the rules of this gimmick is suprisingly consistent, all things consider when it comes to the track records of custom gimmicks. maybe this is worth playing with. really nice level! A+!
dude twincopation might be my new fav rd fan mechanic ever
bird are awesome. i love birds. this level has a bird in it and it's therefore awesome
Meet and Tweet has something that I have wanted in rhythm doctor for a long time
cued owl
And the monocle bird too!
Wow! This is a really good custom! Great work as always.
woah a custom gimmick which actually looks fun to play
plus an anthro crow?!?!?
and song's a banggger
one thing i think is really cool is when the notes do their 2yncopation thing ochre puts a hand to their chest
cool detail
Okay but that was a bop. Love your bird btw! :D
finally found the video this level was from
absolutely love this, and approve of bird !
what will happen if we mix the syncopate and the 2yncopate in a single level🤔
i love ochre i love the music
birds are cute, birds are life, make a kiwi (bird).
Very lovely level!
I just subscribed because this is so cool
BURD?!??!?!!!?!!!
I'd call it something else, it takes 6 beats instead of 7
The customs community already has a cue for six-beats (multiple, even) so these patterns *could* be cued with that on an electric/insomniac row, but I wanted to make a cue that fit the double syncopation rhythm you hear in a surprisingly large amount of songs that didn't need electro cues - hence the name of the gimmick referencing the double synco
@@autumnauster but doesn't syncopation refer to the speed part of it and not the swing element ?
@@Ambipie The syncopation is just the switch from onbeat to offbeat - you can check the wren's beats in X-MAT as an example. Here the beat switches once from onbeat to offbeat, then once more back to the onbeat
To be completely honest though, I didn't really touch on a lot of the possibilities in this level (mostly just being able to make pseudo-swing for part of the tick or creating a three-beat burst)
Can someone explain how the audio cues work for 2yncopation?
The way I have the 2nyco cues set up is like the normal set of synco cues (low beep on 1, 3, 5 before mid beep on the syncopated beat) but the first mid is set to 75% pitch, and the second is normal. As with normal synco, the last beat is always the high beep
@@autumnauster I dont understand much about the normal set of synco cues, but from my guess the beeps happen around the syncopated beats?
sorry im dumb
@@Hypernova386 The way normal synco cues work is that for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th beats _before_ the syncopated beat you'd play a synco beep "low" sound; on the syncopated beat (i.e. the first one that comes earlier) you play the "mid" beep and on the final beat you play the "high". Again, here I play the mid twice for the two syncopations, the first being at 75% pitch--hope this helps!
@@autumnauster It helped a lot, thank you very much!!!
Q: why is it called 2yncopation?
syncopates, twice; "multi-synco" already exists and 2 is the most similar to an S so may as well sneak it in there
underated as fuck
