Emily got 1 unique boss fight that Edward doesn't, the monster that also appears during the Grace alone in the dark demo.
Alone in the Dark all endings are currentæy glitched. You cant join the cult or submit to dark man.

I'm sad I can't save most of them, well... it is a Lovecraftian story, but even still I hope to save the siblings at least.
4 people survive, I doubt the sequel would keep the uncle alive, And Grace may have a playable section like she did in this Remake's Grace in the Dark.
What do you need to do for join the cult trophy? I gave something to the tree as Edward , and it says wait for the tree to call but nothing happens before the end of the game?
I was wondering that, too. You can't do it as Emily at all. It's specifically Edward that offers something to the tree.

Not watching to avoid spoilers, just want to know if there are any player death animations(ie grabbed, dismembered, devoured) from any of the bosses or elite enemies. Sorry for the bizarre question 😆 Thnx

Not really, but there is one death animation for when you first meet The Dark Man. I think it's only for Edward, but he shoots himself.
