For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
Big respect to Peter he knows to back off and let the boys get on with it , while he watches closely 😳😀
Great, video Matt, I love harvest time. Great to see that Aussie balanced diet, lamington and carrot. Full marks from me 😂
Another top video Matt. A least us Aussies will know about lamingtons. And your a master with the drone. Great the kids have names on their shirts as well. Will make them feel part of it. 🌟
As an Aussie, I myself have never had a lamington carrot snadwich, an aquired taste I guess.
Really enjoyed this video keep up the great content ! Good to see your daughter and time with Dad ! God bless !😊
Hope you give the Acco and Chamberlain some love in the off season. They are both Aussie icons that need to live on. If not for me, then for Clara ...
Hi Clara. Have fun working with your dad.
Great job driving the tractor and chaser bin Matt
Great job driving the combine JD
Great video Matt Brad Phil and JD
Matt thats Great having the Daughter with you..and a Lamington too..Bring's back so many memories of Harvesting in Victoria back in 1987-8
working the harvest. and helping a family on the farm with three very keen farmers 5-7 & 9 girl and two boy's. The Swaths look a lot Bigger in the Morning than the evening!!. Gee's i do miss the ole Harvesting ..Cj UK
Awesome drone footage Matt
Looks good Matt your windrows for the bailer not to bad , but heck mate fancy letting you father get in the back of the truck, young fit bloke shouldn’t hesitate to climb into that barley with that dust great for the complexion brings the redness out in you 😂😂😂😂 goes to show no matter how much maintenance you do pre season there is always something to keep you busy fixing great vlog as per usual all the best from Tassie
Hi from Canada. Just wanted to say I found your channel about a week ago and I’m really enjoying it. See what I’ve found out is you guys have farmland. I was under the impression from movies that it was all just the outback and desert with a couple of cities. Nice drone work where you can see the countryside. All the best with the rest of harvest. Cheers
Haha glad your enjoying them👍😁
You had better come and have a look for yourself.
Well done! great viewing, very enjoyable 👍👍👍Top Stuff! Goodonya 🇦🇺
Hello 👋 Peter
As a road train driver, first time I had anything to do with barley...The day went well, pulled up to the silos at the end of the day, grabbed my kit and headed over to the amenities block to have a shower, only to find the day staff had locked them and I spent the worst night of my life with the barley itch......
G'day great video. We got life saving rain a few hours east of you this week and last week. Hope you get some good rain when you finish the harvest mates.
Matt in U K the straw left behind combine not chopped is called a swath Good weather helping you through the harvest thankfully. nice to have Clara with you
It’s also called a windrow, depends what school you went to.
Miss being out there for 2023 was with Harris farming last year and really enjoyed my time on the headers , good luck with the rest of harvest 👍🏻
Great video on a full bore harvest dealing with the problems as they arise. I did 24 grape harvests in various rolls lots of Harvester driving in a "coma" sometimes. But it is always the best time of the season for sure. Good work. Regards . Will ..
Good to see the old Commer still earning its keep.
Good video team all the best with the rest of the harvest
Appears to be 22 bags/acre? A really good job in a very iffy season. And before the rain. Thanks for the update.
Perhaps harvesting has become easy with this harvester
Currently in Fiji with my new jackson brothers hat 👌 handling the humidity with no problem 👍👍
Haha great feedback!
The way Peter threw that shovel out of the truck bed I am fairly certain he wanted to throw it a lot further than that....perhaps even for an Olympic record 🤣.....as for picking up the crops off the ground I think that goes by name.....so Bradley picks up Barley and Phillip picks up Pulse Crops.....I do not think there is an M crop 😁......nice to see the custom harvest for neighbors that is just straight income and earned from the hard work of having a quality crew and well maintained machines with skilled operators 😀
M stands for mucking around😂
Didn't those machines come equipped to discharge the straw over the top of the chopper tailboard from the PSD belt? or is that not a common option down there? With our CR there are 2 levers that move two doors to let the straw bypass the chopper over the top.
Not these ones👍😁
Hi all another Harvest down and dusted ,few weeks and it will be all over again stay safe good to see big Chief doing a bit it suits him cheers God Bless you all ❤️🙏😁😁💪👍👍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks 👍😁
hey matt is that the medium profile hat your wearing? cheers
Hi mate! Yep I like the medium profile as it sits on the top of my head better without resting on my ears👍😁
Whether it’s your yearly harvest, selling your wool clip or annual cattle weaner sale or whatever your harvest is, it’s a satisfying time, knowing that all your work is paying off. Good job, all the best from Tasmania
Even getting bales undercover is a satisfying time, whether it be straw or Lucern it is still something you don't have to buy for your stock but can sell it if needed, either way it is money you're not borrowing from the bank.
Not sure if the night shooting is any better but Captain Kleeman uses DJI cameras on his channel now, as for durability they seem to get some sort of gravity training several times per video
Good seeing you fellas getting stuck in without breakdowns.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Very good Video 👍 👍
What variety are you guys growing?
Good job guys
Loved it
Lamington and carrot. N I thought my grandkids were strange..........😂
Did you get your lights and camera Back?
How did they get stolen while you´re out havesting?
Nothing yet, they were parked up in the paddock for the night👍
Matt, why did the custom barley stand look thicker then y’all’s?
It overall yielded similar but it was sown into moisture so had a better strike👍😁
Great harvest know your happy
The risk to reward on loading the bins from the header on the fly seems interesting to a nitwit like myself. Fair enough when you’re also rowing it for the neighbours to bail it, but still the risk of damage to the header would be catastrophic at harvest time, please enlighten this fool on the topic. Cheers lads.
Good question!, very rarely is there an incident but extreme care needs to be taken, chasing on the run can increase harvest productivity by over 20% as you don’t have to stop and unload for a few minutes every 15 minutes👍😁
That new drone MATT was a great investment mate i can see clearly the differences between the two of them.
Appreciate it! Very glad to hear as it wasn’t cheap😂
Hi Mat another great video ,did get any news on the grubs that stole the lights
Cheers! Not yet
New drinking game if you dare: take a shot every time Matt says ‘ummm yeah’ 😂 😂
Sorry Matt lol had to say it, haha. Really enjoy the channel !
The tireder I get the more I say it😂😂
Haha fair enough. Occupational hazard mate lol
Once again, thanks for taking us along during your busy season. Just curious, is the straw worth much/ why don’t you guys do it on your farm? Thanks again Matt.
Thanks! The issue is lost nutrients, if you bale straw the cost to replenish the lost nutrients is sometimes more then what you get for it👍😁
Ah, ok, that makes sense, thanks for that.@@thejacksonbrothers
Good morning from Texas
Morning!
why don't you release the straw at the back like the combine is designed to do?
On this occasion the property owner wanted to bale the straw and chaff👍😁
yes, I understand that. but on our New Holland combine we just flip a lever on the right side so the straw doesn't fall into the choper but out on top of the plate at the back.
is it to mix the straw and chaff?
hey up mate who provides the fire control when doing that contract work, good job on that 22 hours
They had a fire trailer there👍😁
@@thejacksonbrothers hey up youse I was wondering as it wasn't talked about but would guess that in contract work the fire control on your part would be to look after yourself/machines and not be responsible for random fire
@@johngibson3837 I should clarify, we have fire extinguishers on machines and the chaser bin has a 400litre fire fighter on it but the property owner has his fire trailer there as well, if there is a fire everyone pitches in👍😁
@@thejacksonbrothers hey up mate I went wingin just wondering, love your work that youse show and was a g question luv to all ov you
@@johngibson3837 all good mate👍 thanks!
Thanks for sharing hope harvest keeps going good
