    Totally agree with you about bringing pets! Even if you get your dog there for a good price, there’s no guarantee you’ll get them back home for a good price. Just look at how many pets get left there due to unforeseen circumstances.

    About the animals, you don’t have to pay for them if you are command sponsor because that means you can go with the whole family. The only way they don’t let you bring your animals is if they are old meaning that they don’t allow them to flight for so many hours. I’m so confused about w, so many info in this video, being a military wife and being overseas already some info is confusing specially for those new ladies in the military

    thank you so much for your support / devotion. without US army, South Korea should be in trouble all the time. I did serve my military service as a Katusa soldier back in 1999 in 2nd ID TDC. God bless you and your family!! Let's go together!!!!

    Can your military spouse live on base with you in South Korea?

    Driving in Korea, even in Seoul, is nothing like NYC, and I can tell you this as someone who LIVED in NYC and Seoul. There actually are rules and most Koreans follow them. I don't know how many times you've driven in Korea, but you're exaggerating way too much. I gotta say, though, as a pedestrian, crossing a crosswalk without a sign is much more challenging in Korea than in the US because there's no stop sign. Cars don't yield to pedestrians. But if you're a driver yourself, then driving isn't that bad. I'd compare driving in Korea to driving in New Jersey along Route 1, which is not a pleasant place to drive and drivers tend to be quite aggressive. But it's NOTHING like there are no rules. You're talking as if you're driving in China or Vietnam. lol.

    My wife and I may be PCSing to South Korea. If we did take our dog, are there services like Rover? Is it easy to find a dog sitter there ?

      Hey Emilio! Sorry for the late reply on this, but there are definitely people who dog sit there. We did not take our dog to Korea with us so I don't know firsthand but I do remember seeing services offered like this from other military spouses on the Camp Humphreys Facebook pages.

      Unless you get ETP signed by a COL

    • @growingwithgriffith
      @growingwithgriffith  2 года назад +1

      That is not true for officers. We were allowed a vehicle without an ETP. For enlisted, no vehicles.
