    I’m a ram guy but most all chevys look so damn good lowered. 😮 cat eye, all 90s trucks, 07+, brand new body style, duallys, I could go on. They all look so good lowered.

    The way your kid chucked up the dueces ✌️ 😂😂 that was gangster. Backing with confidence. Good to know I can go lower with out c notching

    I remember when someone would say they had a 3/5 or a 4/6 drop you were that low or even lower and not able to run anything larger than an 28" tire without C notching the rear. Now you can do a 4/7 to make it level, and not need to C notch. lol

    McGaughy’s is pronounced Muh-Goy’s for future reference. Great looking truck. I have a black on black 2016 with a 4/7 drop. 😎

    How much do you charge for a job like this?
    I've got a 2014 im currently looking to lower.
    Ive gotten a couple of estimates already.
    One guy wants $900 for the kit and $1500 for labor.
    Another place told me it would cost me 10 hours of labor at $115 am hour plus the cost of whatever lowering kit i decided to go with. In your opinion,
    Are these reasonable prices?

    hello i have a 2013 gmc 4x4 was looking at McGaughy 5/7 drop but the web site says it is for a 2wd truck i was wonding if you have ever done one or some direction. thank you

    • @lowerclassfab431
      @lowerclassfab431  Год назад

      It will not work on 4x4s because the cv axle hits the spindle in the front….I have run into that a few times….IHC makes a kit that will work with 4x4s because it keeps stock spindles and changes control arms

    Could you fit 24’ wheels with this 4/7 drop but with a thinner tire without rubbing or having to cut anything?

      Yes check out this video…we put 24s on it at end of video

    • @lowerclassfab431
      @lowerclassfab431  Год назад +2

      Look at your control arms….if they are silver then they are aluminum…..if they are steel and you see welds on them then they are stamped steel….if they look like the ones on the truck in this video then they are cast steel

  • @bajafishtaco
    @bajafishtaco Год назад

    Do the little ears that hold the hard brake line for the rear end have to be cut off? Or does the flip kit not interfere with them?

    • @bajafishtaco
      @bajafishtaco Год назад

      Im talking about the little tabs that are welded on the rear end where the cradles go

    • @lowerclassfab431
      @lowerclassfab431  Год назад +1

      On the McGaughy flip kit they do not…..but most kits you do have to cut those off and the flip kit has new mounts for the wheel speed sensor wire and brakeline
