Tony, this was a great walk around of the UDT. I especially like how you didn't edit out the effort required on some of the pins and latches. I know they need a little grease but it shows how beefy the thing is. It did not move at all when you loaded your BobCat! Nice color combination too.
I still have this dump traier and it is in great condition and still works absolutely amazing! This thing can take a beating. Only reason i wont buy another is because the price is wayyyyyy too much now its ridiculous.
Got a quote for 21k today. Other brands are 15-18. This blows them out of the water. Only thing is that my plan was to cut a 16ft down to 14ft so I could add a log crane, it would be difficult to cut such a nice trailer up but I'm still considering because it has all the bells and whistles and I could be using it tomorrow. I'm just not happy with the log loader trailers so my plan is a much better loader and a much better trailer. Want a tube deckover bwise but they're impossible to find. Think it could stand up to 400 cords of firewood per year for 5 years? Still 21k has me scratching my head. My last bri Mar was like 8k out the door.
Holds one Rv and or 2, 18 wheelers, capacity unknown, somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 thousand tons. 4 foot 489 inches wide, Can back up in a trailer park blind folded , ok for work, but great when caught in a warzone, lol , that's awesome , love this setup!
great setup ! that is a really smart design. i just bought a pj 7x12 which suits my needs. but that is the sickest most badass trailer i have ever seen. best to you !
OK, so your trailer is empty, you put the supportive drop legs down in the back, you load the machine. Trailer is now sitting there with a bunch of weight in it. How hard is it to release and pick the drop legs back up for travel? It looks like they would be in a bind with all the weight of the equipment that is in the trailer.
I have the same trailer. You don’t have to put the jack legs all the way to the ground, you should take into consideration that the trailer will have additional . I leave my drop legs about 3 or 4 inches above the ground. When the machine rolls into it, the legs are just there to keep the tongue from rising lifting the back of the truck. Those drop legs are also on spring loaded pins. So it’s very easy to release them and retract the legs. Hope this makes sense the way I described it.
I dont even drink, but this is one of them trailers 4 or 5 buddies stand around holding beers looking at it and admiring it for hours, next thing you know it's 1:00am and some how you got talked into hauling 5 head of cattle in it and one buddy sitting on a cow with a 24 pack of Milwaukee's Best when you get back to your destination. Only for everyone to wonder how your buddy got a case of Milwaukee's Best becouse no one drinks that sh#t. 😂😂😂
FYI, those jacks on the back keep your rear truck tires on the ground, when loading equipment. If you’re parked on a hill, while loading, it can make for an interesting ride if the trailer wheels aren’t chocked.
I would think the bucket should go in first so more of the machine weight is over the axels and not added tongue weight. I just bought the 14’ today. Taking it home on Monday.
It is a really cool design but if she have to stack anything higher I feel like you would get caught on the door also now there is many more things that can go wrong and may need repairs instead of a simple lift and open the doors by yourself
This is what I am concerned about as we haul tree debris in our trailer often and that could cause a problem when we have mounding tree debris to dumb. I like the sides that fold making loading the trailer easier

The Ultimate dump 16' with 7k axles runs about 17K $. it weighs over 5K empty. you need a minimum of a stout 3/4 ton. Diesel is recommended since the GVW with the 7K axles is 15,500LBS. I have a 14' Bwise dump but am upgrading to the Ultimate dump this summer. 8K axles will set you back another 2400 or so and come with some serious tires on them with different rims.

how many times are you able to dump and or run the gate on a single charge? I assume the 110 is only a trickle charge and really very minimal charge from truck.
It's hard to say how many times but I would guess about a week if you are using it lightly. If you are using it many times a day and dumping heavy loads it will need a charge. It's simple to just plug it up at night and put a note on your dash board saying unplug trailer before driving.
Any 7 round RV plug has a 20 amp battery charge line built in. So if the trailer utilizes it like they should, the truck will provide 20 amps for charging anytime the trailer is connected. Many vehicles leave that terminal hot even when the tow vehicle key is off.
