they should do one of the beginning of the soul society. In that arc they can show the first battle of the quincy against the shinigamis and their loss, they can explain more the lore of the SS, unohana bankai, and can go on on. The second novel can be kisuke, there can explain all the problems that appear throught the years and why urohara do the things he do, and more with yoruichi being the second protagonist (there a novel already of them, i dont know the content obviously, but tite only need is to draw it, because the creator of this novel said he will not do it, only kubo).

Looking back this gives chilling context to the time Shunsui went to the real world and gave Ichigo's human friends those tickets to visit him, the implication being that his stay in Soul Society would be permanent. Given what we know and what was planned for him, I'll admit that I'm not feeling too bad about Gotei 13 getting utterly sunk and put near collapse in the war. Their inane tactics and twisted code of 'honor' sure helped.

And even if Hueco Mundo is finally at peace Nel and Harribel still can't afford to let their guard down ever again to ensure that another invasion never happened again. And with Grimmjow's always challenging them both for the top spot even stronger each time they will get stronger themselves and able to prepare if anyone tries to attack Hueco Mundo again.
Great review of volume 1. Things really pick up in 2 and 3. And you're right about Tokinada not being a very complex character, but he's still a very compelling and enjoyable villain imo and he's become one of my more favorite characters. He's sort of a parallel to Aizen in that they both find out the truth that "God is Dead". But while Aizen is an Existentialist who tries to replace God and impose his own meaning on the world, Tokinada is a nihilist who embraces the meaninglessness of the world and just uses it as an excuse to indulge in sadistic pleasure and cause unnecessary evil. He really is like the Joker of Bleach.
I kinda wish it was Rangiku that Aizen spoke to, I feel like She deserves the closure and I think the history between Rangiku, Gin, and Aizen runs deeper than that of Tosen and Hisagi.
I'd say Tokinada and his nihilistic sociopathy is a product of Soul Society's itself. He knows what was done to the so called Spirit King and the avarice involved, he knows what Shinigami from top to bottom are willing to do to maintain the balance be it assassination/genocide or turning their naive top hero into a puppet. He even alluded to the deliberate sacrifice of Soifon's brothers in that meeting about restoring the houses in a 'they'll eat each other' moment worthy of the Joker. Aizen is right Gotei 13 will probably fall thanks to it's own corruption, inflexible brutality and lies. Notice all the threats to them comes from their own shadows or from past atrocities. Sure they've reformed being humbled in the war but it may be too late.
I think after the Quincy invasion, Kyoraku tries to change the system of the Gotei 13 by making the administration system more transparent and accessible while still preserving the one million years old decorum. Four of the current Captains had been living in the Human World for a century and one of them spend more time with humans. So I would like to think the mind set has become more relax because of Ichigo.
@@hadiyazid Yes. Him and Nayura have been reforming what's left of Central 46 and Gotei 13 as a whole. Still they should tread carefully, many of those in the noble houses will definitely not take kindly to changes done to their million year status quo. Even Yoruichi wanted to silence Hisagi for asking too much about the Spirit King. But things seem to be progressing along so time will tell.
Reminder that mayuri ordered he's squad to kill thousands of innocent people in the rukongai just to reestablish the valance of souls that the quincys made and yamamoto's response to that is that if he'd just ask for permission to fo that he would've got it
@@kugansivasakthy2091 She had 5 and was under the impression that they all were killed in action against Hollows because they were incompetent. Tokinada of course revealed the truth and she was NOT happy for obvious reasons.
Kaname Tosen is my favorite character. He was the only shinigami to use the same resurrection technique the Arancar, he was blind so unable to ever be effected by Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu. And most of all he was fighting to end the dark corruption of the Soul Society.
To think these Volumes can explain the TYBW aftermath. If Stark were still alive, we could've had The King of Hueco Mundo and the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 having a drink together
It is absolutely canon, it doesnt conflict with any other bleach content, it continues the story, is an official work, and fleshes out bleach more than Kubo ever really did. No reason as to why it wouldn't be
Narita is amazing writer, kinda hoping we get more novels on characters like Rangiku, Isshin, Chad, Soi fong or other characters that didn't get much screen time or development
After the tybw is animated i’d love to see can’t fear your own world animated as well, whether it be in show or movie it’d be nice to see the follow up to the tybw in animation
It was written by Ryohgo Narita, the same author as Baccano, Durarara, and Fate Strange Fake. Of course you can fully hope that this novel will definitely be good
CFYOW does raise an interesting point. The zanpakuto that Tokinada uses isn't his original one but the family sword, in the same way as the Ise sword. And as Tousen proved with Kayko, a person doesn't have to be the original owner of a zanpakuto to wield it. So question. Do other noble houses have family zanpakuto? Especially the five noble houses who have been around since the beginning.
