Lot of game winning buzzer beaters today ( Arizona State also stuns rival Arizona at the buzzer)
I am from AZ but lived in Tallahassee for 13 years and earned an MPH from FSU. I also have master's degrees from Arizona and Arizona State. I was rooting for U of A - but that game was close in the first and 2nd half with many lead changes. By contrast, FSU coming back from 25 points at the U IN CORAL GABLES has got to be monstrously bad for the Canes. I went to many games at the U when I worked in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami. It eclipses the Wide Right losses by FSU in the 90s and 2000s. At least U of A versus ASU was close. Curiously, if ASU and FSU win games like that on their hated rival's court, then why can't they win other games in conference like that and get into the NCAA tournament? Such teams seem half-heartedly content with "win a major upset against the rival" but don't really care about beating other conference teams like that. Hence, they get on the bubble or left out.

Miller gets a corner 3 and starts celebrating; then has to transition post celebration where he proceeds to get rekt by a game-winning 3. Dude checked out mentally for a moment for a little crowd moxie and it contributed, in my opinion, in part to this loss. Dude, play to the whistle. I went to a game at the U long ago when they played FSU in Coral Gables. At the time, I became ultra-aware that the rivalry extends deeply into basketball. FSU won by three points, but at the buzzer the Miami guy launched a shot of about 60 feet or so from the other end of the court. It bounced off the rim and almost went in with time out. The FSU-Miami rivalry is not just in football - lol. I recall the power forward from the basketball team at the U was also on the football team.
Go Noles also the basketball sucks this year and the baseball team is off to a great start which means that our football will be really good especially coming off a 10 win season it’s Natty or bust baby ! In Norvell We Trust !
