My man - this is great. I started journaling more recently because of stress, mental health, etc., I usualy use the Kindle Scribe for this, but this is great because it uses multimedia and what we have in our pockets all the time. Fantastic. Thanks man, and thanks for always taking time to talk about other things that are so much more important than JUST photography. YOU ROCK.

I created my own journaling App/process using... Apple Notes :)
Dedicated folder "journaling", then 1 folder per month to sort the notes from the previous months.
I created a shortcut that once pressed, it creates a new note in the "journaling" folder named "Tuesday, Jan 9. 2023" (taking today as an example).
If a note with this name already exists (cause I journaled earlier in the day already), it opens the note from the day.
I can then write, draw, copy/paste whatever in on my mind. It's a free canvas. I sometimes use a list with checkbox, and other tools offered within Notes.
And it can be protected by password.
And it's available on Mac and iPad!
And I can search for a date, or a keyword (I use #tag to mark things)

I am curious too to test the app. But journaling, man! Giving all my private thoughts and daily life to apple!?!? That is tough. I do not want apple to know everything about my life. 🤔🙁

Interesting point about freedom of speech. Analogue will probably be the last bastion of it.
