AR15 // Upgrades for the Bushmaster Carbon 15

I Install some budget upgrades on my mil-spec Bushmaster carbon 15. This gun is a great entry level ar15 but it leaves some to be desired. I upgrade a few parts that are budget friendly and change this gun for the better. These upgrades are easy to do and wont break the bank.

I've been looking at a Tennessee Arms carbon fiber lower. I think it's really similar to the old Carbon 15. Hopefully it's built like that one you've got.

For me, all the carbon 15 needed was some new furniture. 100% better now!
I’ve had 100% reliability with my Carbon 15 as well.

I bought a few parts from Primary Arms to fit my bushmaster for some great prices and fits my QRC fine and looks good for a cheap woods gun

I bought a carbon 15 back in 2011/2012 and put close to 10k rounds through it. This was the $4 a box of tula days😂. After about 5k rounds the upper melted and i replaced it with a yhm. 3 or4 years ago i put the barrel in an ar556 and it is still accurate enough for plinking in the backyard

I put magpul M.O.E. furniture on mine, the same vortex scope with a raptor charging handle and palmeto trigger upgrade

Awesome! For some reason my stock optic is precise i’ve been hitting targets like crazy but the battery cover keeps popping out! I hate to replace the optic sight but i’d like to have something that doesn’t fall apart lol

How many rounds have you put through it? Any cracks in the lower reciever?

Probably a few thousand rounds, no issues
