Because having a mostly friendly film, like Toy Story, with a PG rating is a bad excuse for “kids being timid idiots” when we’ve seen PG rated films, like Coraline and Puss and Boots The Last Wish, that are darker and more mature than the ones in the late 2000s and 2010s. Besides, we haven’t seen G rated live action films besides Wizard of Oz.
