So many people were underwhelmed by these, but they're my absolute favorite blushes. For me they're very long lasting - even when putting a mask on top of them. They look as fresh at the end of the day as they did when I first put them on in the morning. But I understand the criticism regarding the price point. The colors are so beautiful, it's a shame not everyone has had the same experience I have had.
Loved this video as you could tell you didn't like the blushes as you were putting them on as you had zero reaction. Also nice to see you not like something. Was getting worried you were turning into one of those love everything channels, when in the past I have loved your honesty.

There’s a reason I keep coming back to Michele’s channel for her total honesty, whether it be high end or low end, PR or purchase, she gives her honest thoughts on a product. I personally find that Hermès makeup, the few they’ve come out with are mediocre at best. It’s the case of “stick to what you know”. Thanks Michele for always keeping it 💯

I actually find that the one color per cheek usually helps me to see the difference between certain blush shades, since these especially are very similar in tone. So thank you for that!
I think no matter your level of love for luxury, it’s going to be a hard sell to drop $70+ on a single blush. Even the longest-lasting formula is still, at the end of the day, a blush. I’d prefer to invest that type of coin into actual skincare products, I think, which will have a more long-term impact on my appearance than a single blush. 😊

I get what you're saying but skincare these days can be so expensive and it can almost always be duped for cheaper products. The same can be said for blush and makeup or course but atleast with powder products it lasts for a long time.

The blushes are among my favorite formulas I’ve ever used. I love them!
The eye makeup really enhanced the look of the blushes for me. Could really see the difference when the brush was changed. Looked gorgeus either way.
I only have the Rose Pommette and it’s a beautiful color. I felt the brushes at the boutique and passed on both because they felt coarse to me. Once you’ve done Fude it’s hard to go back. I used my Fude mini koyudo kabuki brush and it applied beautifully. The brush you use makes a huge difference- smoother application and no kick up.
Hi Michele I just bought the science to the blushes on my channel today it’s so funny you spoke of the fragrance. So the fragrance in the product is Arnica, sandalwood and green tea… the reason why scientists use fragrance often it is to mask the pungent smell of other ingredients that would be offensive to the consumer.
They have chosen to use those particular ingredients that more natural and they work as anti-inflammatories.
Sandlewood as an oil or in powder form is a really great an anti-inflammatory. These ingredients were put in there to make sure that women don’t have breakouts or aren’t uncomfortable using the product.
… I think their main goal is to really put in skin loving ingredients in the blushes abs lip enhancer because Jerome is a huge proponent of meeting the contemporary woman’s needs of today with trying to incorporate skin loving ingredients in makeup.
It was obvious right away that the blush went on better with the Chikuhodo brush. What a poor performance from Hermes- they could've so easily had a stellar brush made, but no; looks oretty though. On your previous recommendations I purchased the Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation and I have to tell you I love it. I also purchased the Manifashi Moisture Loose Powder and I like it just. a little bit more than the By Terry! Didn't think that was possible. Could you do a review of the Surrat make up line? I would love to try the Dew Drop foundation but have no idea of my shade, a review of the new liquid blush, etc. I just love you and your channel. So fun. Thank you for all the hard work you put in on our behalf!
As you will discover, these are not really refillable they’re glued and not magnetized so it’s quite tricky getting them out! Quite disappointing for such an expensive luxury product. 😎🎶❤️

I bought the blush brush, two of the blushes and a lip balm. Personally I love them all. I knew from the beginning of this video that you didn't care much for them which is fine. Not everyone likes the same things. I've tried products that some RUclipsrs raved about and was disappointed.
Hermes did these on the cheap! Cheap plastic packaging with a good design but did not even come with a linen sleeve like their lipsticks. Formula nice but not $77 nice. All this with a scratchy but good looking brush from the most luxurious brand in the world! Is it fair to call this extortion.Thanks for this fair review Michelle, say 'Hi to the Butters' for me. 💗🧡👍P.s. I think that 'La Bouche Rouge' or say 'Westman Atelier' is what Hermes makeup should have been. What a shame!!💛

Unfortunately the “refillable” aspect isn’t accurate because they aren’t magnetic they are glued in. Which kind of defeats the purpose. 🤷♀️

Do they appreciate truth and honesty Yoko? Then I must say, they really shouldn't be focusing every shade in this range to only flatter people of no color. Dark and deep skin deserve the experience as well as deserves the experience of having many options. I'm very disappointed, It needs to be said.
When will there be luxury makeup that everybody else doesn't have to 'try to make work' and instead be designed To work, compliment and flatter their faces just as much ?

