You can now get Tig Fingers from any local welding supply if they order from alliance distribution partners
"Without your pinky screaming at you..." Best selling point ever! I'm definitely buying one.
I'm sold.
@@2know2learn I bought one today and some gloves!
You're an absolute artist of a welder! Thanks for all the years of dedicated teaching and instruction, it is so appreciated!
Thank you very much!
Especially carnival rides!
I'd sure be interested in a few more pics or maybe a short of the Porta Band stand. I super appreciate what you do for the welding community, I have your tig finger and am trying to get more into tig, so I watch the crap out of your vids. I learned tig scratch start and can only do DC alu with helium.
Hi from Sweden, we have the TIG- finger here at my local supply, the real one. I've got two of them 😊
If you are Tig welding, the Tig Finger is one of the best investments you can make.Great vid Jody
thanks very much
I was really glad to see Tig Fingers in my local welding supply. Thanks again Jody.
great to hear. I am working on getting them in more
Great display. Oh man, watching you weld make me realize, "I can't weld!" Yeah, I can stick things together but that's about it. Love your videos and yep, I've got your Tig Finger and it's wonderful.
just got my first job in the nuclear industry i owe allot of it to you thank you so much for all the years of awesome videos
congrats, glad to help
Great suggestions for the challenges of thin aluminum. Too many RUclips welders only show pretty beads on thicker aluminum. You're not afraid of tackling the tougher stuff and I appreciate it.
I like the smaller display, just looks right.
I'll keep that tip in mind about pumping the pedal towards the end of a run at the edge.
Just got a replacement last week for the tig finger I lost. Thanks for the sample tungstens! And thanks for making these videos.
I don't own a TIG rig, but I was always burning up gloves and fingers MIG welding mild steel. I bought myself and my best friend some TIG Fingers, and problem solved!
Very cool!
Same here.
LOVE your TIG FINGER, SAVED MY HANDS COUNTLESS TIMES.
MONEY MAKER & GREAT PERSONAL SAFETY INVESTMENT 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I support this message! Boots on the ground..works as advertised! Thanks Jody! For all you do!
Love the tig finger. Use it all the time. It'd be great to see more distributors here in the uk.
I use the tig finger daily. After years of abuse, It looks like its been through a shredder on the ends, but still works perfectly. It's a must have for tig operators.
Love my tig fingers. I've had them for years. A must for aluminum welds. Base metal gets real hot real quick.
Jody, you don't have to try hard for anyone to get something if not all you have to offer from your videos. Well done again and thanks for the great video!!
Awesome! I will absolutely ask my supplier, Jody!!!
Thanks brother! 👌👊
I’ve watched your videos for a long while, and they are always informative. Bought a Tig finger from your store ages ago and although I don’t need it much for what I do (thin stainless tube mostly) it’s always within reach on my table for when I do. Love your work!
All the way from Australia BTW.
thanks so much
I love my TIG finger, I used it today! Thanks Jody!
Love my TIG finger, although I have not used it much but soon will again. These days I'm just a hobby welder and do some repairs. I got an aluminum intake manifold to repair and a stainless exhaust job coming up. I have a AHP Alpha TIG 200X but added a SSC pedal.
thanks very much
hey Jody, my LWS here in Orlando, Robert's Oxygen, out of Rockville Maryland ,
has been selling the real deal 'TigFingers' for a few years now...I bought my first TigFingers
back in 2009 from you [ or somewhere about that time].....do not use as much as I should,
but I keep them handy and give to friends as a gifts...
.you might have seen the photo I sent , well , it has been 11 years now, of
me with a MIG gun and a TIGFinger on the neck, we were welding at 225 amps pretty much
non stop all night long, with 250 amp guns...and they got hot.....so TigFingers have more than one use...
Best Wishes, Paul Brown..formally a co-host from that other welding channel.....weld something or another
thank you Paul
3:18 one very interesting trick when welding tread plate.
Guillotine thin strips of Aluminium tread plate and use it as your welding rod.
Compare the different results using an aluminium welding rod or using a guillotine strip of aluminium you will prefer the latter for appearance.
Pretty cool Jody! Great product. I've bought a few of these from you, large and the extra large, use them all the time!
I can use with mig as well I'm always roasting my left hand gloves!
always a pleasure! love ya Jody
Thanks Jody
Great stuff as always. Thank you.
tig finger is a must doing pontoon repair!
Nice work
Thanks!!
Looks Awesome!
Love your vids…I buy all my guys on my crew tog fingers in regular and xl
Will do man!
I have a few tig fingers from you. Been using them about 6 years I think. I’d buy more from you if the dang things would just wear out. I’ll have to jump over to the welding supply and ask if they have the XL though. They work great for mirror welding and long runs of flux core too.
I got em, had em for years and they are a part of everyday welding life. Only problem is they last for ever and I don't need to buy em very often.
Nice work Jody. 👍
Thanks 👍
The tig finger XL is a fantastic tool to have in your armoury. In the UK it's a bit difficult to find a seller. I use Kevlar gloves for tig and with a finger if I need to prop close up.
Thanks for all your you tube vids.
thank you
Nice job. I make a lot of thinks out of treadplate.
I've got a regular and a XL and get a lot of use from them, have you ever considered offering a 2XL, thanks for the videos🤗😎🤗😎
Hello master. I learn many things from you
Merci
Wouldn’t use anything else, JODY! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍
You should show more of the portaband stand you made. I wanna make something similar, just want different ideas.
Love the TIG Finger, though I don't weld much anymore, as I'm retired. I've suffered the same dilemma where a one could sell $1,000,000 worth of product with $10,000,000 in advertisements. Maybe try posting on welding and fabrication forums.
My weldmonger gloves are my favorite gloves I own
thanks very much
I used to weld a lot of fuel tanks made of tread plate.
"... especially carnival rides" .. I sure hope so 🤓👍
Hey Jody, I noticed you didn't really wire wheel that coating off on here. Is it because it's so thin or is it not necessary?
Thanks for all the good content brother!
Not necessary to wire brush
Is the primeweld machine something you would recommend?
Jody, what filler rod do you like to use on that alum tread plate? If I recall correctly, the majority of alum tread plate is 3003 alloy.
I used 4043 but there are several choices that would be fine for this application
Where can one purchase that welding base plate that is shown right under the display at 06:27?
do you know the EMF 200 amp TAD 1 welder
Do you export to South Africa?
If you do, I will definitely ask my local weld supply store to order some.
Do you have any plans for this band saw holder?
no plans ...I just built it on the fly.
My Primeweld 225 I can’t get it adjusted right for thin steel You got any suggestions it is 22 gauge weldable steel Thanks Jody
Make sure start amps knob is set to minimum as well as all other knobs on that row like upslope and downslope
At the amusement parks in summer, at least twice a day when we get on a ride I announce loudly "Look that WELD IS CRACKED". Yes, I'm an a-hole
How do you clean anodized to weld it
Look up “bump welding for anodized” most anodized fabricators wipe with acetone and then weld
Have you had your eyes checked for cataracts?
Yep
My biggest complaint about the TIG finger is I forget to use it until after it's too late!
I much prefer the tone of my pinky's voice when it's nestled in a Tig Finger!
FORGET THE BLACK STALLION CHINESE KNOCKOFF THIS WERE ITS AT!
🪬
💪👍✌️🇺🇲
