The Nuremberg Zoo is a 65-hectare landscape zoo located on the outskirts of the city of Nuremberg in the Lorenz Reichswald am Schmausenbuck.
If you want to visit this zoo, you should definitely allow plenty of time. Due to its enormous size and to admire everything in a relaxed manner, it is recommended to be there in the morning and stay until the evening.
A good 300 species of animals are kept, including numerous endangered species.
The Nuremberg dolphin lagoon offers visitors a spectacular sight, but is also controversial.
