Good morning Christine. Thank you for your message at the JMM Love Life Women's Conference. Your openness about your adoption is helping me to have an even closer relationship with God. I was given up at birth and adopted at 9 mo old. My records are sealed. I am very thankful to have awesome, loving adoptive parents, but I've always struggled with feeling rejected, not good enough, and abandoned. I also have major trust issues because of this. You are an inspiration. Your love for God and the presence of the Holy Spirit are obvious in all of your sermons. Thank GOD, and thank YOU for helping me, and so many others that feel shame and abandonment. I finally feel completely accepted and worthy of God's love, and am learning to love myself through HIS word. My connection to God fulfills every area where I've felt insufficient. Jesus, when pressured to pick a commandment that was the most important, “37Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22: 37-40 Yahweh (YHVH) through Yeshua (Jesus) helps us see He is not so much a taskmaster, but a kind Father who allows us to grow in Love in order to bear the fruit He wants to see as His children.

No doubt, you are in the center of God’s will. Can I offer one small piece of feedback? Nervous energy is good when channeled in the right direction. I would challenge you to take a look at this video and count the times you clapped your hands. This is that nervous energy I mentioned. It can distract listeners. Slow down slightly, and use the energy to hold your Bible or naturally gesture instead. Quick credential check: I had a 26 year career teaching leaders how to be successful, professional speakers and corporate instructors. Many were able to use these skills to achieve executive careers they were after with skills learned in my classes. My comments here are sent with love and gratitude for all you do!
