I’m sitting here boo-hoo crying. I don’t know how this channel popped up on my feed but I’m telling you this show is so needed, I absolutely love it. I hope you have many more seasons to come because we need this so badly, thank you. ❤
Old school parenting is why a lot of adults traumatize their kids now with a bunch of “tough love” aka abuse. Either it’s physically, emotionally, mentally- weird asl. Old school is the reason “children are seen and not heard” phrase was even created. Ridiculous behavior, the disrespect and expecting respect is ridiculous. - That grandma gonna be mad where she end up- in a nursing home 😂
Facts. I hated that my parents treated me as if I didn’t have a say or voice anything im glad i always stood my ground im not accepting nobody’s bs😂 27:49
As a great grandma now I completely agree with you. ❤️ I raised my son with unconditional love and acceptance, treated him respectfully from baby age, and listened to his heart always. ♥ He is now a fantastic husband and father.
Too many people do not understand that children are humans. Doesn't matter their age, they are humans. They need guidance not abuse. You wouldn't treat an adult the way most people treat their kids.
So where do you learn who to respect? And what that looks like? And when you step out of line what does correction look like? What yall don't want to admit is that there is a time and place for everything, and that NOBODY gives a damn about what makes you as an individual uncomfortable if you disregard the comfort of everyone else. That's respect.
The grandmother and granddaughter portion is a triggering for ME! I gotta heal more of my inner child after watching this! I only finished it because I wanted to watch all of the episodes. We have to fix this within our culture frfr. I'm 38 years old and after this I feel like a child.😢
My mother is similar to the grandma so this was triggering for me as well, it took me 4/5 years to completely heal my inner child. I’m 32. Its hard but possible ❤
the grandmother in the second clip was the issue. she was disgusting and disrespectful to that girl. when the girl came out i was expecting to see someone wild and ridiculous, and she was well spoken and smart and polite. the grandmother wants to control her and thinks it’s always supposed to be “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am” and nothing else. and she was even disrespectful to her daughter, that girl passed and shes still slandering her name. well hell she won’t even SAY her daughters name. granny got issues and it ain’t the grandchild
The situation with the grandmother and her grand-daughter, the young boy with the sister with the afro, and the two girls where one had a job: all these scenarios really show how parents and parental guardians really often ignore how much impact they have on their children. Most children need attention, nuturing, and quality time together. I really hope the best for these children. My heart also goes out for the brother who brought his sister.
Or she felt safe enough to finally cry, because if grandmother is she truly old skool “you better stop that crying before I give you something to cry about”.
For the first mother and daughter I have notice in the school system sometimes teachers will single out the kids that have had disciplinary issues and even sometimes antagonize them or provoke the child because they already see them as “bad” Also see needs to be challenged in her classes to prevent boredom
Christina with the 2 teen girls was a young mom and that’s part of it. She had to grow up early and expects her daughters too. I cried with this story because I think they family issues can change.
The grandma part was so fucking triggering because I understand where the granddaughter is coming from. Respect goes both fucking ways. Explaining yourself isn't being “disrespectful”. People take it disrespectfully because they refuse To accept that they may be wrong.
That part!!! She was so biggety and disrespectful. Who gonna respect you when you calling her bitches and talking down to her..come on grandma you got to do better.
i understand how the granddaughter feels you can hear from the cracks in her voice that she really is in pain. the grandmother isn't "overprotective" she's just being hurtful and unfair to her granddaughter and its so annoying to know that even tho the grandmother apologized, behind scenes she'll continue.
the grandma: "I always give her time to talk and never talk over her." also the grandma: "NO- no no, that's not what happened, she's wrong." literally cutting her off the whole time💀
U can see it in her face the drugs is sucking her dry the sister needs take the son away I was happy wen she said he can come wit me 😢cuz oh lord this lil boy needs help
With troy i was fighting back tears the whole time, i couldn't look at the mom cuz all I saw was the damage and the darkness from the drugs and the past. God bless his sister, that's a woman every brother needs... One that i need.
