- Laughlin, Nevada is known for its clean casinos, easy access to all venues in town and great food to mention a few of its popular amenities. Lots of people enjoy activities on the Colorado River with water taxis taking folks the quick water route to and from casinos and restaurants plus water skiing and other water sports. Laughlin is a mecca for entertainment as well so be sure to check what's available at this cleaner, easier more laid back option for a Nevada getaway.
My Father was one of the major influences that helped in developing Laughlin Nevada, he was part of the maintenance of the California Edison Power Plant that what was a major component of it's development. I made a video in his honor which was our 30th Anniversary of I and my wife's marriage when we visited the Laughlin/Bullhead City area, May God rest his soul.
@Yea Ok Not really, he met Don Laughlin but my Father worked at the Cal-Edison Power plant in its development, its no longer there.
I spent 38 years in the trucking industry and I was introduced to Laughlin way back when they only had four casinos! (YES! only 4!). I can remember when the only way one could get to Laughlin was by boat across the Colorado River from Bullhead City, as, there was no bridge then! I have been going there ever since with every chance I got...now that I retired in 2015 I will be going BACK on the road soon to live full time and you can bet your booties I'll be going to Laughlin pretty quick then! Just can't wait! Thanks for the memories!
It’s just amazing how commercial property just across the river in Old Bullhead City is so cheap! Lots start at $52,000 for a large 100x100 square foot Commercial Lot. Dirt cheap, and with a view of the casinos.

I forget about the bowling center and car museum there, I remember the movie theater and the glass elevator. I haven't been there in 11 years and before that 16 year's so much has changed but yet the same. I would like to go there again in about a year or two in the summer. I remember when I was about 4 or 5 it was either 1989 or 1990 went there for forth of July and a barg that was shooting of fireworks cought on fire.

Boomtown in Bullhead City, Arizona! Investment COMMERCIAL property in Old Bullhead, straight across the river from the Golden Nugget Casino and Harrahs Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, IS DIRT CHEAP. Jet ski businesses want to spread out. They need commercial property to store their jet skies. Better buy now before they grab everything up! The jet skies businesses are making BIG BUCKS and can afford to pay for more Commercial expansion in OLD BULLHEAD.
This place will probably see a significant influx by the time the 2020 NFL Draft comes to Vegas. People who won't be able to afford the higher than usual hotel prices come 2020 draft time will look to places like Laughlin and Primm to find decent rates.
