As an adult man who wears makeup everyday (who often feels left out of the conversation) and is very particular about what he likes/needs, I find your reviews to be the most accurate and honest out there. I love that you don't overhype products and give the most thoughtful descriptions possible--plus, you put out so much content that anything I'm interested in you will almost certainly cover. You do great work! Never miss a video!
As a combo skin mature woman, I hated how flat and cakey the original looked. I see that here too. The glowy one looks SO much better on you imo. The pores aren't blurred, but that's what makes it looks more natural for every day. Will def have to try a sample. If it's too glowy for my T-zone, I could mix them together. Really curious what that would do. 💡🤔💭
I’ve used Makeup Forever foundation for many many years, I try new ones but I always come back to this one, just ordered the mini size to see how this one work on my dry mature skin, I’m 70.❤❤
Thanks for the comparison, Morgan. Natural matte finishes like the original HD look better on camera. So, if I am going to a wedding or something like that where I am taking a lot of photos, I would prefer a the original HD foundation. The new foundation is lovely for an everyday look.
I'm so oily I struggled with the original on longevity maybe only getting a good 4 hours. I wouldn't dare try the glowy one, but that finish is beautiful!
Okay I'm picking up the Hydra Glow! Great review. Despite having rosacea I still prefer foundations that look like skin, especially on the everyday, the blurred/matte effect just looks unnatural on me as I age (34 here). I have combo skin but leaning more dry. My current fave is the Makeup by Mario foundation but this looks even better!
Thank you Morgan. The MUF foundation looks lovely on you. I am interested in the foundation. I am 57 and have normal/dry skin. I go for the brightening/illuminating foundations.
I have dry leaving normal skin type and I am IN LOVE with this MUFE glow foundation! It looks so nice & the shade match (which happened to be a shade exclusive to their website) for me is exceptional! Great info, Morgan. 😊❤
I prefer the new skincare foundation, although I prefer skincare foundations and am also big into K Beauty so the sheet mask thing is cool. I have dry skin as well so could use the extra hydration.
The missing part is what happens after the cleansing. I wore the new one "Hydra glow" 2 days ago for the first time. And at the end of the day after I cleaned my face, my skin was amazingly smooth. I had never expérienced that before. So I confirm that this product is a wonderful skincare. It was as if my skin had passed the whole day with the hydrating sheet on it. Worth evry penny. 😊
Original looks ok when I first apply but not great later in day just ok .. just ordered the new and excited to try it.. I like glow but not sticky dewy .. also original has alcohol in it and new one doesn’t which is good for sensitive skin
I used the OG MUFE for years … then I went for powder foundation; I just got the original new one to try but haven’t yet … now this new one is out 😂 & I’m very dry … I’ll need to try the original I got first to see if the shade is right 😅 then I’ll try the newer one ❤
Hi all! I work for MUFE and I also noticed that HD glow runs darker than the original! If you wear the original, get rematched for the new one instead of picking up the same number! I personally mix the original and the ultra glow because I love a hybrid vibe! ❤️✨
I have noticed on alot of your video we all tend to prefer the products used on the left side. Which might been ( now considering it happened too many times) due to the lighting or the different color of the background. Would be lovely if you could make your backgroud a solo solid color and the lighting on your left side always favors that side ☺☺
Hello Morgan! I have been waiting for this review from you! Just an FYI, the original HD skin was reformulated in early 2022. Hard to believe it was 2 years ago. I just had to search through my sephora history to find it. I really think I'll love this foundation
You’re such a babe! I really appreciate this wear test ❤ thank you so much for doing this video! I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the original, I used up a mini of it and just felt like on my dry skin, it was a little too matte for me. It’s not bad and I still used it, mostly mixed with other foundations though. I think I may pick this version up in the mini size just to see 😂 I love the foundation stick and their reboot foundation! I just wish they kept the same shades for all the lines, because y215 in the foundation stick is a perfect match for me but I don’t think it’s in the other two lines lol. Excited to give this one a shot! Both look amazing on your skin ❤❤❤
Im curious if the hydra glow feels reminiscent of the discontinued ULTRA HD formula? That was my holy grail and the new HD Skin just does not work on me at all. I'd love to know if the new one is similar in texture at all and I might try it!
Morgan, I'm your exact foundation match--I have this colour too and find it slightly yellow (but wearable.) Do you know your correct colour in this foundation? PLMK if you do so I can find mine, lol. TIA! xx
They both look reallying good on you. Since I'm oily combo I personally like better the matte version. BTW what shade you bought the Louboutin foundation 🙏I usually wear the same shades as you 🤗. Thank you!!!
At least in this video I preferred the side with the older version. It looked very smooth. On the new side I could see texture and for me personally that’s the skin concern for myself that I want to hide.
At least on camera, the original foundation is way more flattering. I love your reviews, I’d love to see a comparison on all the Dior foundations (except the Backstage) - they have so many similar ones it gets really hard to pick one 😅.
The OCD in me noticed your one earring was open and hanging on for dear life. The original is way better!! Adding powder to the newer one is just pointless.
I don't understand... did you use the reformulated OG in the video or the original OG? I think using the newer formula of the OG makes more sense to compare to a new foundation formula. I don't have the OG original formula, so this review didn't really help me see what it would look like now. Such a bummer.
The shade range of MUFE lately is kinda bizarre. Both foundations shown here have not a single shade that woukd suit me. Despite claiming its more neutral, the lightest shade of the new release is actually super pink. And the second lightest shade jumps straight into being too tan and warm. Alas 😅