After hearing the 14 year olds childhood I can't really blame her for all she did . She tries to move on but really its hard to leave all the trauma after what happened to her
I love the fact that Karamo always ask the children when they come out. “Can I give you a hug”. He’s an amazing host and he is very compassionate towards every guest.
J has a stress or anxiety condition. She just ripping her hair out. 1:13:51 I also think shes having an identity crisis that could be contributing to that stress. Im glad she agreed to talk to someone. She was really the one that worried me the most since she's already in a gang and thinking the wnba wants gang members on their teams. Her compass is just spinning out & i hope she gets help.
I think there’s more going on. I think Something crazy happened to her in the group home. The way her brother was giving mum the side eye when she was speaking. He knows what’s going on but isn’t going to push his sister under the bus. I pray they get the help and support they need!
That grandma has some DEEP issues that she is too scared to deal with and it hurts her self worth, so picking apart her grand daughter makes her feel better about herself. She is a reminder of the failure she did with her own daughter. She needs to love her grandma but seriously out grow her, and love from afar.
@@Mzlamannuelwe are the teachers, we can’t just call them wild when is her were here before them are responsible for them. I do agree, they are different, but this grandmas behavior is unacceptable. Children are still people. That’s what people seem to not understand.

I can tell by the mom’s appearance and jawline grinding that she is on drugs. I dealt with it with my own mom from 11-35 years old. Things were hard and things were said that still hurt me to this day. I lost her in January of this year but before she left I asked her to forgive me because I forgive her… with no apologies ever given to me. I pray for this family to heal and the mom to leave those drugs alone because if she don’t it will lead to health issues that will take her away permanently 😢

I feel bad for the mom with the girl that wants to be in the wnba and her brother. Lots of discussion about the grandma but not much about this family. Maybe because these kids were quiet but I fear for their lives. The daughter is in a gang, on house arrest, in and out of jail. I pray they survive. I hope the mom gets the help she needs.
That grandmother resents the fact her daughter didn’t listen to her and through that process ended up passing away. She is still mad at her daughter but since she isn’t here she takes it out on her granddaughter for things her daughter did.

She's not using coke. Anyone who grew up in the hood knows that's a CRACKHEAD!
Right he needs so much love it hurts 😢. He is so sweet and just lashing out
The trauma of losing her daughter is coming off on her granddaughter the grandmother thinks her child speaking her mind is disrespectful when it’s not
I’m sitting here boo-hoo crying. I don’t know how this channel popped up on my feed but I’m telling you this show is so needed, I absolutely love it. I hope you have many more seasons to come because we need this so badly, thank you. ❤
Amen
karamo is definitely an empath.. the way he picks up on energies. We love you Karamo the way he handles situations. It's beautiful.
Its hard to watch Karamo Show without having to shed a TEAR!
That grandma gonna be mad where she end up- in a nursing home 😂
Facts. I hated that my parents treated me as if I didn’t have a say or voice anything im glad i always stood my ground im not accepting nobody’s bs😂 27:49
As a great grandma now I completely agree with you. ❤️
I raised my son with unconditional love and acceptance, treated him respectfully from baby age, and listened to his heart always. ♥
He is now a fantastic husband and father.
Too many people do not understand that children are humans. Doesn't matter their age, they are humans. They need guidance not abuse. You wouldn't treat an adult the way most people treat their kids.
@@GypsyGirl317We need WAYY more parents like you ! thank you for being the best mother ever!
I’m 23 and feel the same
And she look just like her mama
I'm 38 as well, and I totally understand where you're coming from.
I'm 23 trying to understand what is going on with this first video of the young lady frfr.
And it seem like she thinks it cute. I hate a “I’m the parent” excuse
J is struggling internally. I pray she gets out of the gang.
He's the best talks show mediator I have seen. Not one sided. Just facts
The family needs to go to church and pray together much 💕
Yes I love how he calls everyone out on their sh*t, no sides taken.
Troys big sister is amazing
The granddaughter started crying immediately, and that’s crazy.
