So happy for a new video! Can I say that I just love your appartment, your editing (!!!), your approach and you. When i see the typical 20- or 30 something youtuber mommies in their greige mansions cleaning clean houses,thats just not for me and so far away from my reality, they seem so alien to me. Also love your appartment and what you are doing with it.

Its just the best feeling, making it the best you can for yourself despite the constrains. Carla I have to say you have honestly inspired me and continue to motivate me to do better for myself. Taking care and attention of my space really snowballs to other aspects of living. I fell into a slump for a long while and am so happy to be everyday doing better and living better. It’s not a perfect journey but I’m here for it. 💛
Hey Jen, people who make their live seem perfect everyday are just not real. Even tiny steps amount to walking up a whole mountain after a while! I really think we should not compare too much to others. Others dont have your problems, are not living your reality. But trying to do a little something, a little better each day (and if one day you cannot do it, take the next day after that), it will change your life eventually, I am sure of that!
Oh my god Carla you are so right with the habit tracker! Getting dressed for the day, even when I'm working from home or weekends was the single best habit Ive changed during COVID. I have noticed such a change in my mental health and the way I take care of my body in general. Your videos are so soothing, love them! ❤️
it makes the biggest difference!! i feel SO much better taking 30 mins to shower and get dressed for the day yet i have to constantly remind myself of this😂

Wow I never thought to have lemon with the calm powder! I will try that next time :) I love the calm I think it really helps balance, I get anxiety and I’ve found it helps. I also have problem sleeping and sleep calm helped so much too. Great video!

My problem is I sometimes get too many notebooks/notepads going and forget what is where. :) I like you a lot better without the bangs. It was fun seeing The Grove, you always hear about it but I've never seen it. The fountain was pretty.

The fact Samson is allowed inside so many places has me so freakin envious! I literally only run errands now on days my dad will sit in the car with my dog BC he cries and gets so upset the whole time I'm gone! I can understand places asking rude dogs to leave just like rude customers, if they're making messes, destroying things, threatening other customers etc, but there is no reason my dog cant walk around with me, he doesn't steal from pet stores so I'm thinking he really wouldn't give two fluffs to steal from the library or Walmart...
i think it's an l.a. thing. people bring their pets everywhere! we pass pet smart on our walk ...i let him go in and sniff around sometimes ....he was so trying to steal one of the bones they had out on display!! sneaky and smart😂
literally thought you cut your hair.. the way the sun falls on you when you are driving around made it look like you cut your hair... and it looks good, you should consider it
I used to be like that with mail as well and I'm not going to lie there's still part of me that is still like that what I have done though is I put a trash can at the entrance of my home so now when I check the mail I don't take all the mail into my house I stop there and I throw away what I can I also have a white out sponge and I white out my name and then I take my mail out of all the envelopes to feel less overwhelmed and put it in a little basket by my fridge and then once a week I go through that I also love your notes how each thing has its own page 💡

it is a canadian thing that you write a cheque not a check? Like there's a checkmark and checkmate in chess. BTW love how approachable your habit trackers are! You emphasize that it's not about making things perfect but getting it set up and done. I tend to be a perfectionist and there's a huge aspect of that for whereby I procrastinate until I can excecute it perfectly. Thank you for reminding me it's progress and not perfection :)
Whilst Samson was barking his head off, all I could notice is how the light gave the illusion that you had a chopped long bob and how cute it looked! If the bangs don't work out, maybe that can be your next hair experiment!

I like your habit tracker! I'm also a 'pen & paper' gal and a list maker (as opposed to a planner) I have all but one bill on 'autopay' (because the company still takes checks! I had to order checks lol!) Now, 90% of my mail is credit card offers and sales flyers (junk!) I don't even bring it into the house!
love a good list! i have to pay my rent by check every month and a handful of things for my dad but looking forward to mail being close to nothing and catching up on all my paper piles!!

I like your habit tracker! I'm also a 'pen & paper' gal and a list maker (as opposed to a planner) I have all but one bill on 'autopay' (because the company still takes checks! I had to order checks lol!) Now, 90% of my mail is credit card offers and sales flyers (junk!) I don't even bring it into the house!
love a good list! i have to pay my rent by check every month and a handful of things for my dad but looking forward to mail being close to nothing and catching up on all my paper piles!!

Girl!!! I did the "curtain bangs" i use quotes because Mine are a hot mess. I was like.. What did I do? lol. I need to get them cleaned up by my hair dresser. i was just wanting a change like 8 months ago.
