In medicine before giving a presentation, we need to declare whether there is any conflict of interest. Furthermore, in the past decade there has been a harsh cut-down in Pharmacy sponsored lunches, gifts etc. Because it is well recognised that when doctors are repeatedly given something for FREE, it can potentially cause a subconscious sense of obligation and influence their prescription of one drug brand over another with all other things being equal. In the case of perfumes, even though we get that you are not sponsored, for the sake of transparency it would be interesting and informative to know exactly which you PURCHASED with your own money and which you were gifted. Because even if there was no obligation for you to post a positive review, excluding all sense of bias is difficult and hence it is useful for your viewers to at least know where the perfumes came from and make our decisions based on that.
KAYALI Elixir is the Truth!!!!! Love love that fragrance ...definitely unique scent ...atomizer is awsome... still testing the longevity... but initial spray was packed with so many notes.... love it already.
I was over the moon about her beautiful scent of vanilla and wore it for a couple of weeks but was disappointed with projection and longevity, I returned it 😒
And that is the most intense one (as they mention). So if the "intense" one has such weak projection & longitivity then what will the other mild scents be? Not buying any of the scents.
She goes more into other stuff and just give us her opinion and impressions, just her way to do what she want! And I'm very shure there are other reviews with your wanted Infos out there...

I know Demi already replied, but I just wanted to add that the longevity of perfumes isn't a 'one-size-fits-all' rule. There are scents designed to last for 5h that will last 10h+ on some people; equally, some 'long-lasting' perfumes will not perform as expected on some people. Usually it's the make-up of microflora on your skin and the way it interacts with the notes of the scent that determine longevity. So on me, anything with amber or oud will last a good 10h+, but vanilla will only last half of that. It's fun to work out the ins and outs of it though x
I recently bought the Kayali Vanilla and love it! It’s such a deep rich vanilla and reminds me of micallef note vanille. The bottle is absolutely incredible and the longevity is pretty good on me. A friend gave me a decant of deja vu white flower and I have to say although I was really excited about it, I don’t care for it that much. On me I smell fresh ginger which is really strange. It’s not as creamy white floral as I expressed. I hope to try their other ones soon!
This just comes to show how subjective fragrance is. Her scents are powerhouses on me, work so beautiful on my skin and last ALL day. All of them have been more than worth it for me. I had so many others that are WAY more expensive and were total duds.

I had been interested in Kayali fragrances but with another lockdown in U.K it is impossible to test them first(also I don't even know if there are perfume shops that sell them). After watching your review I took a plunge and ordered online the mini bottles to try. I don't regret it- they are all beautiful, subtle and little exotic. But the only downside for me is the very low longevity...

The only one I liked was Elixir. The citrus one reminded me of the Westin. Or any hotel that uses that lemony scent to perfume their lobbies. Vanilla one, personally I dont go for sweet scents like brown sugar or vanilla. It doesnt smell bad I just associate it with dessert n I dont wanna smell like a cake, but if u like those scents I'm sure youll love that one. I find those scents to be more juvenile, like 13-16 year old girls wearing it. The musk, kind of grandma-ish. And elixir I find sophistated, a little mysterious n dark. Its a scent to wear on a sexy date night with a sexy black dress.

I bling bought vanilla and deja vu due to this video. What a total waste of money. Vanilla is quite nice smelling but lasts 1 hour on my skin and deja vu smells like cheap patchouli. Dissapointed.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I never get comments on my fragrances- I have a very large collection and wear different ones all the time tend to put on 4 sprays for strong ones and 6-8 for most others - very light ones I may spray 8-10 - no one where I work has ever said anything whether they liked it or not - what am i doing wrong? I do not spray on clothes- maybe that's it?

Try spraying on your clothes next time. I have the olympea intense the miniature bottle and only dot them on my shirt. My colleague asked what perfume I'm wearing coz it smells good 🥰

Okay soooo. Elixir smells good. Citrus stinks. It smells like dollar store hand lotion. Vanilla smells like Vaniglia soooo there's no need to have both. I prefer Vaniglia. Musk....is...amazing. it's so fresh and clean and perfect. I'm interested to smell the new deja vu but I'm not hopeful at this point. I bought the set of 4 minis and I'm returning them. I'll buy the full bottle of musk.

Could you be honest about the longevity of these perfumes because i own the Vanilla one and its longevity doesn't go beyond three hours.
MoonChild the vanilla and the white floral last forever on my skin!! The Elixir lasts around 5 hours and the other 2 last around 3-4 !!

I didn’t have success with Vanilla, regretfully, because I adore everything about it other than its longevity (lacking).

Great description. I cant stand when people "read" the notes. Like no, I need you to paint me a picture. Because of this I might get a small elixir!