She is in pain😢cz she cnt express her self to grandma
Or she felt safe enough to finally cry, because if grandmother is she truly old skool “you better stop that crying before I give you something to cry about”.
This child has more common sense then her grandmother! She's going to push her away and down a dark road! This Grandmother needs counseling.
For the first mother and daughter I have notice in the school system sometimes teachers will single out the kids that have had disciplinary issues and even sometimes antagonize them or provoke the child because they already see them as “bad”
Also see needs to be challenged in her classes to prevent boredom
Christina with the 2 teen girls was a young mom and that’s part of it. She had to grow up early and expects her daughters too. I cried with this story because I think they family issues can change.
The grandma part was so fucking triggering because I understand where the granddaughter is coming from. Respect goes both fucking ways. Explaining yourself isn't being “disrespectful”. People take it disrespectfully because they refuse
To accept that they may be wrong.
That part!!! She was so biggety and disrespectful. Who gonna respect you when you calling her bitches and talking down to her..come on grandma you got to do better.
I am also soooo triggered. I went through this same type mess! Respect goes BOTH ways!!! They love to throw the word disrespectful around. Smh
i understand how the granddaughter feels you can hear from the cracks in her voice that she really is in pain. the grandmother isn't "overprotective" she's just being hurtful and unfair to her granddaughter and its so annoying to know that even tho the grandmother apologized, behind scenes she'll continue.
Karamo has a way with getting through to people. He actually takes his time to listen and have excellent feedback. I love his show ❤
the grandma: "I always give her time to talk and never talk over her."
also the grandma: "NO- no no, that's not what happened, she's wrong."
literally cutting her off the whole time💀
My heart goes out to these children. They are all so beautiful. I pray the beast for them.
We knew Ki’a & Troy’s mama would be positive with the signs and behaviors she’s displayed in front of her son and who she’s around.
Why she lied and agreed 2 the test is beyond me knowing that she was gonna fail it
U can see it in her face the drugs is sucking her dry the sister needs take the son away I was happy wen she said he can come wit me 😢cuz oh lord this lil boy needs help
@@englishtea3291I wonder why the boy wasn't already there when they all knew this mess had been going on, reason they're there.
Sis got her Angela Davis going on ❤ respect for you stepping up for your brother💯💯
With troy i was fighting back tears the whole time, i couldn't look at the mom cuz all I saw was the damage and the darkness from the drugs and the past. God bless his sister, that's a woman every brother needs... One that i need.
I don’t know a lot about Karamo’s background but he would make a GREAT therapist!!! Love him!
@@MissRichardsonWrites he is ❤ both psychotherapist and social worker..love him as well..
Some times too much tough love can drive your kids away. That's why rational conversation is so important. Fear does not solve everything.
After hearing the 14 year olds childhood I can't really blame her for all she did . She tries to move on but really its hard to leave all the trauma after what happened to her
The handsome young man Troy hurt my heart. Myself having 3 boys that was his age. I just want to hug him ❤
I love the fact that Karamo always ask the children when they come out. “Can I give you a hug”. He’s an amazing host and he is very compassionate towards every guest.
J has a stress or anxiety condition. She just ripping her hair out. 1:13:51
I also think shes having an identity crisis that could be contributing to that stress. Im glad she agreed to talk to someone.
She was really the one that worried me the most since she's already in a gang and thinking the wnba wants gang members on their teams. Her compass is just spinning out & i hope she gets help.
She ain’t ripping it she’s twisting it but it’s still anxiety
I think there’s more going on. I think
Something crazy happened to her in the group home.
She needs to love her grandma but seriously out grow her, and love from afar.
everytime zaniah talked & her gma kept trying to interrupt her i was just kept yelling “ stfupppppp “
the grandmother is the worst, i hope she gets far away as soon as she can
Yes she needs to get away from her the grandmother is toxic
I agree with the grandmother. This generation of young people are thee worst. There's a different between beating and discipline.
A lot of parents and grandparents are just like her. Selfish and one sided
@@Mzlamannuelwe are the teachers, we can’t just call them wild when is her were here before them are responsible for them. I do agree, they are different, but this grandmas behavior is unacceptable. Children are still people. That’s what people seem to not understand.
