My husband said, “Take the bar off! Take the bar off!” In good time, you did. Those darn trees will bite your stuff, darn it.

Yes, he does , would be best if he had less equipment and more training by experienced professionals

The things going wrong are just as important to see as the things that go right. This video is great to remind us of what can happen but you don't want to see happen. Shows us why we need to plan correctly before doing a damn thing saw related.

I needed that. Hilarious, you acted like you weren't even trying to have that stuff happen. If you ever go to sell that saw I would appreciate a chance to buy it. Over 30 minutes of video and probably cut less than 2x10 inches of wood. Good job not getting the pole saw stuck. Can't hardly waite for the next vid. Thanks

At 20:30 you see why you release tension on a springpole by shaving the underside (compression) side. Not the top side. That's why the tree kicked up and hit your running saw.

Here's one of many examples: www.cdc.gov/niosh/face/in-house/full9302.html the feller was struck and killed when releasing tension on the OUTSIDE of the springpole.

I never go anywhere without two stall saws. Especially on a job.
1st I'd inspect the tree it snagged and maybe fall it 1st.
2nd id sit at 8 o'clock as over the cut as possible ready to spring way not that I'll need to.
3rd i pinch the bar now and again but seriously never come up from the bottom in a situation like that...saved me buying a book.

Soon as he said audible ill cut it here i was like WHY its gonna pinch so hard. I would of walked right up n cut it but thats just cause i cut tons similar. Its cool watchin how i must of looked 15 years ago when they threw a saw in my hands n said go cut that. Knowing what id do n take bets how many times id get the bar pinched

You had a book telling you how to deal with this situation. If you had just followed the instructions the tree would have been on the ground safely in about 10 minutes.

I've never seen so much farting around before. I have taken down hundreds of trees where sand pads were going for houses. That first broken tree would have been down and cut up in sections in the first few minutes, good grief man.

Hi, a tip from me, go to a course than you learn how you cut this, is no problem, if you have knowledge. What you do here is like apprentice. The first what you should learn, where is the pressure side and some cuts, invest this money.

Nice to see you using safety gear you just need to not drop start your chainsaw!!! Thats how you get cut! Put it on the ground and start it its faster and much easier to control

Starting the saw and running the pole saw were the strong points.

What a fiasco! He's obviously a complete beginner, from the brand new, sparkling clean kit to his lack of respect for danger zones and safety zones. Hope no other beginners take this too seriously as it's the "blind leading the blind". Could be a little knowledge being a dangerous thing indeed.
Get some proper lessons my friend, from a qualified instructor, before you have a bad accident. Your enthusiasm is admirable but dangerous.

all the gear and no idea !
Sir please ditch the book and get some hands on practical training.
I hate to say it but You're out there alone and a danger to yourself.
