    Hi from Canada. Just wanted to say I found your channel about a week ago and I’m really enjoying it. See what I’ve found out is you guys have farmland. I was under the impression from movies that it was all just the outback and desert with a couple of cities. Nice drone work where you can see the countryside. All the best with the rest of harvest. Cheers

    As a road train driver, first time I had anything to do with barley...The day went well, pulled up to the silos at the end of the day, grabbed my kit and headed over to the amenities block to have a shower, only to find the day staff had locked them and I spent the worst night of my life with the barley itch......

    The way Peter threw that shovel out of the truck bed I am fairly certain he wanted to throw it a lot further than that....perhaps even for an Olympic record 🤣.....as for picking up the crops off the ground I think that goes by name.....so Bradley picks up Barley and Phillip picks up Pulse Crops.....I do not think there is an M crop 😁......nice to see the custom harvest for neighbors that is just straight income and earned from the hard work of having a quality crew and well maintained machines with skilled operators 😀

  • @unraisinable
    @unraisinable 10 месяцев назад

    Didn't those machines come equipped to discharge the straw over the top of the chopper tailboard from the PSD belt? or is that not a common option down there? With our CR there are 2 levers that move two doors to let the straw bypass the chopper over the top.

      Even getting bales undercover is a satisfying time, whether it be straw or Lucern it is still something you don't have to buy for your stock but can sell it if needed, either way it is money you're not borrowing from the bank.

    The risk to reward on loading the bins from the header on the fly seems interesting to a nitwit like myself. Fair enough when you’re also rowing it for the neighbours to bail it, but still the risk of damage to the header would be catastrophic at harvest time, please enlighten this fool on the topic. Cheers lads.

    • @thejacksonbrothers
      @thejacksonbrothers  10 месяцев назад +1

      Good question!, very rarely is there an incident but extreme care needs to be taken, chasing on the run can increase harvest productivity by over 20% as you don’t have to stop and unload for a few minutes every 15 minutes👍😁

    • @thejacksonbrothers
