I have to laugh when you talked about recliners in your living room. It’s been a battle for me and my hubby for years and I just gave in and we ordered 2 couches with recliners in them. I think the pandemic switched a lot up and we just want to be comfy in our home. 😂😂😂
Recliners- I gave in - gray leather couch with electric reclining features! Ashley Furniture-sleek not “football type furniture” you would never know-especially with skirt on back to floor / hides the mechanism and YOU have floor outlets! Middle seat doesn’t recline but ends do! Also love this feature - charger plugs built in!
Dear dear girl, everything came out beautifully!!! Scrubbed fresh and clean, so rewarding. Love the back porch. 🤸. Please though, please have your kids keep the playroom clean, keep the dining table clean, keep their laundry room clean, etc; if only because it does them a disservice by allowing them to NOT pick up and clean up after themselves - nevermind it helps mom out tremendously!!! Trust me. 😊💕
PS - loved the black til you did the gray / in fact, I think the blue arts n craft table should be painted in that gray!! Love the pew!!

Hi I am loving your content thank you for all the motivation. I am not a fan of recliners but I’ve seen some modern sectionals that are made of all recliners I have one and with kids the only thing I don’t like is the material I’d rather leather with kids but it’s so comfortable.
Woohoo! Watching while I rest from stuffing my face 😂 this is definitely motivating me to get up from my food coma and clean up my messy kitchen from dinner.

Love your videos. Glad you are getting new furniture for downstairs as it always seemed too small for the space. Until you find what you’re looking for I would switch the furniture from the playroom to downstairs. I know you want more seating but the chunky furniture would fit the space better for now.
I do like the shelves you had in the kids laundry looks great! Glad school has been going well and in routine etc. (It’s so different here in Australia haha we have four terms a year- 8-10weeks long with two weeks break in between but Christmas/new year is 6 weeks break as it’s summer then. )

We still have 90-105 degree weather until October 1st. So we have awhile with hot temps. 🥵 awesome you can start feeling cooler temps. Fall/Autumn is my favorite season. 🍂🍁 The playroom looks great! I love how you sectioned it off from the gymnastics equipment. 👏🏻 For the living room-a rug in the center, 2 long couches on each side facing each other, 2 comfy chairs facing the TV and the backs of the chairs are facing the island, and maybe a little coffee table in the middle or a larger pouff in the middle for more seating. Amanda Paige-You Tuber-her living room is kind of how I am explaining. 🍁 The church pew looks amazing! I love the gray on top of the black and the natural wood on the bench itself. 🌾Love your channel and you as a sweet and caring person. Have a great week! 💜

I really needed this motivation today. I'm literally having to do every room and prepare for new furniture coming in and old furniture going out.
Great idea with the zones in the playroom ( gymnastics section). The only suggestion I would make is to put the sofa facing the television with the two chairs facing each other and a good size coffee table in the middle.Would be great to play board games with friends.😉

I love that wood sign so much... rustic stuff is what I have in my house so I love that... the church pew painted wait reminds me of when my aunt had some of her furniture and walls painted white and I love white on a church pew it is beautiful😃 have a blessed day

So glad you have a new video out! You did so much and your house looks so much better. Have you thought of removing the two chairs from the playroom and just having the couch? You mentioned the kids rarely use them and removing them would open up the space.

Yes I am late responding again! What an awesome way to catch up on your videos and you diff give us motivation. One if my favorite things is your church pew. I want one so bad, but I just don't have room. It really looks good Joanna. Thanks for the great videos.
I totally understand your frustration with rugs on carpet. I also love the look of it but I dislike how it always bunches up and gets wrinkled in places. It becomes a huge tripping hazard. My husband and I live in an apartment and we have carpet in the living room, bedroom, and den. I thought that having a large area rug in front of the couch and then coming out from under our bed would serve 3 purposes. 1). It would look aesthetically pleasing; 2). It would help to keep the carpet cleaner since we would not actually be walking on those areas of the carpet; and 3). We have a dog and when her nails get too long they tend to get hooked on the fibers and then she pulls the yarn and I have to go around and cut the loops that she has pulled. But even with having the couch and the bed holding the rugs down, I still ran into issues with getting buckles and wrinkles in the area rug so I ended up removing them both.

My kids go back to school next week and it’s bitter sweet I’ll miss them but on the other hand I’m excited to get some projects done uninterrupted. I’d love to have a covered back porch like yours but the amount of time between heat and cold is very little.

I know you posted this 3 weeks ago but I’m just now catching up watching my favorite RUclipsrs! Anyway you were talking about living room furniture and your husband wanting recliners. I recommend doing theater seating. Now you would have to have somewhere to plug them in but my small family live in a converted RV and we bought a theater love seat and it is the best purchase we’ve made, a bit pricey yes but definitely worth it! And you don’t have to worry about trying to make recliners look good because they do it on their own 😂.

Hey just a quick thought! Maybe selling the couch in the playroom for some play money to put toward the downstairs living room. And since you have mentioned how your kids don’t really play in the play room that often why don’t you try to get Mark some reclining chairs for the upstairs and turn it into a bit of a “man cave” for him? Maybe that room will get a bit more use than😊

Tenho varios problemas de saude e um joelho pra operar.
Sou desempregada.
Aqui a vida é muito cara é dificil de viver. O lugar melhor para viver na Europa è a Alemanha.
Denuncei meu marido italiano por violencia domestica ele batia em mim e nas crianças passavamo fome e frio.
Nos maltrattava , mi estragulava e tentou me matar de facadas na frente dos meus filhos.
Ele roubou os nosos documentos e robou a minha conta do banco zerou o dinheiro que eu tinha deixado pro os meus filhos e roubou a minha casa. (Meu filho tem varios problemas de saude tambem).
Nos deixou sem nada no meio da rua.
Morei muito tempo no meio da rua com as crianças a te que um casal me deu esse apartamento aonde estou morando.
Deus me deu esse teto.
Passo por varias dificuldades e necesidades.
Depois que Denunciei ele, ele botou o conselho tutelar que emvez de me ajudar com o trabalho contas cestas basicas e aluguel levaro embora as minhas crianças porque eu não tenho familia.
Aqui è dificil encontrar trabalho.
Pedi ajuda pro governo e não me ajudaro.
Pedi ajuda pro consolado em milão para os meus documentos e eles não me ajudaro e eles não falam english ou italiano bem direito.
O conselho tutelar me falou que pra mim ter de volta os meus filhos tenho que cuidar da minha saude e dos meus documentos operar o joelho e me sustentar ou encontrar trabalho com cartera asinada.
Devido a os meus problemas de saude eu não consigo andar me mescer levantar pesos e respirar cada vez que tenho necesidades me botam oxigeno no corpo.
Aqui não è facil encontrar trabalho porque os lugares pedem o curriculum que o povo tenha estudado e tenha o proprio carro.
Eu nunca acabei os estudos porque com 2 filhos para criar e sustentar foi dificil.
Não tenho carro e nem cartera de motorista.
A italia è um pais de maschistas mesmo eu tendo provas videos audio e fotos por tudo aquilo que o meu marido fez... ninguem me ajudou.
A justiça não ta do lado das familias e muitas mulheres morem na italia por conta de homens.
Aqui ta tão dificil de viver que quem tem posibilidade fujem e oltros emvez matam os proprios seres queridos.
Não é tudo rosas e flores como o povo mostra.
Quem puder me ajudar por gentileza vai ta me ajudando a ter de volta os meus filhos. Passei muito tempo sem postar conteudos e perdi muitos inscritos e muitas horas. Peço ajuda primerente a Deus e depois a todos que puderem. Por favor...
