1967 Vintage Twist N Turn Barbie Commercial

This is the commercial for the vintage twist n turn Barbie Doll. When she first came out, mattel offered a trade in, if girls turned in their #1 Ponytail Barbie, they would get a Twist N Turn Barbie.

I collect vintage Barbies and my first Barbie was an ash blonde twist n' turn. She is my favorite.

I also collect these old Barbies. They were made WAY before I was born but they are much cooler than the ones they make now. At least the clothes the dolls wore were clothes you could actually see a woman wearing. Now the dolls all wear hot pink ruffles and heels.

The darker haired girl was in the episode of of the brady Bunch where Jan wanted a new image and bought the dark wig and wore it to the girls party and she was laughed at.