@@jjgrueso7422 No. We know Yoruichi had a Zanpakuto because of Turn Back The Pendulum but she doesn't use because it's probably more of a hindrance to her fighting style than it is a benefit.
I been theorizing about this since Nano revealed jer zanpakutou. So, a zanpakutou is a literal piece of the user, a part of their soul. So if the zanpakutou still has that soul fragment when the user dies it may still carry the will of the user so that's why Tosen could use Suzumushi because he had a deep bond with his death friend, I'm guessing the same logic applies to zanpakutous like Nanao's that passed through generations. This raises some questions like for example, Byakkuya was dead (damn fangirls that brought him back) after As Nodt had stole Sennobon sakura so if he had remained dead, could had Rukia use senbon Sakura after killing As Nodt? Like he left that piece of his soul to remain with her and saw her worthy. Imagine Rukia wilding 2 bankais at the same time. UNSTOPPABLE.
That whole thing with potentially turning ichigo into the soul king would be crazy cuz it would probably split the soul society in terms of standing with him or against him and his friends wouldn't give him up
I think you might have misinterpreted something regarding the Royal Guard. I read this beginning portion of the book as, during TYBW Arc, Ichibe was the only member to not die and subsequently resurrected the other members that were killed. If all Squad Zero were to die, they could never come back. At least one member needs to survive in order to revive the rest.
Ichibei's resurrection was by a different means than the rest of the royal guard. Due to his connections with names, Ichibei can be resurrected as long as someone says his name, which Ichigo does for him during the TYBWA. Then in CFYOW Ichibei explains that, thanks to their oken bones, any member of the royal guard can revive the others, as long as the soul kings palace exists, so yes, at least one of them needs to survive to revive the rest, but Ichibei acts as a sort of safeguard to revive the others by having an alternate means of reviving
I believe all the light novels together make a excellent story as a whole & also provides extra content for stuff that got rushed outta the manga & even then safwy isn’t that bad either it’s a story about the soul society during the fullbring arc so that’s Amazing but they all are certainly canon from the information they give why would 1 LN be canon then the rest not be
I really wish the culture and politics of the SS actually played more of a role in the SS. Like, I get it's Ichigo's story, but the SS has such a huge lore thing that we just don't know about and that's so cool when we get things like this.
I wish the Soul Society had been more of a focus in the story because it could've been really interesting. The Soul Society is fucked up. It's a military dictatorship which has committed countless atrocities (and continues to commit them, see Mayuri) and the vast majority of the souls which end up there live like medieval peasants. and the shinigami obviously don't just kill hollows, they must also be the police and the army keeping the population of Soul Society subjugated with violence. We only see this aspect in the Soul Society arc, after that the shinigami become basically 'the good guys'. but Urahara or Ichibei are only the good guys in contrast to characters like Aizen, who, while justifiably rejecting the corrupt status quo, is characterized to be a complete psycho, so there can be no doubt in the audience's mind that the shinigami are correct in stopping him from destroying the world as they know it. but really those top shinigami are simply protecting a deeply corrupt and unjust system in which they can be at the top of the food chain. imagine what a fucking story we would've got if Aizen hadn't been just a power-hungry psycho, but a complex villain who would revolt against the establishment because of its obvious corruption. shame it didn't happen and we got this weird 'the shinigami are basically the good guys, but some of them are Morally Ambiguous™, but don't worry, only their means are morally ambiguous, their goals are totally virtuous and fine"
basically you are describing a series thats divided into good guys and bad guys, and the whole point of the entire series is exactly that moral ambiguity. you cant put gotei and the nobles/central 46 in the same pot. if you do you are misinterpreting the series itself.
@@Dr.HooWho well he was indeed gonna "kill" ichigo by turning him into status vegetative state, soul king. But yea thx to juha absorbing the soul king. He can become new replacement instead of ichigo. So juha technically saved ichigo here lol.

