- Hello and welcome to episode 36 of Trash to Track.
In this episode we take a look at a Hornby Merchant Navy class steam loco. This loco hasn’t ran in a number of years and has damaged side rods. Lets see if we can repair and reactivate this lovely looking loco to operational service.

Nice video of one of my favourites as well - got a few of them!
I thought you were going to forget the lubrication of the motor bush at the brushes end - well remembered!
Did he lose her whistle? Pity. I've had issues with these as well, but I suppose there are aftermarket ones available.
Good job and lovely locomotive. Thanks for sharing.
As you say, every day's a school day, and I like watching all similar videos to see if there's anything I'm missing with my models.
Al.
As good as new, great job 👏
Nice to see these handsome models back in running order. Thanks for another informative video.
Dan, Kudos on sticking to one at a time and keeping your workstation so organised... I wish I could show you the mess from my class 31 repairs today, those things are near impossible to service with all soldered wires everywhere lol 🤣
good vid thanks lee
Another excellent restoration Dan, I was having a nosey on the layout and I saw you got some of those triang Swedish yellow coaches, I'd love a little rake of them if i could even collect up that much
Thank you for doing this for us it runs amazing. We are so grateful and if you have any tips for us starting our Chanel please let us know

Not Dan, but I do have a couple of RUclips channels. The first thing to do is put a couple of videos up so people can give you a view or 2.
Make content that you are interested in, don't try and do it for the viewers, otherwise, you'll run out of steam.
If you are creating or updating a layout, just document your work.
Do your best to provide decent quality video and especially audio. Good luck and I'll do my best to help you gain a foothold.
Do you repair n gauge
Yes i can, email me at dansmodelrailways@gmail.com and we can discuss it
