Sorry that it is so long Dan, but I didnt write anything down before hand.
Remember Dan: You owe us nothing more than your honesty, and if you have to fake your interest in Dan 3.0, then no one will benefit.
Do whats best for you dude. All we want is a happy Dan.

Great take on it, my friend. Your idea on a person on RUclips doing what they love, and what they do best really struck me as a profound view on the site as a whole. I completely understand what you're saying, in the sense that Dan should do what makes him happy, rather than what he HAS to do. I also like your comparison to a puppet show, as it describes where Dan 3.0 has gone. I completely respect your opinion, and am glad that you care about Dan's situation.

I must say that things that attract me to a RUclipsr as well is not the content, but that "they are being true to themselves" like you said. I would say if you can do that with Dan 3.0 from here on out, then keep going. If not, then change your ways.
