@@TrueMentorGuidingMoonlight You can say that the costumes are "fantastically accurate", they definitely look and work a lot better than in the Witcher series but it's nowhere close to being "historically" accurate, and it shouldn't/doesn't have to be since it's a full on fantasy
@@nimai7074 I interpret the difference as, “Do I see people wearing gambesons and actual medieval clothing albeit stylized in feasible colors and trims… or do I see people wearing chainmail bikinis, leather gimpsuit-esque outfits, and other weird fantasy shenanigans?” Just because you are using a fictional world with magic doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate the small details of historically inspired aesthetics. It’s all about how you world-build. And the Witcher 3 did a fantastic (pun not intended) job with giving us the former as well as the latter. I personally preferred it that way, to set the franchise apart from Skyrim, DnD, LOTR, and other medieval fantasies (not that those others are bad, just different). Edit: What I meant to say about the games’ use of pure fantasy aesthetics (i.e. armor and clothes of the nonhuman species and the stylized armors you find throughout the games) was that while they are used, they’re designed to appear practical for the most part. I don’t see completely impractical armor unless say, I see the Wild Hunt or draugirs show up, and those guys are intentionally meant to look otherworldly by comparison to a Temerian soldier.
Wow! Just wow! We got a tribute to the Killing Monsters trailer, the epilogue of the first Witcher game, the fight at Blavilen, HEMA. Not to mention an absolutely sick cover. This video has it all! Utterly amazing!
True swordsmanship (although bet its gonna be excentric and whatnot, witcher style n all), not western fencing cliches that the mainstream media throws at us, cant wait. Curious about the cover too.
Nice. I like how at the end he uses the extra reach of his sword to defeat the enemy, you don't often see that basic but fundamental advantage shown in swordfighting films etc.
Both the song and the short movie are excellent and breathtaking!! Good work!! I admire the voice of the singer and Geralt's skills are great as they should be 😎👍
The choreography in the Witcher series is simply disgusting. You guys, with this video, give the fans of the universe the opportunity not to be completely disappointed in the staging of fights in the genre of movies, TV shows, videos. Watched the video for the hundredth time. Thank you very much. You are the best!
You guys ALWAYS DELIVER!! This is all taking in to account in the genre of how stellar Geralt already is as a fighter, and what he can do as an enhanced being, taking on several armed men like that. Well freaking done, yet again!
Oooooh...I saw a pull in there!!!! He placed it on the guy's neck and pulled back!!! NOICE!!!!!! There was also a two handed Murder stroke in there and half swording. Amazing!
Love it! Great song/cover, costumes, lighting, great fighting as always! The camera could have been a bit more wide angle and less cuts to allow the viewer a bit more orientation in the scene. After all, these fighters really do not need fast cuts to make their fighting look good!
You guys demonstrated Geralt fighting exactly the way it was described in the book. I don't even know why Sapkovsky even praised that Netflix nonstnse we all witnessed. THAT is what he should have given a note to. Wonderful job, as usual. Very inspiring and heartwarming.
So badass...also love adorea and their historical accuracy of weapons and armour. In this clip it was little bit fantasy, but why would that be bad when it is about witcher:D Better than Netflix
There is a fight out of the books that I think would be really fascinating to see. Its at the end of the Last Wish where a noble seeking honor, snubbed by Geralt challenges him to a duel. Its a short fight needless to say, but it would be nonetheless be interesting to see it faithfully adapted by people who know their stuff. Geralt is instructed in the duel to not hit the Nobleman, otherwise they'll hang him. Geralt gets creative with the heavy blade they give him, and uses its weight to force the nobleman to hit himself.
I like more this choreography that the work on Netflix, do not get me wrong, I love the show! But some moves are just too "fantastic". Here we have a witcher who does take consideration of factors while fencing. And it is very interesting to see a Witcher with a longsword (two handed) as it is described in the books and games, compared to the hand and a half swords that they use in the show.
Pro choreography - which shocked me. And certainly better music than the show =D If only George RR Martin had written this series, instead of a six year old with crayons. Battle scene, smash peeple togeder and see wut hapens. Woah sordes. Look monstah. And Gerald says, 'Fuck' - you know, to make it sound serious.
www.buymeacoffee.com/adorea ... If you like our content, we'd love it if you'd buy us a beer and support our work. Your Adorea team!
Having Adorea Olomouc and Akademia Szermierzy posting videos one after the other is the best Christmas gift on youtube.
Historically accurate Witcher is a whole different and actually very interesting experience 😀
This video is historically accurate you mean ?
@@Inocyde Referring to the costumes and aesthetics of the set.
@@TrueMentorGuidingMoonlight Does the metal rock band counts as historical accurate?

Why can't the fighting in the series be at least half as accurate and good like the one done by these guys?! Love it!
because not sucking at life is hard for pedoville aka hollyweird
Because wokies in charge...

That's a Witcher i would love to watch!
This is way better than the Netflix one. Keep up the amazing work guys
Came for the epic swordfighting, stayed for how they say, "Oh wally of plenty".
Nice.
I like how at the end he uses the extra reach of his sword to defeat the enemy, you don't often see that basic but fundamental advantage shown in swordfighting films etc.
*The fight against 2-blade-guy was incredible!*
The best Blaviken fight I saw :) Great job.
I also appreciate Aikido-inspired throws in one of the scenes. Nice nod to the Polish TV series :)
Epic, the swordfighting was realistic and beutiful.
They threw some spinny spinny in for flash which isnt realistic, but overall, damned well done :D

Best version!
My son and I enjoyed this greatly, thank you all.
Excellent work!
Looks a lot like the games, love it.
Simply great! Thank You!
What a great video. It came up on my feed again and I'm glad it did.
That was a nice song and a very nice swordfighting!

Who would have thought that Yennefer could sing so well.
awesome video!
Love the drum rythem and guitar solo 🎸🎸🎸🎸
A great clip- wonderful job on the choreography and costumes Adorea. Anacreon can surely go harder and swing more metal to the song ;)
Great fight scenes, as always!
How does this not a have a million views
It’s great to see that the Witcher outro doesn’t forgotten)
Ah, so there *is* a reason swords have guards. Wonderful stuff, and great cover from Anacreon.
I'd watch a whole show from these guys
Oooooh...I saw a pull in there!!!! He placed it on the guy's neck and pulled back!!! NOICE!!!!!!

Best Witcher! Like in book.
The fighter with two swords got me remember the Witcher 1 epilogue. The nostalgia.
Love this, Any chance we'll ever see maybe behind the scenes of the fights, or perhaps even just a video focusing on them? :)
yes :)
Yes, we will release a video with combat sequences separately. Working on it. ;)
I love how in the last fight sequence Geralt arm wrestles and then pulls at the pommel to stop the cut.
Spectacular, Congratulations! Love from Greece!
Excellent job (again) hats off to your team. Merry Christmas!
That's how it's done
Why does this look better than both Witcher shows?
Awesome!!!

Considering how important the "high ground" is in Star Wars, it is a lovely touch to see he wins in part by having the lower ground.

When a music video for a metal cover has better fight choreography than the actual show lol.
Now I think we can all agree if Netflix did this we would all still be watching the witcher
👍👍👍

Better than S2 of the show
Not bad, pretty damn decent
I always thought the original sounded like a trivium song. Not one in particular but definitely in the style of.
What is the name of this amazing band?

Ok nice song but when are we going to see a witcher series made by you guys? Deadass looks better than the netflix series
