Hey 20garry20 I agree with you mate regarding the commentary. As good a commentator that Ger Canning is, he doesn't do the equaliser justice. If you log into Sound Cloud and look for "Clare vs Cork the final moments" it plays Marty Morrissey's commentary of the final few minutes. I know he is a Clare man but his passion captures the moment perfectly. It is one of the best commentaries I have ever heard. Enjoy!
@gerrymac1246. Yes I know your comment is 10 years old. But i came here to watch this back. And that was my thought too. Very surprising from Ger Canning. A rare lapse from him. He’s usually a lot better than this and seems to have a good understanding of all the dynamics going on the field at any time. I wonder was he aware that this was donal’s first point and from wing back. But that aside it was sensational taken point and fight to get it when all seemed lost. Deserved more reaction from Ger.
you kidding you an expert on commentators he must be the most versatile commentator we have and a really good speaker doesnt have the farmers accent that some associate with gaelic games and we had enough of that
Ah lads. what a finish to a game. You can forget sometimes what these occasions were like. What a way to rescue a game, first ever point in the championship!!
The only bad thing about this game is Ger Canning. He does no justice whatsoever to the drama. Just listen to his description of the equalising point. One of the best scores ever in a final. His tone, or monotone, is more akin to a first round under 12 game down the village. He has to go. Michael o Hehir must be turning in his grave.

that proved to be important because the banner county will go on to lift liam via wining the replay
Young people use RUclips so less of the language
Banner all the way, the referee was disgraceful during that match, especially in the first half. An Clár abú
The game had everything a GAA person would wish for
especially the GAA accountants
