Oh how I love the bagpipes! I've been to the Edinburgh Tattoo many times and also Highland Games in small towns around Scotland. The pipes always bring me to tears. As an American I love the UK more than I can express. I'm 73 years old & I've loved British culture since I first watched The Prince & the Pauper in the mid 50's when a young child. One of the highlights of my life was visiting Greyfriars Kirkyard and seeing the grave of the dog, Greyfriars Bobby. That film made a huge impact on me as a child. I will die a Brit at heart.

The gosling is so darling. What a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you all to see the Coronation. My first visit to London and nearby area was in 1982 during my studies in Paris. The moment I stepped onto British soil I felt at home. I encouraged my parents to visit, and we ended up taking 6 grand tour trips to see all of these wonderful countries. I recently took my DNA test to find out my ancestry. Now I know why I felt so at home in Great Britain - I’m 85% British (English 47%, Scottish 22%, Welch 9%, and Irish 7%). The other 15% is Sweden/Denmark 14%, 1% Finland. I have visited some of the towns my ancestors came from but I want to take a trip to find every town. My Scottish clan is quite small (Duthie) but is part of the larger Ross Clan. I have been going to Scottish Highland Games since I was 9, in Orlando, FL, Atlanta, GA, and Old Town Alexandria, VA (next to DC). If you haven’t been to one, I highly recommend it. There may be one in your area. I know FL has several cities that sponsor them. I’m raising my Royal Dalton tea cup to you, with Earl Grey tea in it, to say thank you again for sharing this with us. ☕️🫖

More footage of England please! I love England too,however I have e never been there. I am the only one in my family that hasn't . My boyfriend lived there for 12yrs. He still uses little phrases like he is living in England. Like calling gas petrol and calling the TV the Tele. It's so funny. I am disabled due to a back injury and arthritis so any video on travel I am up for. It is hard for me to travel by air. Keep them coming.
P.S Just have to add that there is nothing quite as wonderful as a Scottish Bagpipe band marching in full Uniform and wearing kilts -Well done Scotland, you did the Islands proud that day.
