    Thank you for 38:16 of your time. Today, we're installing the Xtool D1 Extension Rails! This thing is so huge that I'm going to need to build a bigger table for it! Did you get this extension kit for your D1 unit? Do you like it? Let us know in the comments!
    Some of the products I use can be found below. Yes, they are affiliate links and I do make a few pennies from it, but it's free to click and purchasing products through these links can help your printing solutions. All income that comes from affiliate links is saved up to be used to purchase products that will eventually be used for give-a-ways... It's a win-win for both of us!

    Thank you! A comment in Xtool’s tutorial said it took 5 hours and rewatching the clips 30 times. Following your video took me less than 2 hours. Appreciate the attention to detail and highlighting when it was applicable to the Pro model. Thanks again!

      Yea, it's one of those "smack your forehead" things, when you figure it out. :) Also, still trying to find that balance of filming and giving instruction. Not as easy for some, like me. LOL Thanks for watching and congrats on the extensions! You're gonna love it!

    i know their video waits to take the rod off later in the the disassembly but why not take it off first to access the red and white wires? I removed it first and was easier to remove wires.

      Yea, I believe I was just going off their instructions, but if doing something before or after a step makes the process easier, then by all means, have at it. I think as long as it's done right, no matter the steps, then you're golden.

    Are you using lightburn or xcs? Great video ordering my extension within the week. Just doing research. 🍻🎄☃️🎅🍻✌

    • @DiverseCityPrint
      @DiverseCityPrint  9 месяцев назад

      I'm using lightburn. It has a lot more features and I'm already used to it. XCS is a little too watered down for me but may be good enough for most people/jobs.
      Good luck! You'll love it! Also, if you can, and if you will need a honeycomb panel, get the one meant for the extension rails. It's one entire piece. I got the extension rails before that large honeycomb was released, so I have 2 regular sized honeycomb panels side by side, so where the two meet, kinda creates an offset. Hasn't really affected my jobs but now I want the one entire honeycomb panel! :(

    Hi. What about the cable with the yellow top? The one that connect in the motherboard. Wht happened to this cable? Cause I bought the extension kit, I dont have the cable with the yellow that fit with the extension. Ty. Help please

    • @DiverseCityPrint
      @DiverseCityPrint  11 месяцев назад

      The cable with the Yellow connector doesn't change. That should be for the "Y" axis. I don't think the extension kit comes with that because the "Y" axis doesn't change. Only the "X" axis gets longer in length.

    You never wrap the cord around the back and over the top. Wtf are you teaching?!

    • @DiverseCityPrint
      @DiverseCityPrint  Год назад +2

      I've been doing it this way since the beginning (even before the extension kit) and it works and stays out of the way. It's also how xTool wraps the cord. Instead of just criticizing, let everyone know how you wrap the cord? I'm sure there are several ways to 'wrap the cord'... unless you're talking about something totally different.