They don't seem to be worth $77 at all. However, I actually think these blushes look exceptionally beautiful on you. The softer colors look amazing.
Petition to change the M in “MVP” to reference Michele, because that’s completely and utterly what you are. I was really excited to see what you thought about these - not just because they looked so pretty in pan, but also because you’re lowkey the reason why I love blush, causing my wife to constantly yell “you only have two cheeks; why do you need more shades?!” - so I really appreciate you taking the body blow of just a meh product so the rest of us don’t have to get bruised. I think the colour swatches look very natural in spite of all the negative comments.
I got mine today and I must say I love the colour and finishing and I thought it made my skin looking smoother , however they are very expensive, I would certainly liked (and expected really) a heavier case and also why isn’t there a dust bag as for the lipstick??!! 🤔😳

I’m late to this review and just bought Rose Plume no. 28. The one thing I have to say Michele is that every colour on you actually looked natural like it was your own skin. Soft and understated. Very French.

Thank you so much for your honesty! I bought Rose Plume and Rose Ombre and feel the same way. I just don’t love them - I prefer both Chanel and Dior formulas. The colors are pretty but I also don’t care for the scent.
Do you have a favorite from all the blushes you tried? With all the makeup you have, do you remember everyone.... like when you go out, do you know which lipstick or eyeshadow you want to use?
Thank you Michele for this honest review. I prefer a demi matte to matte finish on blushes, is just a personal preference, I'm not big into sparkling shiny cheeks. I do like the look of these colours, they are beautiful however I'm not keen on perfumed blushes. Just why!!!!!
Thank you for your honest review. I’m debating myself, should I get the blusher or not. I did get the same lip enhancer color. I purchased it mainly because of the pink collection. You are right! The packaging might be luxurious but the product is not super excited one.

Hi, Michele. I picked up the Rose Plume blush, the Rose d’ete lip enhancer, and the travel blush brush. Really happy with everything.
I just sent for the blushes in Rose Ombré and Rose Feu, and the rosy enhancing balm in Rose Tan. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased anything from Hermès, so I’m rather excited to add a few items to my makeup collection. I wonder what Pat McGrath would come up with for blushes?
Love the last blush
I have very oily skin and I actually really like the blush (I bought the Rose color) - it has very good staying power on my skin compared to most others. Perhaps it works better on my skin type - I also live in the tropics so most blush disappears in a few hours. So far, so good, thank goodness for me.

I bought Rose Tan. I love the color but that’s the only one I will be buying. Just doesn’t seem worth the money. But glad I have 1. Great video as always 😃
Speaking of laura mercier . I honestly do remember when michele applied the laura mercier blush in grapefruit, her face was glowing! With the hermes blushes i did not see that glow. They were just sitting above the skin and not doing their job for the amount of money paid to them.
I love them. I don’t like over saturation with makeup and it’s SO HARD for brands to do understated well. I particularly like Chanel and Hermes for this. It’s very easy for me to look wildly suntanned or burned with most blushes on the market.

The la mer powder foundation looks amazing like it so natural and like not matte not dewy like glowing disco ball but it is just the nicest natural look amazing

Thank you for the honest assessment. Also disappointing is the flimsy compact - nowhere near as luxe as Gucci’s bronzer and powder compacts. I hope Gucci releases a range of blushes soon - with a cover that complements the turquoise of the bronzer compact and the blush pink of the powder compact - maybe dusty rose, or the floral design on the recently released lip glows.
Thank you for sharing all of the 8 new Hermès blushes. I didn't know they were designed to look like silk, that was a great note to point out! I am debating if I should get Rose Feu, Pommette or the Nuit. I only want one since they have the refills I could potentially get another as a refill.... I am going to pass on the lip balm, I think but I do want to get a lipstick. Now that I have watched your review though I am on the fence.

Oh my, I already order the brush, three of the blushes and the three lipsticks, since I already have Hermès lipsticks and love the formula. Hopefully the blushes will be ok they look very beautiful on you!!

For the price of these, I want the packaging to be weighted, similar to Gucci bronzer packaging. Packaging looks pretty, but the actual component is disappointing. Tara Lynn tapped her nails on it and it sounded like cheap plastic. Chanel blushes are in plastic, but they are also not $70! These blush should be priced similar to Chanel, given the packaging, IMHO. Thanks for your honest review Michele!

Loved your honest review. I totally agree with your comments. I am a luxury lover and packaging get me a lot of the time, however I did not think the packaging or product was worth $77 per blush, especially since they are glued in making refills difficult. 💖
I’m wondering with everyone’s MEH reviews if Hermes is going to take this blush back to the drawing board? Maybe give it a more weighted packaging, and a magnet for the exchange for the refill, maybe even give the brush a better quality hair? As a luxury brand Hermes wants glowing reviews for their brand no matter what they produce and I don’t think they will be happy that ppl are not enjoying these products.