I thought this was a super fun splattering of Bleach lore that seemed to be made specifically for the fans. I can’t wait to read the other two volumes.
Here's a question.... if they did make Ichigo the new Soul King, would they have to remove his limbs and his heart and just turn him into a vegetable or would he still be alive and well, immortal but could never leave the Soul Palace but could at least have visitors? I mean if the second is an option, I don't think it would be all that bad. Sure, it would get lonely some times but if he's in command and control, he could always have and make new friends in his immortal life.
Ichigo just isn't the type to do that. Unless it would save everyone else. If Ichigo doesn't voluntarily do it then it's probably not gonna happen..he is the strongest shinigami in existence after all.
i love these novels and how they explore more into squad 0, interaction between characters is always nice like kyoraku (shunsui is such a good character he interacts with many people like azashiro, other kenpachi's, past captains, tokinada, kisuke, ichibe, aizen, he has lots of knowledge which may pass over peoples head as he goes off as a lazy drunk chill guy but really he knows a lot about the soul society. perfect choice for head captain also strong aswell) sorry I went off topic just these novels make shunsui better and better. just all this new info I love so much as a bleach fan
Even though she was only a minor character, I love Kakyoo from what I have read about her and the fact it is her zanpakuto passed down to Kaname is interesting.
Soul king reminds me of the part in Vivy about the robot civilization that was all supported using the AI of an advance Android. It was given a tragic spin that I think Kubo wanted to play with using the soul king character.
I love your channel. But one thing that you might've mentioned in volume 2 and 3 videos (I am yet to watch) is that Tokinada DID have a reason. He wasn't just evil for the purpose of being evil! Same as Aizen and Yhwach. The whole thing revolves around that "thing" as Aizen called it. All of their hatred is connected to them not understanding or maybe fully understanding what the Soul King actually is. There's a bit in the novels where Tokinada asks his dad about the Soul King and when he asks him about what was before the Soul King, his father unexplainably gets furios with him. The thing about Bleach is that it has an unreal amount of potentiak but we are still yet to see some major things which is frustrating. Aizen's backstory, Soul King origins (more in depth), the fifth Noble House, Hell and the whole thing with primordial world, chaos, balance. Relationship of Hell and the 3 other realms...
The zero decision should have teamed up with some of thr certain Gotei 13 captains or shinigami in order to defeat the powerful revived elite squad, but only after they were revived and powered up by Juha. This would have made more sense, and this leaves room for the Bankai's to be revealed. Really wanted to see more of their skills, but I feel like the anime won't even explore and provide that. Oetsu is one of my favorite characters, really fucked up I didn't see him get to go all out.
I'm glad bambietta and candice were alive though I feel they could live a normal life I feel like askin would plot to destroy the soul society given his loyalty to Bach hes a hard guy to read but jugram is interesting as well
Seinosuke is interesting to me cuz he doesnt care on what side he is on. His principle is just he will do his best to cure his patient, no matter what. He looks like a villian for this tho cuz sadly he is used by tokinada.
You'll notice Tokinada has a knack for sheer manipulation, add that his family has control over mass surveillance with history manipulation and he's certainly used blackmail too. Still it would be interesting to see more of Seinosuke, he sort of just hovers in the background.
Manuel Acosta true. And the fact that he can toe to toe with unohana in terms of healing prowess (tho unohana still better arguably) it is just that he's kinda different wherein he puts his patients first but yeah at wrong hands can definitely be damaging.
I will be honest , that Shuhei being the editor chief of the bulletin is strange. The buletin was used mostly in between the arcs and and only in fillers . Also Shuhei seems like he was writen to be the point of view of the reader. He didn't need it. He was the lieutenant of Kaneme and he discovered what happened to him and wants to find out the truth. But also Ichigo has every major power in the manga/anime.
It was Shunsui who sent him undercover to find out the truth about the war and why Yhwach did what he did. And he did, finding out all the horrible and dirty truths about Soul Society's origins.
I don't consider kyoraku as he is a lower noble, not one of the five major. Or maybe the other one is just left out unnamed. Yeah shiba is one of them, just fallen.
