It would be wonderful if you could do an episode that explains the types of grain, What they look like, what they are used for, why each one is different to harvest, why do you plant so many different types, how the harvester is prepared to tackle each type, and any other details. I love the the Harvest and now I would love to see some details
Another excellent video ,i really like the drone shots ,as not only very well done but gives a sense of of peace and the size of your paddocks. Also that the whole family works so well together and that sadly if often not the case these days
Matt, you Phil and Brad .. along with Jd and the rest of the crew under the Guidance of Peter.. a.k.a the boss .. are doing a great job .. cudo's to you all and families for putting up with all involved,Love the content both production wise and all up help wise around the Farm.s no greater love or spirit can compare ...
That’s some excellent aerial footage. Matt you’re pretty good at operating that drone. You guys operate like a finely tuned machine. I like how you all do a lot of preventive maintenance on your machines, it definitely proves to be effective when you’re under the gun and pushing a lot of crops through them. I have similar beliefs… fix them when they’re not needed so your not caught fixing them when they are needed. Lol. I also like how you all take pride in your work. Except that ignition switch! Lol just kidding!! I’ve done that very same thing before. Lol have a wonderful day, and thank you for sharing. This is my favorite channel on RUclips.
You guy’s are doing a great job of get’n er done nice work ! Get better soon all its no fun with everyone getting sick . Loved the drone flight Matt thanks.
Handy tip for dumping into swing away augers, back up the the end not the side. the grain flows into the auger better and quicker with less splash back
Personally I think it would be a good idea to get the marker pen out and mark those bins 1 to 4 before there is a cockup 😂😂I had a ignition switch like that for a while keys are over rated 😂
Glad harvest has gone off with very few issues. Hopefully those fires stay well away, they always give me the runs & I'm over the ditch so not as close.
Hey Matt I fergot to ask you after the harvest do your family have end of year party to celebrate the harvest if you do can you post some so we can see all the Families cheers by the way your dad is areal cool dad hope you are proud of him 👍👍🙏😀😀😀
Great drone footage and the super Solomon was impressive. No moisture problems at Moree area this year. We got 28 mm out of that stormy weather in early November which was a nice follow up from the last one. So now I assume the marketing starts. Holding over 12 months of organic wheat seems unusual. How do you manage the insect issuer in organic wheat?
Great stuff again mate! Can you please explain a couple of things.... (for the dum dum's like me) when you put the auger up onto the top of the silo, do you have to climb up there and open the hatch or is there a cable/pulley system to open it ? Also, do you have to clean out the augers before using a different product through it? Thanks
Thanks! I use epidemic sound and try to pick more relaxing songs so people can enjoy them rather then the rock stuff, I use a lot by Will Harrison and Joyspring👍😁
Matt, you and the family should have been in lockdown/ quarantine so pops and the rest wouldn’t have got crook. And you wouldn’t be up to your ankles in snotty tissues 🤧🤧🤧😷.👍🏴
Okay this might sound stupid but I've been around and in farming along time but I've never farmed Lent seed. Is that a type of Oats or Barley or something? Just carouses is why I'm asking. we don't have that over her in the states that much.
@@thejacksonbrothers Thank you.😊😊 I Do really enjoy your farming videos. Wonderful landscapes captured with the drone. 🌟🌟All good. Congratulations with your farming personnel & cereals' production.

Hello Peter 👋
Love the intro Matt.
Awesome drone footage Matt
Great video Matt
New knifes and guards was a good idea for linseed no more clogging in headers

this year seems to be going really well all that off season work on the machines is paying off
Hope you all recover from the flu. Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome Guy's..
Just Awesome...😊
G'day mates
Great drone footage, years since we have grown linseed, doesn't peak up much.
Awesome guys take care can't wait for the next video cheers
I like the view a lot - thanks for sharing :)
I think that switch is from when you had to borrow a Kingswood.
Have a good harvest season! From Québec Canada!
Good morning from Texas
Good flying. In-between the auger & the comb.
Fantastic footage there Matt
Great drone shots and editing again Matt, nothing better than harvest on a sunny day
Good job guys

Hope Peter getting better, for a start I thought the crop must have been real bad and Pete had a tear or two lol😂

absolutely although we usually just do whatever way is a less lean for the truck👍😁
As always great content! 😀
Going over the contours with the headers looks like a good way to cost some dollars if you're not on the ball

Although your fields/paddocks are so big nice to see so many trees around the place. Hope you all recover from the colds/flu quickly

I bet that new device for a key on the orger tractor will be like that for ever 😂 it would be for me 👌
Still haven’t fit the new one😂😂

We have been keeping a close eye on the bugs and keeping them grain temp down with the aerators helps a lot👍😁
🎸 , Ask the Jackson's, Ask the Jackson's, Ask the Jackson Brother -----------rrrsss, 🎸, Cheers ❤🦘🦘🤠🇦🇺
Well done guys you deserve a relitively stress free harvest . How did the new addjustable header work out
Top notch👌
You better interpret for our overseas viewers Matt. “ Tucker”
grub tucker =food
Called snap in Yorkshire

Thanks mate, most lids are operated from the ground and we usually open the trap door and reverse the auger and run it to clean it out👍😁
How many bushels are them big grain carts dang that big one is a monster I was guessing it was probably 2500 to 3500 bushels
The big one holds 130ton of wheat so I think that’s 4800 bushels👍😁
Sad tissues or happy tissues? 😂
Matt I like the music you play with your videos,is that ur choice and who is it

What sort of speed is the drone doing when flying? Hope everyone near the fires are okay 👍🏻🏴
This one will do about 75km/h but I generally don’t go that fast while filming👍

Hi! Linseed is an oilseed crop, it’s pretty much the same thing as flax👍😁
45 to 50 foot header front? Anyways, they look wide!👌
One is 45 and the other 42👍😁

Hey Matt,
How many ton does the big mother bin hold ?
130t👍
@@thejacksonbrothers that’s a lot of grain, the tractor must have some torque to pull it.
