I hate to think how many dumpsters we could have filled during quarantine. My husband just kept going to the dump. He separated everything for recycling, and put the rest in the landfill. We still have 15 green trash bags for Goodwill when they reopen. It does feel great to get rid of all the things we are not using anymore. I love to see you and Mark working together and breaking down tasks to be less overwhelmed.
Hey Joanna I love a good storm too. We had one Sat afternoon with huge hailstones. I try to do some clearing each day. I have filled two huge bags of clothes shoes purses etc for charities they will be collected on Tuesday morning. Which is good.
Yesterday I cleaned out the the oven and fridge and wiped it all down on the outside as its stainless steel. I used the method spray and it has come up superb. Tomorrow my husband is going to do a couple of shelves and the tops of our kitchen cupboards as I cant get up any more. About 6 months ago I bought a couple of those racks for my kitchen trays too, they are great and make it easier to get the actual trays you want to use in and out. They are also useful for draining them and pot lids once washed up. Looking forward to your live show on Thursday love to you all xx

I was thinking the same thing! Mine wants to save EVERYTHING! He has notes from work from 2000, it kills me to move those buckets in storage and not just set them on fire.
Oh my partner is the same! I throw stuff out and find it in the garage a month later 🤦♀️ I’m at the point where as long as it doesn’t come back in the house I don’t care lol

You and Mark are so darn cute! The dumpster is such a good idea. We have so much stuff piled on the side of our house because we need to do a few dump runs, that would make it so much easier. The house is looking so good, the kid’s rooms are turning out stinking adorable 😍 I love Ava’s room. I think you should go with white curtains. It’s simple and won’t add chaos to the room. If you aren’t worried about them being used to darken the room you could do linen with texture to them or even lace. With the walls being pretty dark the lace could help keep it girly. I can’t believe you had so much energy at 2am, you are an inspiration! I hope I can watch the live feed... great video!

Lol same! My mother knows how but its not the same way she does it & frankly my brain just does not gel with my mothers way and theyre put away relatively neatly anyway (i put the flat and fitted sheets inside the matching pillowcases) but it would be nice to actually know how to do it her way it looks so simple!
It’s an art that’s for sure! I worked in the laundry some nights of a 120 bed aged care facility so eventually I figured out the trick! Haha

First, I just want to say that I love your shirt. Second, maybe white, gold, or gray curtains may work in the room. When I was younger i had a white sheet curtain with fuzzy polka dots that looked really cool

I think a nice cream colored curtain would like great in your daughters room! I really like the bohemian style personally, and I think if you could find some sheer ones with a puffy ball detail on it, that would be adorable!

For the curtains, I’d do white with cool beaded trim at the bottom or something. That way they’re simple and versatile but still a treasure. That’s what I’d do! ✨

I think the light aqua blue in the rug would be pretty as light curtains in your daughter's room. It would make the room feel calm and nice! It would be light enough but also adds an accent. Hope you like the suggestion :)

I need a full step by step video just on how you fold the fitted sheets! That was impressive. I can sit there for 10 minutes trying to fold fitted sheets and they NEVER come out looking an 1/8 that good!
I think we are getting the same weather system in south Florida you guys getting. When you were talking about the storm in the evening, it made me think of the listening to “I Love a Rainy Night” as a kid growing up in Acworth, Ga. I’m dating myself hard with that song!!

Thank you for the video! About socks: I know a mom who bought 20 pairs of the same kind for every family member, one blue, one red and so on. She never has to match anymore, just dump the green socks in her boys drawer and so on. I find this idea brilliant and seriously think of doinǵ that for my family as well.
