Vogel & Tierpark Abensberg

The Abensberg Bird Park is a privately operated small zoo in Abensberg in the Kelheim district of Bavaria.
The park was completely renovated in 1994 and 1995. Nestled in the natural surroundings of a 28,000 m² forest area with ponds and watercourses, native land and water birds are shown here south of the Danube on the Welschenbach, as well as a variety of exotic birds from all regions of the world. These include ratites such as emus and rheas . In addition to the birds, some mammal species such as kangaroos , alpacas and potbellied pigs can also be seen
