i really hope this doesn’t encourage more people to adopt/buy malinois’ without research. The breed is so so intense and needs to be worked and stimulated CONSTANTLY. i love the breed and personally knowing the breed through work i won’t be getting one for a long time till i’m 100% ready for one and have the time and energy for one. excited for the movie though!
Actually, this does a MUCH better job of honestly showing the psychotic levels of drive and aggression a working K-9 needs to do their jobs! These are NOT pets they are for experienced handlers and trainers… but they MUST WORK and some absolutely MUST BITE a man in order to be happy. How do I know ? Because I own five and I am STILL SANE 😂

Just saw this movie today. Absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. The funeral and hotel scenes near the end of the movie are highly affecting. I was in tears multiple times over the course of the film. I love dogs. Just wanted to get home and be with my dogs after.
No. The dog doesn’t die. Both the dog and Tatum’s characters are suffering from shell shock from their military service, and those afflictions are explored in the movie. It’s very affecting.

Plus all this movie is going to do is encourage more idiots to pretend to be disabled and pretend their dogs are service dogs. Worse yet, it's going to encourage idiots to get malinois then dump or euthanize them when they realize they cant handle it. Normally I don't comment on crap, but as I literally have to deal with fake service dogs and people pretending to be disabled at least once a week and a lot of times it puts my service dog in serious danger, my patience is thin.😒
My class, the whole school and me watched the film yesterday in a cinema and it was fantastic! I almost cried on some scenes, some were sad and some were lovely. It was pretty funny as well! We all loved it!

I hope they represent the breed accurately and discourage people from running out to get one the minute this movie drops. Malinois are no joke and one hundred percent not a breed for everybody.

Well, in my head Channing croaks in the middle of a dance routine and the dog survives two full weeks by eating his master's remains just to be gunned down by police as they barge in the house after being alerted by neighbours.

I love this movie You don't put a man down with PTSD Dogs have PTSD to from war Its so beautiful He is helping the dog heal and in doing so he is healing to. With good discipline and showing the dog in training that it has no bad consequences anymore and that he can trust his owner they both heal.
The movie was excellent. Everyone should see it. I actually love it, my best friend loved it too. The sweet doggie was sooooooo cute. When I was a little boy, I was afraid of everything, dogs included. I was so bullied, but I survived the ghetto and made it to the get mo, but I never got a sweet little or big doggie, because I learned how to reach and love them.
I always welcome any movie or screen time where they show how dogs are just what you train them to be. You train them to be aggressive, and so they will be. We just need more movies with regular stray dogs and not full breed! deffff looking forward to this one!
A. the dog in this movie is a 100% pure bred belgian malinois probably with special bloodlines and B. This is the result of not enough stimulation, not training. They're kinda crackheads. I like the fact that this movie shows how dangerous the breed can be if owned by the wrong person though.

Definitely for fans of either Channing Tatum and/or dogs, this movie was very much an American road trip movie full of humour and adventure. It had a simple and endearing linear story of basically a damaged and traumatised dog and man who healed together. With that said the movie explored some deeper and more challenging themes in quite a nuanced way, I have seen many a Channing Tatum movie and here he did a fine job and really stepped up to the plate, I must say he always delivers! I must say that Channing must have spent the two years of lockdown locked in the gym and totally looks the part of an army ranger fresh from fighting the Taliban! Overall this was a very funny movie that gently established a relationship between man and man's best friend. The music was good, the cinematography great, the script compelling and the ending a joy.
This film appears to be of some quality and enjoyment to see, unless it's nothing more than what it's trailer offers. I like what I've seen and the storyline formula has been effective in several other films...time will tell if it's successful at the box office.

Tom Hanks did Turner & Hooch right after Big and The 'Burbs and just before Joe & the Volcano. His career was just getting started and on the way up. Plus Turner & Hooch is a great movie, mainly because Tom Hanks is a great actor. This, is something else.

I have one and she’s the sweetest girl but she needs her exercise to be chill , she’s not aggressive she gives lots of hugs and super gentle , but she’s not very friendly with people/dogs she doesn’t know .. but unless you want a high driven dog that has nutty tendencies when you don’t work them .. yeah not recommended for a first dog , had German Shepard’s all my life and a malinois is a whole other species but 100% lovable and gives back so much
God I love Belgian Malinois's. Best dog breed I have ever had. She is my best friend and my schedule revolves around HER. If you want this breed you cannot be gone all day and lock them up. My teens adore her too! The husband is a little jealous. OK, I'm going to go take a bath with her now.

The premise of this movie, that you can get back into an elite military unit if you take a dog to a funeral is a reach, it's less realistic than Avengers. The upside is that Channing Tatum is a pretty face and a pretty average actor so I guess the script suits.

My husband got me a German Shepherd female dog that was abused. For Christmas last year, I named her Lavinia. She's an angel.

I swear we get a movie like this every 5-7 years just a few changes to things here and there.

Reminds me of the movie called Max. I love Dog movies, but the dog always dies... Hachi, Marley, etc. And it breaks me to the bone 😭💔. Lulu better not die. Trailer looks awesome and great to see Channing back on the big screen again.

Its Ok, Tom Hanks actually got to this stage too; the dog co-star movie point during his career ( now formally referred to as the "Turner and Hooch Reverse Career Apogee Inflection Point film" ) So, let's remember, Tom Hanks bounced back and went on to do great acting roles. We're pulling for ya Channing. Or at least holding that leash
Tom Hanks did Turner & Hooch right after Big and The 'Burbs and just before Joe & the Volcano. His career was just getting started and on the way up. Plus Turner & Hooch is a great movie, mainly because Tom Hanks is a great actor.

Quite a few people here are saying that so hopefully there is a disclaimer before the movie but I bet it is clearly stated in the dialogue ar some point.
100%, this movie kinda shows the true nature of the breed tho, so HOPEFULLY, people aren't dumb enough to say "they can't be that bad." lol
@@pinchegreg1 Looks like this movie shows what kind of assholes they can be. lol. My girl just turned 3 and I still get the maligator head butts to the face. lol. She is also not trained very well but I love that dog more than anything.
I have one and she’s the sweetest girl but she needs her exercise to be chill , she’s not aggressive she gives lots of hugs and super gentle , but she’s not very friendly with people/dogs she doesn’t know .. but unless you want a high driven dog that has nutty tendencies when you don’t work them .. yeah not recommended for a first dog , had German Shepard’s all my life and a malinois is a whole other species but 100% lovable and gives back so much

God I love Belgian Malinois's. Best dog breed I have ever had. She is my best friend and my schedule revolves around HER. If you want this breed you cannot be gone all day and lock them up. My teens adore her too! The husband is a little jealous. OK, I'm going to go take a bath with her now.

Alright well I just got back from watching dog and trust me it was a really good movie it's a good date movie if you have a date if you're in a had a bad day it's a movie that will make you come out feeling great can't find a thing wrong with this movie here was a really really good touching the good touching the movie about man and beast it was really a Heartwell movie there I was really touched by it I came out feeling great again it was a great movie I definitely recommended it's a good date movie if you have a date and you wanna see something besides marrying me which is also a good date movie this is a good date movie too Great job everybody but who made this movie who start in this movie a great acting Everything about it was great I can't find one thing wrong with us I give at 13 out of 13 skulls and that's the best for me it's the best for me I definitely recommend you to see this movie

The premise of this movie, that you can get back into an elite military unit if you take a dog to a funeral is a reach, it's less realistic than Avengers. The upside is that Channing Tatum is a pretty face and a pretty average actor so I guess the script suits.
