Being completely honest, I LOVE new Asking Alexandria…. Dark Void was great, Psycho felt like genre bending and I loved that, and bad blood was a bit all over and I’m all for it. Looking forward to more new songs from themes!!!

I can probably see the demographic for asking Alexandria. It’s definitely way different from what it used to be but i can tell AA now is more radio friendly. It’s something for a demographic that likes popy beats but also radio rock friendly that you can listen too. AA now is mostly for radio rock red necks if you get my drift.
Well that's true for a lot of bands if the drummer is shit then the band will be too, but if the drummer is good like this one then the rest of the band will be good. And honestly you should never fault AA, their last few albums have been professional quality.
I couldn‘t agree less. THIS is exactly what I‘ve been waiting for since Danny‘s return. Self-titled record was really nice, House On Fire had very good song writing but wasn‘t really special beyond that, last album was pretty forgettable, but now they finally break out of the genre standards and make their music special and interesting again like they last did on From Death To Destiny. Bad Blood combines all of the best aspects of AA from recent years and longer into the past while Psycho goes perfectly blends more poppy elements that we didn‘t have in that way yet but we still keep the banger drumming. All written very well. Very happy to have both AA and BMTH at probably the strongest points of their career at the moment 👏
Bad blood is good. Although I like the heavy parts I actually love the 2nd verse the best. Sounds like the 2nd verse to Dear Insanity from R&R. Psycho is good too, only because it's more imaginative than something like Antisocislist. my biggest gripe with Asking as of late was that there was a lack of imagination, but these two singles actually are something new that they haven't done in that way before.

I'm gonna be honest, this band has never really connected with me no matter how many times I've tried, but from what I've heard over the years, I truly wish we could've seen the version of this band where Dennis was still singing. I actually thought that album had something going for it.

The second song feels like a 3 days grace song trying to be a panic at the disco track. Didn't quite hit right but that doesn't mean the song was bad musically.
Chorus in Bad blood is Maroon 5 singing on a blast beat.. It doesn't makes it heavy tho, really sucks And Psycho could literally come from a Maroon 5 album. Nice reference to their "Where dit it go" song btw
i think bad blood has a few cool elements to it that just don't work that well in tandem with each other (blast beat chorus is weird as well) and psycho is just... i wanted it to be over halfway into the first chorus. the lyrical content is severely lacking in both and it feels like they're just throwing random stuff at the wall hoping it sticks.
The chorus on psycho sounds like new Fall Out Boy. It’s also interesting to note in these newer songs, the drummer sounds like he’s trying to go heavy, while the rest of the band is still trying to do butt rock.
The more I hear AA the more I start to dislike Danny's vocals. I respect what they've been doing the last few years with the new sound but its just not good. Its just goofy lyrics and boring chorus then they throw in a breakdown at the end just cuz. I haven't enjoyed anything since self titled honestly. Its like Danny so badly wanted to do country or something and then they met somewhere in the middle to still be "heavy". Their sound feels so mismatched and all over the place. His vocals don't compliment the heaviness in any way.

Bad blood is only amazing single
The second song sounds like they were trying to hard to be trap and pop. It doesn’t work simply because the Melodie’s and the way it was written doesn’t really fit that style.
