I started cutting just over 2 yrs ago. Between you, RUclips Barber Academy, Andre's Classic Cuts, & Chukka ……I gained the confidence to "experiment" on me & my son's head. I branched out to watching 360Jeezy, MMA Barber, Chris Bossio, Rum Barber, etc to learn new techniques/styles, but I never forgot who really got me going. Realeboa Totsholo hey, yes you can fade without the 1.5. You could do the clipper over comb technique instead.

What setting can you put the clipper on if you don’t have a zero guard ?
You use holding spray or spritz
So the 0 guard is 1/2 with the lever open or close?
The 0 guard on the andis is that the same as a 0.5 on the wahl?
How do you know when shape your guide line to the contour of the client's head, and when to just make a straight guide line from front to back of the client's head?
Drop fade is when you contour the guidelines, regular fade is more linear guidelines

What kind of clippers are you using ?
Why don't you use 1guard on third guideline tell me why you use 0.5 guard??
You could have smoothed the bulk out in the back other than that the fade was dope.

Man I tried to fade my hair today for the first time. It was tragic!! My wife was pissed at me for messing up my own head. Blending and cutting hair in the mirror is harder then it looks man.