@@jjgrueso7422 Rurichiyo’s clan, the Kasumioji was a rank below the four great noble clans according to that filler arc. And yes, Shunsui’s clan are high ranked but they’re not one of the great noble clans. The last of the great noble clan is as of right now unnamed so we don’t know who it is
Tokinada Tsunayashiro is by far my favourite villain in Bleach... because he's so mean-spirited, rude, spiteful, nasty, and disrespectful that he actually makes the other villains (even the anime-only villains) look nicer.
Only one point to note: Hikone is classified as unknown gender so they're typically referred to as they. Other than that, great vid! Loved getting your thoughts on it! They definitely did well with CFYOW.
It’s been years since I’ve jumped back into bleach, since the rumors are starting to come out that the new reboot of the final arc is coming out soon, Ive decided to pick up these light novels. I’m also rewatching that series! Watching your review has in a way sealed the deal and rekindled my love for this series. I’m so glad that Tito Kubo created this because I had TON of unanswered questions about the soul Society and certain characters. Thank you for this.
I have a sense, that if we get another Light novel, Aizen could end up on Ichigo's side. CFYOW, builds a new story, with new villans, and expanding entire Soul Society. Showing true motives of Zero Division, Noble Houses, Central 46, background of some events ..... Hope we will see story worth of new arc.!
I don't know that we can say Tokinada had an easy childhood in the lap of luxury, as we see that at least in the Tsunayashiro family the nobles were pretty cutthroat in trying to position themselves in the best possible position, with assassins being used to move up the house positions seemingly being a not unusual method
Might be wrong but what if the original soul king is the previous juha Bach and they started everything killing the quincies and using them like such. Hell is heaven komamura and his clan are the hidden clan which are the giant hell warriors guarding hell and the ones that went to soul society are the ones that betrayed the rest or they were set as guards after the change. His bankai looks very similar to the hell warriors.
The main villain is named after the head of the Spanish Inquisition? How interesting Side note* with bringing up Tozen, and home being blind and so immune to the hypnosis, shouldn't glasses work too? Or perhaps, blindfolds
I wonder if the content is such that pieces of it could be used to patch up the up-coming anime for a more robust story as a way to rectify some of it's shortcomings? I seriously doubt they would do something so awesome, but I wonder.... They better keep the old soundtrack. Imagine how much of a tragedy it would be if they used a new soundtrack. Imagine if they nailed the anime in every way except the the boardroom suits insisted on a "modern" Rap soundtrack lmao.
My question is, how did Tokinada managed to get in the soulk king realm, wouldn't he need the bones of the zero division to get in? Also, how did Tokinada even steal a zanpakuto from Oetsu, wouldn't Oetsu know one of his zanpakutos would be missing 🤔🤔
So, here's the timeline for all Post-war material. In this order: -CFYOW: Starts shortly after Juha Bach's defeat: Soul Society has started reconstructing , Aizen is sent back to the underground prison, and Ichibei and Shunsui watch Juha Bach's corpse being remade into a new soul king linchpin. -We do Knot always love you: Three years have passed, Soul Society is still cleaning up, while the Gotei is back in business; Renji and Rukia are engaged, and we see Ichigo and co. back on Earth, doing each their own thing. -Next come chapters 685 and 686, where ten years have already passed. Rukia got promoted to 13th Division Captain, and we meet Ichigo's son , Kazui , who manages to erase/absorb (?) the last remnants of Juha Bach's reiatsu. Somehow... -Open the Jaws of Hell: a.k.a the Hell Arc. The one we're all waiting for. Two more years have passed. (Twelve years now since the end of the war) Turns out it was Aizen's and Juha Bach's reiatsu that kept Hell's gates closed. We also find out that the funeral rites for Shinigami as powerful as Yamamoto had actually been sending them to Hell. What next? A Shinigami-Hell war? Could Yhwach come back from death a second time? More aristocrats involved? (Half of them might be as bad as Tokinada. The rest may be more like Ichibei: nice, easy-going people, who will go to extremes for the status-quo)
I think Ichibei will be a problem, a BIG one. He would sacrifice and replace the entire Seritei if something wouldn't be exactly as he (or "reio") wanted to. He is so terrifying. Especially if Yhwach will return after 100 years and there won't be night for another 100. And now Balance of the worlds is broken. Man I swear those problems from thousands of years ago just pile up.