I usually liike the products you like, but the original HD foundation, for some reason i do not like it. I have normal skin type, it looks cracky on me, it shows my pores. I shake it before using, i feel all the shades are very yellow as well. A lot of people adore the original HD Skin foundation from makeup forever, but do i have a problem? I tried it 4 times, with primer, without primer, it does not work. Is there anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I liked the original much better as well. More natural finish and easy to wear. They also took away my perfect shade. The reformulated version just looked like a mask on me. Their "neutrals" are definitely on the golden side.
GOOD VIDEO AS ALWAYS 😍KUTE THUMBNAIL THO 🖤😘😘🩷BEYOND BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE UR MAKEUP ALWAYS LOOK PRETTY NICE ASS CHEEKS BONES YOU HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND 😇😇STAY BLESS N BE SAFE ALWAYS😇😇
Morgan there’s a user posting your content / I sent a screenshot to your instagram acct so you can see the post. I don’t know if what Facebook will do about it because they are useless sometimes. However I reported it anyway . Hope you get the DM
I was looking forward to this release until I saw that there are so many plant extracts in this foundation-not good for sensitive skin types and can sensitize normal skin.
I don't know if it's just me but I don't love how either foundation wears on your skin. Not to be annoying but the hydrating side emphasizes all your textures in the most unflattering way until you blurred it with the magical Laura Mercier powder and saved the whole look I thought what the heck is she on about that looks like the worst foundation I've ever seen you wearing.
And then you add powder... discredits everything you said about the foundation in the beginning! You might as well just buy the original HD foundation 🤷🏻♀️
The original side is SO much better!! Thank you so much for the comparison. You saved me some money Morgan!
I feel like glowy foundations look best on people with perfect skin. I like the soft matte better it’s blurring your face and looks flawless!
I would love a comparison between the make up forever, and the Nars light reflecting!😊
Yes please ❤
Oh yes same !😊
Please please pleaseeeeee….
As a combo skin mature woman, I hated how flat and cakey the original looked. I see that here too. The glowy one looks SO much better on you imo. You could mix the two and probably get a really nice finish
I’ve used Makeup Forever foundation for many many years, I try new ones but I always come back to this one, just ordered the mini size to see how this one work on my dry mature skin, I’m 70.❤❤
The original foundation looks better!
Thanks for the comparison, Morgan. Natural matte finishes like the original HD look better on camera. So, if I am going to a wedding or something like that where I am taking a lot of photos, I would prefer a the original HD foundation. The new foundation is lovely for an everyday look.
I'm oily so I'll stick to the original and the powder foundation. MF and Nars are my favorites for base.
I bought it as soon as I watched Katie Jane Hughes rave about it. I was blown away as to how skin like it looks. Definitely my new favorite base.
I wish they would just keep the shades the same through out all the different formals. Would make it so much easier
I'm so oily I struggled with the original on longevity maybe only getting a good 4 hours. I wouldn't dare try the glowy one, but that finish is beautiful!
This made me want the original 😍 it looked so airbrushed and flawless on you! Even though I have dry skin I much prefer the look of the original
Okay I'm picking up the Hydra Glow! Great review. Thank you Morgan. The MUF foundation looks lovely on you. I am interested in the foundation. I am 57 and have normal/dry skin. I go for the brightening/illuminating foundations.
I use the original with some e.l.f. Halo Glow. It adds a bit of glow. I use the e.l.f. gripping primer and it does not move.
I have dry leaving normal skin type and I am IN LOVE with this MUFE glow foundation! It looks so nice & the shade match (which happened to be a shade exclusive to their website) for me is exceptional! Great info, Morgan. 😊❤
Hi,,, could you mix them together? So you can get the best of both worlds
I love the new one and can’t wait ! I’ll see how it stands up to my Holy Grail Dior SkinGlow ❤
How does it compare to Dior forever skin glow foundation?
Hi! I really like your videos! Your energy is contagious
I prefer the new skincare foundation, although I prefer skincare foundations and am also big into K Beauty so the sheet mask thing is cool. I have dry skin as well so could use the extra hydration.
I LOVE the original and I'm definitely going to pick up the Hydra Glow for winter. MUFE really got it right with the HD Skin line.
Definitely like the OG better than the new glowy version! It’s more blurring and smoothing.
i think they both look beautiful on you!!! i’m thinking about getting the mini size to try this out. thank you so much for the review. ♥️♥️♥️
You look absolutely beautiful at the end of the test. I love the original side more.
Let’s talk about your flawless under eye at the end of the day 😻
The oroginal one looks so pretty! I am a dry skin and it also looks better on me
The missing part is what happens after the cleansing.
I wore the new one "Hydra glow" 2 days ago for the first time. And at the end of the day after I cleaned my face, my skin was amazingly smooth. I had never expérienced that before. I’d love to know how this compares to Laura Mercier real flawless foundation???
You help me to understand why my skin when is glowy look good when I see it, but with the camara accentuate the pores and texture
Don't take me wrong, you look beautiful, but the original is better!!
I gave away the original because it was awful on my dry skin. The hydra glow is great. I bought a mini and love it.
Original looks ok when I first apply but not great later in day just ok .. just ordered the new and excited to try it.. I like glow but not sticky dewy .. also original has alcohol in it and new one doesn’t which is good for sensitive skin
Hi! I just saw this at Sephora today and I picked it up, excited to try it! Looks nice on you. 😊
Hope you like it!
I just bought this I'm really excited to try it!!! Your eye makeup is always stunning. I don't know how you do it
How does this compare to the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation?
This one has less coverage and more glassy finish
I actually am curious to try this new foundation because I don’t like the original.
I would love to see the CL foundation review!!!!! You are a foundation shade match to me so it would be helpful. Thank you for your reviews.
I used the OG MUFE for years … then I went for powder foundation; I just got the original new one to try but haven’t yet … now this new one is out 😂 & I’m very dry … I’ll need to try the original I got first to see if the shade is right 😅 then I’ll try the newer one ❤

