Hi Victor! Glad to know you enjoyed this video. Here are the contacts for the freediving place: Blue Freedom Apnea - Freediving Club facebook.com/bluefreedomapnea +63 995 531 7185 info@bluefreedomapnea.com
As a teen who has always felt a connection with the sea, I need to enter this course! I live at Laguna but if my mom allows us to go to Bohol this would be a no brainer for me 😄 Thank you for sharing this amazing vlog!
I think the reason why I love snorkeling so much is that it forces me to breathe in a way where I have to be relaxed. I trying to increase my skill set to include free diving . Love your comment at the end about relaxing meditating ….always feel great after snorkeling as it is kinda meditative
It is indeed! Living in the city I always need to remind myself to slow down. And just putting my head underwater in the swimming and applying the free diving technique really makes me feel like I’ve done a meditation session.
Cool!! I learned a lot. I actually did free diving lessons too back in the PH. Took awhile for me to get used to the contractions 😂 using fins also makes it easier to go down I think!
I do remember that! It was a diving pool somewhere in Manila! Well, just try to remember the basics before you get back here and let's go freediving :) :)
OMG! I was just inquiring about freediving lessons at Blue Freedom Apnea just few hours ago and then i saw this vid of yours. This might be the sign to push it! Wish me luck hehehe
the same thing goes for me! when i go feet down first, equalizing was easy. but when i do it head down first, it was painful for me to equalize, which prevents me from going deeper.
Happy to see them still open and in service! The only freediving training center here in El Nido has already closed due to the never-ending pandemic. 😕 Sayang ‘cos this place is also perfect too for skindiving. The rescue part is not usually covered by other trainings, ha. Thanks for including that in your vid!
Oh no! I've never tried it in El Nido but that sounds sad! I do hope this pandemic ends or at least an improvement on the threats of the virus because its so sad seeing places like dive shops close down due to lack of customers. And thats nice to know that Blue Freedom has the safety included. I think its important for any type of training :)
Hello Sir Sway, thank you for watching our freediving vlog in Bohol! We have many other travels around the Philippines in our channel and we hope you can check it out :) Regards from The Travelling Foxes
Right?? It was pretty good! My only complaint is the walls are very thin.. if your neighbors snore you can hear it right through despite it being a villa.
@@TheTravellingFoxes yeah! I think it had something to do with how the roof was designed. We only realized that when we heard the other guests beside our room doing some dirty stuff. Their noises were subtle but you could definitely hear them 😂

Hello, that might be their office or the starting point for the ocean dives that you are looking at. The diving center is called Freedive Panglao. Check if this link works for you: maps.app.goo.gl/i3E4HXvrHSsT7wSL9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
I can’t remember if it was 1,800 or 1,900 for the pool session + open water package with certificate of attendance. Thank you for checking out this video! :)
I can't hold my breath that long, though I can equalize well. I easily run out of air if I swim down or pull myself down the line. Maybe you can share some tips for me so I can hold my breath longer and be able to go deeper towards the sea floor?
Im no professional but based on my personal experience, cardio and breathing yoga exercises really help. You can carry more oxygen in your cells through training and that can help you not feel nauseous as quickly. Before doing it in the water, just hold your breath while sitting somewhere and time yourself. Get yourself used to it and try to make a goal like for example, 1 min.
Hello po, thank you for watching the free diving vlog in Bohol. We have many other travels around the Philippines in our channel and we hope you can check it out :) Regards from The Travelling Foxes
Hi May, you don’t need to know how to swim per se, but you need to be comfortable in the water. Your body suit makes you float, you need to learn how to kick with fins, and the swimming will follow.
Hello Mary, I used to compete nationally in swimming here in the Philippines.. so I have a bit of an advantage when it comes to diving even if it’s my first formal class 😊
Sooo floating to the middle of a lake on a blow up raft with nobody around, and no gear isn't the proper way to do it? Wish I would've known this before I took my first 135 foot free dive, I almost died lol 🤷♂️
Well glad your alive and well. Freediving is a Dangerous sport and can take some peoples lives if they don’t know what they are doing. Always remember…NEVER DIVE ALONE.
@@TheTravellingFoxes Sounds like sleep apnea, I have it quite severe and use a CPAP(constant positive airway pressure) machine to sleep. If I forget to use it I have some crazy dreams!

I use the Badjao breathing it's much better for me. I learned freediving with Badjao in 1970s in Cebu City and Freediving was not even popular or a house hold name. Try the Badjao Breathing it won't hurt. Dive Safe!

Apparently all we need to do is to dive more frequently.. Which I guess, if you're based in the city like me, would be hard to do :)
Don't miss Agatti island or Bangaram Island in Lakshadweep ❤️

Can a aged 72 retire guy learn freediving.
Hi Ding, it should be okay if you have no lung or breathing problems. Best to consult with your doctor but it’s pretty achievable for anyone.
I don't know how to swim , can I still learn freediving?