@@AgrestisAnima Speaking of whom, Juha Bach might've had his name removed again by Ichibei after being made into a new Soul King. But more importantly... How does Juha Bach being the new linchpin help keep balance? There had to have been repercussions. The CFYOW Novels hinted at something, but it might be in the Hell Arc where we get the actual fallout. There's also the Oken: the famous "key" to the royal realm, referring to the Royal Guard's own bones that were transformed/modified by the Soul King's "power" (its reiatsu?)... Juha Bach's own reiatsu could be subconsciously "tampering" with the Squad Zero's bone structure, somehow... Being an ancient quincy, not only is his own reiatsu different, but it could be as poisonous to shinigami, as hollows are to the quincies themselves.
The Soul society has the tradition of leeching the spiritual power of the Soul King and his son. Did this story explain how Ichigo keeps his shinigami power?
Huh? He regained them at the end of the fullbringer arc, then near the end of tybw ywhach stole his Quincy powers and the hollow powers which were attached (both from ichigos mom) He kept his soul reaper powers the whole time

Yes I'd say wait. If soul madness channel wasnt taken down I would have recommended you read the manga on his channel since his videos made it look like animated with music and wat not but at this point considering they might incorporate the novels I'd say wait for the anime.
I hope after all that. The novels thousand year blood arc Tite decides to end it with a blast with a movie. I beleive the thousand year blood war arc is getting a second chance and will have them come out with a movie as the true finali
I loved reading this volume and loved see how the world sees the war and seeing that ichibe is covering it up shows how he not only sees the world but his role in it to continue the world as is no excuses and i do like the tokinada whos evil just to be evil and it dosnt matter cos of his position in the world
If they did go with the Ichigo Soul-King route I hoped that they would not have made him comatose as well. That would have been an incredibly lame way to go. Being trapped in the palace would be enough.

he wouldnt accept it anyways. hes agaisnt the system too remember.
I love that Nel and Harribel are left to deal with Grimmjow's bullshit forever XD
I mean he's the one in charge tbh, if Haribel is afraid to call herself Queen she is no true queen.
It's probably for the best. Sure Grimmjow's is violent and enjoy fighting like Nnoitora but unlike Nnoitora he is very prideful and would never uses cheap tactics like Nnoitora did.

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd watch a full two hour vid of you discussing this lol Don't feel as though you can't or shouldn't
Reminder that mayuri ordered he's squad to kill thousands of innocent people in the rukongai just to reestablish the valance of souls that the quincys made and yamamoto's response to that is that if he'd just ask for permission to fo that he would've got it
Hold up Soifon has a brother 🤔
@@kugansivasakthy2091 She had 5 and was under the impression that they all were killed in action against Hollows because they were incompetent. Tokinada of course revealed the truth and she was NOT happy for obvious reasons.
This novel is amazing! Great video! Congratulations from Brazil fan! 👏😉
Kaname Tosen is my favorite character. He was the only shinigami to use the same resurrection technique the Arancar, he was blind so unable to ever be effected by Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu. And most of all he was fighting to end the dark corruption of the Soul Society.
I honestly really like Bleach in the Novel format, it suits Kubo's world building much more than the manga format
To think these Volumes can explain the TYBW aftermath. If Stark were still alive, we could've had The King of Hueco Mundo and the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 having a drink together
Damn.
It is absolutely canon, it doesnt conflict with any other bleach content, it continues the story, is an official work, and fleshes out bleach more than Kubo ever really did. No reason as to why it wouldn't be
Is there an interview with Kubo confirming this? Can you link it please?
@@tonygabagool i dont need an interview, its common sense. Also theyre putting cyfow material into the anime so badaboom case closed

I thought this was great. I really enjoyed these light novels! Thank god it’s canon. I love what they did with Grimmjow and Shuhei
How much of Grimmjow time is in this novel?
@@takom7541 a lot
I hope these books would get animated after the final arc.
Tokinada wearing clown make-up: We live in a Society
@J K Yes... that was the joke...
"We live in a Soul Society."
It was written by Ryohgo Narita, the same author as Baccano, Durarara, and Fate Strange Fake. Of course you can fully hope that this novel will definitely be good
I haven't read the light novels yet, but I also felt the definite need for them to be animated.