The daughter in the 1st clip was so beautiful and chocolate. Her hair was slayed. Her nails were cute too. She was very well put together. Go girl.
I just feel like the grandma is very terrified of history repeating its self.
The grandmother is taking out the resentment she feels against her daughter on her granddaughter. Poor baby girl. It's not her fault.
Ong I just got on this part and she already talking bout her dating is bad and rude
Coloring books 😮.... Grandma is set in her ways, she stuck in past ...i hope this young lady gets far away
Yes, she will need to get away and set those boundaries!!!!
I WISH HER SOBRIETY AND HER FAMILY MORE STABILITY AND KUDOS TO HIS BIG SISTER💪🏾✊🏾
the switch up from melanies audience is crazy… aint nobody wanted to feel bad and sympathetic until she straight up said the bad shit. she deserve better
Nah fr
This shows intense holy it's like I am sitting in a real life counseling therapy session and seeing results this guy's good I'm good that you're bringing family together
The mom said "i just found out he was the father". Let that sink in!
Wow pure little girl, the grandnother is projecting so much on her. Please Girl, stay strong, I admire your STRENGHT, YOUR RESPECT, wow kuddos to you, YOUR INTELLIGENCE, Your EMPATHY, YOUR BEAUTY AND SO MUCH MORE
The brother just spaced out while they talking always had his head down 😢
I do hate to judge, but when I look at the parents of these children… it all makes sense.
This man is one of the most intelligent and well educated man who has the heart of a lion and the voice and manner of a person full of love for his fellows. He is FAIR to ALL and displays kindness goodwill to ALL (GOOD AND BAD) in his show!!!!! BRAVO this is therapy for all watching. 36:27
WOW MY SON IS 42 U ARE DOING AMAZING FOR OUR COMMUNITY. TY YOUNG KING WE NEED MORE LIKE U👍🏾✍🏾🧠💪🏾✊🏾👊🏾
Troy is a sweet hearted kid, who’s UNFKNG-FIT, coke goblin of a mammy manipulated him badly in her desperation to stay young. HE NEEDS IMMEDIATE HELP, and I’m so glad his beautiful sister is there with him. Luther sounds like a broke piimp,;who’s back would be snapped for touching MINEZ.
I was so confused..going to watch the beginning again. I thought the mother was taking care of the daughter's child and married her child's father😮. I hope big sister takes custody of him...her little brother is borderline depressed/disassociating. They all need more of Karamo - more counseling...
This is a great show helping people’s lives change for the better. Our younger generation need help in the smallest ways, it makes a difference. Great show
Melanie is only 14. Wow! 😮
Erickson needed a hug too!
I love their accents!!!
felt the daughters w the "help my mom love us louder"
Heart broke for shorty with her grandma, went thru the same with my mom… to be unheard & viewed as someone you dont have to respect.
I relate
This is a beautiful young lady who is very respectful and very smart. She doing well in school. I can see her determination on better herself to be more than her mom and dad. Grandma please come to her a little softer and caring, that’s what she is trying to get from you. She loves you so much. ❤
The second show with the boy who bring the gun to school I can see that he wants to cry but is trying to stay strong
Karamo definitely deserves an Emmy for his show. He's truly outstanding!
Thank u ugh I’m glad I found this comment I just said this no one is talking about about this family
That grandmother resents the fact her daughter didn’t listen to her and through that process ended up passing away. She is still mad at her daughter but since she isn’t here she takes it out on her granddaughter for things her daughter did.
Man! The daughter is so protective of her mother! Mom be a mother & let them be children! Protect them!
The little girl Zaniyah is very smart I knew the moment she started talking and expressing her feelings she knew exactly how to say it and I believed every word she said , THE GRANDMA IS THE PROBLEM this child is about to be 18 u better hope u treat her right and don’t ever need her to wipe your behind cause that’s wrong
I applaud Karamo show, the best healing show for the community family issue, this show is another level, respect 🙏🙏
