- Bike: RICKY BRABEC (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM 2020) won the stage Neom / Neom in front of JOSE IGNACIO CORNEJO FLORIMO (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM 2020) and KEVIN BENAVIDES (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM 2020). RICKY BRABEC (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM 2020) is in the lead of the overall.
Quad: GIOVANNI ENRICO (ENRICO RACING TEAM) won the stage Neom / Neom in front of SIMON VITSE (# JE PEUX 2020-BBR MERCIER RACING) and IGNACIO CASALE (CASALE RACING). IGNACIO CASALE (CASALE RACING) is in the lead of the overall.
The circuit from the future megacity of Neom is a real gem. Taking competitors to the border with Jordan, the rally offers a series of canyons and mountains to explore on a carpet of sand. During this special stage, the Dakar will reach its highest point, at an altitude of 1,400 metres.

Ricky Brabec is obviously fast on the bike. But Rally Raid requires navigation skills too. Tomorrow is Ricky's first lead navigator test. Go Ricky!

@@robotsfrom You are correct. I was thinking for this year's race. He's not a rookie, but I'm thinking that he's better at navigating than he was last year. I'm not saying that he is/was bad at. But, coming from US off road racing navigating is relatively new to him. To win the Dakar you need to be great at it. How great is he? Tomorrow we shall see.
@@timkuitems4431 This years navigating has been tough on everyone it seems like. It'll be interesting to see how he does. He seemed to do ok with navigation last year though, but the new limited amount fo time with the road map pre stage may be an issue.

@@philipbarrett3151 Horseshit. ktm cried like little girls and protests made sure that 38 min gap for toby price was cut short to 8 mins because "GPS" problems .. I wonder how with the same "GPS" problems all HONDAS reached ASS. reminds me of the Map trick from last year and the refueling episode from 3 years back, with great racing by KTM in the "office room" with ASO. absolutely cringeworthy.
@@mohba01 Are you saying that whining gave KTM every Moto victory since 2001? Honda last won in 1989. Silly mistakes (like illegal fueling) & mechanicals have cost them dearly throughout the last decade.
@@philipbarrett3151 NO. racing in the office room and having 145 bikes out of 170 and yet threatening to withdraw after rule changes makes them wining little girls. especially after protesting about GPS problems in stage 3 this year where top ktm rider lost 38 whooping mins which was cut to 8 mins. what a shit show.
@@mohba01 It's the Dakar, it's French, and they make up the rules to suit them, if you're looking for consistently applied penalties in sport stay away from Rally Raid (& tennis). Next week you'll have your answer either way.