ohh thanks for sharing!

I like the old side honestly don't like the new side at all❤😊
The original one looks so good !!!

Hi beautiful ladyMorgan, girl I was waiting for you all day. Know let’s keep watching, im going to get a cup of coffee, love you beautiful 🥰🌸🌷
this looks perfect for my super dry skin!! the original looked terrible on me lol
Im curious if the hydra glow feels reminiscent of the discontinued ULTRA HD formula? That was my holy grail and the new HD Skin just does not work on me at all. I'd love to know if the new one is similar in texture at all and I might try it!

I used to buy the original one before they reformulated it. The new formula did not sit well with my skin which sucked.
At least in this video I preferred the side with the older version. It looked very smooth. On the new side I could see texture and for me personally that’s the skin concern for myself that I want to hide.
Morgan, how do you clean your brushes instantly? 😊
At least on camera, the original foundation is way more flattering.
I love your reviews, I’d love to see a comparison on all the Dior foundations (except the Backstage) - they have so many similar ones it gets really hard to pick one 😅.
I need to know if this is better than my favourite Radiant Foundation by Nars...😅😅😅
Maybe when it goes on sale I will but I'm not paying full price
Do you wear the same shade as the powder foundation?
As lovely as the new one looks I’m sticking to the original one. 💕
Can you compare it to the luminous silk foundation?
I say try mixing them. 50/50 and see what you get.
I honestly want both so I can mix them and see what happens!!!!❤ 😂 I have the same skin type as you so… yea this could be interesting …
I’ve yet to find this brand in store..😊
Did you apply a primer under the foundation?
The OCD in me noticed your one earring was open and hanging on for dear life. The original is way better!! Adding powder to the newer one is just pointless.
I don't understand... did you use the reformulated OG in the video or the original OG? I think using the newer formula of the OG makes more sense to compare to a new foundation formula. I don't have the OG original formula, so this review didn't really help me see what it would look like now. Such a bummer.
Hi Morgan!! How does this compare to MUF reboot?
Omg I just realized it might be discontinued and this is replacing it
You know…I’ve never even tried the reboot!!
If only they could combine the two formulas together so you get the skincare benefits of the new one with the pore coverage of the original formula.
The shade range of MUFE lately is kinda bizarre. Both foundations shown here have not a single shade that woukd suit me. Despite claiming its more neutral, the lightest shade of the new release is actually super pink. And the second lightest shade jumps straight into being too tan and warm. Alas 😅
Yasshhh morgan, I always trust your opinion 🎉
I'm wondering how this would compare with the Reboot foundation? It's my holy grail and apparently being discontinued😢
It is? Oh no! That's my OG foundation. 😢😢😢
Do you know if it's replacing their Reboot foundation? It was on sale for like $10 and now they don't have many shades.
I hope not 😢
Hello beautiful Morgan 😍
Hello!!
I’m a neutral skin tone and I feel like all the shades from the original are too yellow leaning

I'd like someone to review make-up without any monetary gain.
good luck
I was looking forward to this release until I saw that there are so many plant extracts in this foundation-not good for sensitive skin types and can sensitize normal skin.
I like the original better

Great job Jose. Please subscribe. I am sure a lot of you watch a lot but has not subscribed it’s free so please hit the button.
💕💄
I really don't see any difference at all by the end of the day and the wear test!!!
Definitely like the original better, I don’t think it looks that makeupy!
✨💖✨
I don't know if it's just me but I don't love how either foundation wears on your skin. Lol ❤
And then you add powder... discredits everything you said about the foundation in the beginning! You might as well just buy the original HD foundation 🤷🏻♀️
yes it definitely changed the finish! For true glassy skin, superrrrr minimal powder!