ArmageddonAngel hmmm and might answer why yoruichi isnt using one
@@jjgrueso7422 No. We know Yoruichi had a Zanpakuto because of Turn Back The Pendulum but she doesn't use because it's probably more of a hindrance to her fighting style than it is a benefit.
CFYOW III says the Kuchikis have one.
@@L_Selverne Yes they do! the Kuchiki’s have Muramasa sword. You know the same one from the Zanpakuto arc :)
That whole thing with potentially turning ichigo into the soul king would be crazy cuz it would probably split the soul society in terms of standing with him or against him and his friends wouldn't give him up
I love you're videos MrTommo!! I hope you keep your enthusiasm for Bleach
I hope they combine tybw and cfyow when the anime finally gets it revival
hey i havent read it yet. how strong is kenpachi
Even if they don't at least they should add the context about how the whole soul King thing works
they do, Tybw trailer shows shinji bankai, tokinada stealing the blade from hooen
Ichibei died and was resurrected by Ichigo saying his name (in the manga).
I see. Thanks fellas
Hey 8th kenpachi is coming to brave souls next year, it'll be cool to see
I wish the Soul Society had been more of a focus in the story because it could've been really interesting.
Ichibei is not a good guy. He's worse than Tokinada and Aizen. He was going to kill Ichigo.
@@praz7 doubt that
@@Dr.HooWho well he was indeed gonna "kill" ichigo by turning him into status vegetative state, soul king. But yea thx to juha absorbing the soul king. He can become new replacement instead of ichigo. So juha technically saved ichigo here lol.

I thought this was a super fun splattering of Bleach lore that seemed to be made specifically for the fans. I can’t wait to read the other two volumes.
As soon as you said it was a must read i went and got it! Ty for the heads up !
No wonder Yoruichi left the royal houses. I can see this arc being animated like that Kakashi ANBU special for Naruto.
I read Can't Feel Your Own World. I really enjoyed reading it.
I hope they continue to come out with more bleach content and they should come bounce ideas off of you cause you’re the go to for bleach
Whatever happened to Kira? I remember him getting one shot, and then come back and fought that bird thing the sniper sternritter turned into.
There is a short story about it. Try googling izuru fight with shaz domino
Is he alive i absolutely love his character he's underutilized
i love these novels and how they explore more into squad 0, interaction between characters is always nice like kyoraku (shunsui is such a good character he interacts with many people like azashiro, other kenpachi's, past captains, tokinada, kisuke, ichibe, aizen, he has lots of knowledge which may pass over peoples head as he goes off as a lazy drunk chill guy but really he knows a lot about the soul society. perfect choice for head captain also strong aswell) sorry I went off topic just these novels make shunsui better and better. just all this new info I love so much as a bleach fan
Great review! I have a question, how is Ginjo still alive after the fullbring arc since I am pretty sure he was dead at the end of that arc?
his soul went to soul society after death
@@otakusophia5448 Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. Thanks👍
no problem
Great video, looking forward to more cfyow vids mate
Let's go I've been waiting for this
I will be honest , that Shuhei being the editor chief of the bulletin is strange.
Your background seems to have changed. Good work mah man.
The Five Noble Houses are the Kuchikis, Tsunayashiros, Shihouins, Kyorakus and the Shibas (who lost power due to Isshin leaving and Kaien dying).
ki marcha i know this is filler but how about rurichiyo's family? It is stated she is a noble one. Don't remember the name tho
I don't consider kyoraku as he is a lower noble, not one of the five major. Or maybe the other one is just left out unnamed. Yeah shiba is one of them, just fallen.

Only one point to note:
Hikone is classified as unknown gender so they're typically referred to as they.
We'd love to see some of your drawings!
Why could the original Soul King's corpse not have been used as the new Soul King?
Hisagi is a fantastic main character
The main villain is named after the head of the Spanish Inquisition? How interesting
Side note* with bringing up Tozen, and home being blind and so immune to the hypnosis, shouldn't glasses work too? Or perhaps, blindfolds
I wonder if the content is such that pieces of it could be used to patch up the up-coming anime for a more robust story as a way to rectify some of it's shortcomings? I seriously doubt they would do something so awesome, but I wonder....
They better keep the old soundtrack. Imagine how much of a tragedy it would be if they used a new soundtrack. Imagine if they nailed the anime in every way except the the boardroom suits insisted on a "modern" Rap soundtrack lmao.
