Can't say your wrong but after many runs up the hill, you start to learn where to slow down and where a lot of cars park. I was definitely sending it after the Ferrari.

@@Daniel-dj7fh yeah this looks like angeles crest. Not often there's stuff on the roads but some patches are definitely bumpy. Lots of people here on a Sunday morning. Can get dusty and windy at times

That's one of the amazing things of bikes. 75hp makes you almost as fast as a supercar on "normal" roads
Actually, with an extremely talented pro racer on it that supercar would’ve been out done. Unless the driver was also a pro. Then the points go to the car...

Its amazing how you keep up with the super sport. Shows how good of a rider you are even when your under powered
It's always good to see supercars in the mountains
It shows that the owner bought it to use it and not just to flex
and can actually drive it not all over the lines

Just recently bought my first bike- 2022 Yamaha MT-07. Having a blast with it right now. This video brings me joy because one day I'll be able to rock into turns with those steep lean angles. Great video dude keep it up🤙

@Yirlani either way its definitely up on hp. The mt07 is an awesome all around bike but it won't keep up with a super sport in a straight line
In some corners i was quite scared looking at how the bike was twitching. IMHO MT 07 & 09 are great all rounder bikes but they are held back by suspension. Most of the corners you were limited by the bikes stability rather than tire grip or engine power. Its quite unfortunate...
I was watching owning an mt07 myself thinking for him to be pushing the bike that hard in the corners he must have upgraded the junk suspension, but maybe not lol
I have a 2021 and although it does thump a bit into faster hard turns, it still handles well and the comfort I have on SoCal freeways is totally worth the "softness". From my experience all the common complaints I hear on the MT07 suspension is a bit overblown, imo.

Ive owned many many bikes in the past 10 years- and I can honestly say, after owning 1000+cc 160hp machines- I had the most fun on my little MT07... And Decatted it sounded incredible! I'll never forget the adventures I had on that thing.
It's definitely one of the best all around bikes. I had the Akrapovic carbon and it sounds amazing

I heard the stock suspension basically needs an upgrade on the yamaha. But its not that much to rebuild the shock and get fork carts.
dude u must have zero clue about motorcycles. i mean dont take it personal but the mt07 is good for entry motorcyclists. If you really push the bike the suspension and the brakes are so bad, its unreal. However the panigale isnt the best choice for riding in the hills either.

People don’t realise how hard it is to drive that quick in Ferrari that guy driving has mad skills must be race car driver or drives that road every single day cause 9 out of ten people would have slid out on a Corner them cars are hard to drive quick round bends

Yea that suspension upgrade from the older models really just completes the bike.
On my latest video I have a MT-07 2018 with Öhlins supension in the front and back if you are interested.
All the reviews say there really isn't any upgrade in terms of suspension and that it's still trash
@@Zymiful Don‘t trust the reviews, you can really feel the difference, the bike feels much more direct and it isn‘t squishy anymore in turns with bumps in it - where the older suspension definetly was the limiting factor

If you're gonna ride fast in turns get new suspension. On the MT-07 is very poor, can see it while you take tight turns. I recommend looking at YSS on front & rear for budget :)

The throttle tube is ass on this bike! But I do enjoy holding the outside of the bars.

@@Mostlygirth It has a lowering kit and a lower seat, but yeah, it can be done but you would have to watch some videos on riding a tall bike.

As my first bike I'm going to buy an all black MT07 with some modifications afterwards.
new full system exhaust, improved suspension because apparently it's not that good, quickshifter, new mirrors,maybe new tyres
You could argue that I should just buy mt09 but it will be mostly for in & around the city riding, not that much on the highway.

Nice to see some twisty roads in the US for a change, especially those sweepers bends ! I reckon only the guy with the Suzuki 750 that went by you was good at it. You guys could easily go a little faster though, You rode well and kept the adequate distance without losing the concentration kudos to you buddy but do you really need a handful of throttle, you could downshift and pick up the pace ;)
It's reminded me when we used to meet up early in the morning with our mix of 1000s cc bikes and set off to race down the countryside roads which were narrower and with a lot less visibility, no the mention all sorts of dangers on those roads, sometimes we're getting back home minus of biker or just crashing .. :(
Nevertheless, you did pretty well to keep up with the guys as for the Ferrari guy..He surely could do way better !