I really hope they keep the old OST too. I've envisioned As Nodt dying with Nightmare playing in the background for years now.
@MrTommo2304 how are you enjoying things so far?
Amazing, burn the witch chapter Ɛ review is going to be so entertaining
Wait Ichigo could've been turned into the Soul King? Damn, Kubo could've used that twist in the TYBW arc
Great videos tho Tommo i definitely subscribed lol
Perhaps there is a chance that the anime will do CFYOW? I mean Naruto Shippuden animated the Light Novels too, so why not?
My question is, how did Tokinada managed to get in the soulk king realm, wouldn't he need the bones of the zero division to get in? Also, how did Tokinada even steal a zanpakuto from Oetsu, wouldn't Oetsu know one of his zanpakutos would be missing 🤔🤔
It’s stolen during the Quincy invasion, when Oetsu is dead
Ugh I really wish the other novels got english published translations. Unmasked too
Was looking forward to this video can you do a video on what yuwach actually is an what is the soul king
He has to read CFYOW 2 before he can do one
So, here's the timeline for all Post-war material. In this order:
-CFYOW: Starts shortly after Juha Bach's defeat:
Soul Society has started reconstructing , Aizen is sent back to the underground prison, and Ichibei and Shunsui watch Juha Bach's corpse being remade into a new soul king linchpin.
-We do Knot always love you:
Three years have passed, Soul Society is still cleaning up, while the Gotei is back in business; Renji and Rukia are engaged, and we see Ichigo and co. back on Earth, doing each their own thing.
-Next come chapters 685 and 686, where ten years have already passed.
Rukia got promoted to 13th Division Captain, and we meet Ichigo's son , Kazui , who manages to erase/absorb (?) the last remnants of Juha Bach's reiatsu. Somehow...
-Open the Jaws of Hell:
a.k.a the Hell Arc. The one we're all waiting for.
Two more years have passed.
(Twelve years now since the end of the war)
Turns out it was Aizen's and Juha Bach's reiatsu that kept Hell's gates closed.

Speaking of whom, Juha Bach might've had his name removed again by Ichibei after being made into a new Soul King.
But more importantly...
How does Juha Bach being the new linchpin help keep balance?
There had to have been repercussions.
The CFYOW Novels hinted at something, but it might be in the Hell Arc where we get the actual fallout.
There's also the Oken:
the famous "key" to the royal realm, referring to the Royal Guard's own bones that were transformed/modified by the Soul King's "power" (its reiatsu?)...
Juha Bach's own reiatsu could be subconsciously "tampering" with the Squad Zero's bone structure, somehow...
Being an ancient quincy, not only is his own reiatsu different, but it could be as poisonous to shinigami, as hollows are to the quincies themselves.
An individual video about the espada and their new forms would be sweet
Aim bot did it state that in cant fear your own world?
Mayuri is more evil than Aizen.
Mayuris evilness got toned down from his first appearance for sure though.
There's no such thing as evil.
I can easily see CFYOW being done like those few high quality episodes of Burn the Witch
The Soul society has the tradition of leeching the spiritual power of the Soul King and his son. Did this story explain how Ichigo keeps his shinigami power?
Huh? He regained them at the end of the fullbringer arc, then near the end of tybw ywhach stole his Quincy powers and the hollow powers which were attached (both from ichigos mom)
He kept his soul reaper powers the whole time
Please make vids on the other volumes when you finish the books tommo!!

I hope after all that. The novels thousand year blood arc Tite decides to end it with a blast with a movie. I beleive the thousand year blood war arc is getting a second chance and will have them come out with a movie as the true finali
If I wasn't so lazy, I would make a compilation of all the times you reference this book before you've actually reviewed it.
i have the book so im not spoiled thx!!!!
please do, i would give you my support for a manga to happen
I loved reading this volume and loved see how the world sees the war and seeing that ichibe is covering it up shows how he not only sees the world but his role in it to continue the world as is no excuses and i do like the tokinada whos evil just to be evil and it dosnt matter cos of his position in the world
If they did go with the Ichigo Soul-King route I hoped that they would not have made him comatose as well. That would have been an incredibly lame way to go. Being trapped in the palace would be enough.
